If I could give -5 stars, I would. This is a terrible place with unacceptable customer service…read more They failed to provide information they should have given us from the beginning. When we returned to get that information, we were told the account was inactive and therefore they could not access it--something that should have been clarified earlier. I spoke with a man named Rehan and another named Sam. Sam hung up on me more than three times, and every time I called back, I had to repeat the same issue from the beginning. After explaining everything, they would say "one moment" and then disconnect the call. This is absolutely terrible service, especially from people who are supposed to be patient and helpful. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

And instead of taking his time to go over the important things to be discussed, the lookalike whizzes through a summary, barely looking up from the page. You're kinda pissed now, right? Welp, that was me yesterday. I've been looking for a new doc since the oneI loved stopped taking my insurance. The company recommended Dr. Singh when I requested a female doctor and sent me a new card with her as my PCP. I researched her credentials and had my first appointment in August. She was kind and patiently answered my questions and took some blood. I felt like I'd trust her more over time and was happy to have a closer doctor. She told me to return in a few weeks for test results. I've been anxious about my kidneys and metabolism. Dr. Singh has two offices blocks apart on Liberty Ave. For my follow-up, I went to the family practice and was told that she wasn't there, that she wasn't in at all. The urgent care did have my appointment, and a lovely nurse took my vitals. Then, a male doctor walked in with the sheaf of my results. He sped through the numbers along with some template patter about eating fruits and vegetables. The average doc spends 17 minutes min with a patient. This guy was done in less than 12. I felt like a speed bump, an intrusion in his day. He told me to come back in a couple weeks. I knew that my return was dependent on seeing Dr. Singh, the PCP on my insurance. The receptionist said it's hard to get Dr. Singh since she's usually at her third practice in Hicksville. I walked out, annoyed. But I ended up at the family practice and asked if there's a female doctor who is regularly in the office. I was given her card and am deciding if I should make the appointment. Or I could switch my insurance so I can return to the great one I have been seeing for years.

I have never written any complaints on yelp, but this is distasteful…read more As a medical profession who also treats breast cancer patients, I am highly dissatisfied with the treatment of a family member. The radiologist proceeded to tell an 87 year old breast cancer patient that she had an abnormal mammo/sono (on the opposite side of her previous treatment). I supplied them with her old films for comparison immediately, due to my grandmother's obviously well deserved anxiety over the situation. I was told a different radiologist was there Thursday and the other one (who I need) typically comes in Monday's but wouldn't be in this Monday; and to try again Thursday of next week. Basically, I would have wait another week minimum to gain any information to back up the radiologist telling my grandma she had an "abnormal mammo/ sono". Waiting two weeks with anxiety/not sleeping. Completely unprofessional/inconsiderate. An example of horrible patient care.

The only drawback I would say is that they have three offices, this one, and two in Long Island. Make sure when you make an appointment to get any kind of test you specify and ask them to confirm the location. The last time my Father had to have an open MRI, they mistakingly made the appointment at the Rockville Centre location, and after some going back and forth with them they did not want to take us when it was their mistake, but finally did. It took almost three hours from the time we got there until the time we left. I told them good customer dictates when it is their mistake, it is on them. Other than that, I would recommend this place, when they work good and efficient, they are tops! They have digital mamography machines which are a whole lot better than the old analog one like at Richmond Hill Radiology.

Appointments, I believe, are not required but documentation for instructions for the purpose of testing are required from one's employer. I do not believe the bodily "donations" are examined on premises but sent elsewhere to a lab for results.
