This company is a favourite of mine when I visit Canada. This store is located amongst a street…read morefull of fabric stores so it might not be everyone's favourite. I always head upstairs to the second floor where the ends/clearance/sale fabric is. Like most fabricland stores they have quite a selection of interesting knit prints as well as other fabrics here. There are 4 floors in this store but sadly only 2 of them are in use (I think ghosts live in the basement...maybe). While the normal process of their fabric can be pricey it's good quality and if you hold out for a sale it's not so bad. The staff are hard to find here sometimes due to the size of the store but the ones I've come across are friendly and helpful. Always a favourite store of mine to visit when in the area.

I have been purchasing my home accessories from them for more than a couple of years now and it's sad to see they've closed their Toronto store, but I'm happy they have opened new ones. You can also order online and have your order delivered to your home or a store close by. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. There's ample parking spaces available in the mall parking.

I actually haven't heard of them before or at least, didn't really notice. I found out that they're Canadian, family-owned, and female-owned interestingly enough. The online options were plentiful but I really wanted to be able to feel the quality of what they had. The store is pretty new in Mapleview and huge! It's split half half between kitchen and bedding. They have all manner of kitchenware and utensils, including small appliances. There's a lot of selection of everything and they usually have them out of the box so you can pick things up and get a feel for them. There were a lot of drink machines to choose from like espresso makers and carbonated water machines, including branded ones like Nespresso and SodaStream. They have a lot of collections and sets that you can coordinate between. There was ultimately a little too much selection as I needed a night to sleep on things lol.

There's a sale section in the cubicles towards the back as well. There's sewing machines along the right side for classes. Check the website for the variety of things you can learn to make. These range from handbags, clothing (jackets, leggings, skirts, dresses), quilts, felted animals, serger basics, embroidery and more. The back right corner had sewing equipment as well as PDF patterns for sale from Noodlehead. Just a heads up that these are sold at a premium compared to getting them directly from Noodlehead. This was my first time at the shop but my cousin's second. She says that the other lady running the shop was much more helpful with selection and input as she had questions and the lady in the store was very short with her answers. Could be that she had a cold and wasn't feeling well.

I was wearing hiking shoes and sat in the chair she picked out one that I tried on a carpeted surface. I thought it was sturdy enough and the tag said it was $139 which I thought was a steal. There was a mesh chair that interested me more but passed on the $300 price tag. Too good to be true, I bought it anyway. I noticed in the store the lever for locking the tilt and height adjustment was installed on the left side of the chair. So when I got it home I naturally slid out since I was on a wood floor and at that point it I realized it was installed backwards and the handle should have been on the right. Next day I took the screws out, moved the lever to the right and I could suddenly sit down in it without falling out of it. Besides throwing it in my suv, I did little to assemble this thing.
