Was trying to come here to get my eye test done, set an appointment and had a confirmation email with the date and time. Took time off work and showed up for my appointment (on a Thursday) only for them to tell me they only had doctors for eye exams in on Tuesdays and Fridays. So, took time off work to come in and have no service provided even though I had a set appointment for that exact service. read more

My sister and I visited LensCrafters on Havana/Mississippi on 02/14/25. There were 2 associates in the store. No one acknowledged that we were in the store. 2 more customers walked in and were helped immediately. Needless to say my sister and I are black. The 2 associates and 2 customers who were helped immediately were white. I have bought my glasses at this store (and when they were at Aurora Mall) for several years. Today I brought my sister in so she could get a pair of glasses. We walked out of the store disappointed. We both will be looking for a new place to buy glasses. SHAME ON YOU LENSCRAFTERS. Horrible experience. 2weeks in a row appointments cancelled and give bull?$&&! Reasons for cancelling. They call you to request you to come in earlier then when you arrive ; you are told that the appointment had been cancelled. Really no stars. Do not see how they are in business read more

The staff here were real professional, clean and caring. I made an appointment, but had to wait for a little before I got serviced. They were quick, helpful and approachable. I called, having an emergency; my glasses had broke, and I needed replacements, ASAP. After contacting multiple locations along my route, from Nevada, to Pennsylvania, this location seemed best suited for my needs, both in accessibility for parking my truck, and hours of business. I already had a recent prescription, from June of the prior year. My mother, whom had my prescription in hand, contacted LensCrafters, and spoke with Alice, who assured both my mother, & I, that despite the prescription being expired, they would indeed fill the prescription, and create lenses for me, the same day. Alice and I worked out the timing for my arrival, and she assured me that the necessary staff would be on hand to assist me, and ensure that I had glasses, that evening. Erin was the sales assistant who actually assisted me in choosing frames, measuring my focal point, and all of the associated tasks. Chris was the lab technician who created my lenses in an extremely short period of time. I was in, and out, in less than 90 minutes. Thank you, again, Alice, Erin, and Chris. You not only relieve my stress, you gave me back my ability to continue working. I cannot heap enough praise upon these three individuals, and this location in general, for assisting me in a dire situation, and ensuring that I was able to get a replacement pair of glasses, and continue along my journey. read more

We had an appointment on 1/11 at 11 AM. They kept us waiting until they really opened at 11:30. No restroom for patients even though they clearly had one. We had to use the one in the food court. They have a updated eye mapping machine they charged $39 they used. They did not advise us prior to the exam that my insurance did not cover it. Other companies charge $15 without insurance. The optometrist is only in 2 days a week. He examined me and advised I could no longer wear contacts as I have cataracts in both eyes now, and he recommended glasses for me and wrote out a prescription. He saw my husband and wrote out his prescription. His eyesight has changed very little. We then proceeded to order glasses with new frames. With our insurance we wound up paying $401. That is price gouging, even though they say they have upgraded lenses. The repair plan is $39 a year and the repairs cost $25 each. Why are you paying for some thing to guarantee glasses to be fixed if you have to pay to repair them? I saw the doctor on the 11th and I still have not gotten the referral for him for my cataract doctor or the report of my exam showing I have cataracts. This is now the 19th. What is taking so long? I don't recommend anybody to go there. read more

Will never be coming here again. Purchased the insurance plan for my glasses, paid over 300 for the appointment and glasses, only to have to pay more when I came in for a new pair using my insurance. They specifically told me the insurance would cover anything, but nope. Paid for my new glasses, AND THEN they make you give them your old ones even if you still use them for backups or anything! I don't have a lot of money as I'm 20, and wanted to cry in the store when they took my glasses from me that I can hardly afford, to DONATE to someone else. Lmfao, and the woman working with clients in the front was very unhelpful. Went to Wal-Mart eye care after and got an exam, glasses, and CONTACTS for way less. read more

I had an eye exam on the 9th of December. All went well, the Lenscrafter's staff was great and I purchased two pairs of glasses from them. When I received the glasses after a few days I determined that the prescription in the right eye was off. I called the Lenscrafters and explained the situation. They transferred me to the Doctor's office who promised me a call back as Dr Kuenning was not in. I just wanted to come in to have one eye reexamined and was willing to pay for that out of my own pocket. Four days later I received a call from the retail staff to come in and have the lenses tested. I did so on 22 December. All was well and I was informed I would be receiving a call from the Doctor's office to make things right to have the lenses replaced. After 16 days, I received no call. Today I returned the glasses for a full refund and informed the Doctor's office that a call back would no longer be required as I will go see another Doctor. My intention was to get an exam, purchase two pairs of glasses with the script before my insurance expired before year's end. With a new insurance company after January 1st I intended on purchasing two more sets of glasses. This was all to be done before my wife and I move overseas for a remote posting for two years in a few weeks. I am now without any glasses, and a useless prescription. But the Doctor's office has been paid, and I even got the additional exam items which I paid for out of pocket. My wife is happy with her exam and the two pairs of glasses she purchased. But because I could not get a call back to reexamine one eye, the Lenscrafter's retail operation just lost out on the sale of 6 sets of glasses. All could have been avoided with a simple, timely phone call by Dr. Kuenning or her staff. I do not recommend seeing this Optometrist. Your time and money is better spent elsewhere. read more

My wife went in for an annaul exam which is free with our insurance. The doctor asked some questions and she told them she sometimes has headaches because they asked. She wasn't there about the headaches she was there for the annual exam since they called her in for it, she would go to a real doctor about the headaches and if the doctor told her to get an eye exam we would have went where our health insurance is accepted. She is not from this country and they told her she has to pay for the exam and told her she cannot leave unless she pays. These people are crooks and trying to take advantage of a foreign woman. My wife did not bring any method of payment with her since it was a free eye exam and covered by our insurance. My wife was scared thinking they were going to call the police if she didn't pay the bill right then and there. I would not recommend doing business with these people. read more

I should have read the reviews on here, and Google Maps first. I was 7 min late. The receptionist thought I was with the man in front of me, so she left me standing there waiting for 14 min. Then they took me back and said she would have to reschedule me, then she walked away, so I left. Not my fault the receptionist is incompetent, it was obvious I was not with that man. I did not go with them when she took him to get his glasses, the biggest clue was when she saw him leave, and me still standing at the counter. read more

Amazing! This is where I've been going to for my eye ware glasses for 15 years! My family is so familiar with this LensCrafters that we started doing our regular eye check up here since the beginning of ever coming here. I've had many pairs of glasses bought from here and always had wonderful people assist us. There are also special warranties there for people whom has had their glasses damaged or just completely lost. They have a large and wide selection of glasses to choose from, as well as customized pairs for different patients. Before the glasses are issued to you, they make sure you're able to take the official eye test there. Their vision test only takes up about an hour, and it's absolutely free. The glasses itself are nice and affordable too. read more

Horrible. Got my prescription wrong & their method to solve the issue when I asked for a refund (my sunglass lenses were terrible, sharp edged and didn't fit the frames well) was to say go get an exam elsewhere, we'll give you lenses tonight in your old scrip BUT we'll keep your $200 and when you get a new scrip we'll give you new lenses. Excuse me, I get my old lenses and you keep my money? Great customer service I'll never come here again. Rude associates, bad service. Zero stars. read more

We went to pick up my husband's glasses which they couldn't find his file at first, they then told us they weren't in, then we were told they were being worked on in the back. The person who stands out the most is Jane. She was rude and came across as completely put out by our need to figure out where his glasses were. Call me crazy but if you spend close to $500.00 for glasses you want to pick them up. Amanda was pleasant and very helpful in the end, while Jane ignored us. read more
