I am writing to formally report a series of deeply troubling experiences I encountered at your radiology facility located at 102-34 Atlantic Ave, Ozone Park, NY 11416. I visited your office on November 4th and again on November 18th, and both visits resulted in significant distress, unexpected financial burden, and a profound breach of my comfort, privacy, and dignity.
On November 4th, 2025, I arrived for my 2:00 PM imaging appointment and remained at the facility until 4:00 PM. Before leaving, I confirmed with staff that all necessary imaging had been completed and was explicitly told that I was cleared to go. The following day, I received an email falsely stating that I had "left before imaging was completed," which contradicted what staff communicated to me and forced me to miss an additional day of work to repeat imaging that should have already been finalized.
When I returned to Lennox Hill on November 18th, 2025, for a 10:00 AM appointment, I was not finished until 3:00 PM. Throughout that five-hour visit, multiple staff members demonstrated unprofessional conduct and poor bedside manner. On more than one occasion, staff entered the room while my robe was off, without ensuring my privacy, leaving me unexpectedly exposed during highly sensitive procedures. This made me feel violated, uncomfortable, and disregarded as a patient.
Additionally, staff openly commented about how "disorganized" my chart was and complained that fixing it would "take too long." My imaging files and photos were misplaced repeatedly, requiring me to redo the same sonograms and mammogram multiple times. These errors have resulted in nearly $1,000 in copays, costs that should not fall on me given that the issues stemmed from staff oversight and mismanagement. Despite all of this, I still left without any completed or usable results.
Shortly after, I was contacted a third time and informed that I needed to return yet again to redo testing due to what I strongly believe was another error on your end, as I was told the images could not be read correctly. This only further reflects the pattern of disorganization and lack of quality control within the facility.
The manager on duty, Brandon, acknowledged the situation but noted he was only covering for the day and attempted to excuse the problems by stating that this was not his usual location. His offer to buy me lunch felt dismissive and inappropriate given the severity and sensitivity of these issues. It minimized the emotional distress, privacy violations, repeated procedures, and the overall impact on my well-being.
I want to emphasize that breast and diagnostic imaging are deeply personal, often anxiety-inducing, and require the utmost accuracy, care, and respect for patient dignity. Instead, I was met with repeated errors, breaches of privacy, and careless handling of procedures that are already emotionally heavy for any patient. No individual should ever feel unsafe, exposed, or overlooked during medical testing, especially during procedures as sensitive as these.
I am requesting that this matter be addressed promptly and professionally. These are not minor inconveniences but serious concerns that need immediate attention to ensure no other patient experiences the same mistreatment.
