Don't work there! They bounce checks. If they don't pay their workers, they will not provide good service!!!!

And instead of taking his time to go over the important things to be discussed, the lookalike whizzes through a summary, barely looking up from the page. You're kinda pissed now, right? Welp, that was me yesterday. I've been looking for a new doc since the oneI loved stopped taking my insurance. The company recommended Dr. Singh when I requested a female doctor and sent me a new card with her as my PCP. I researched her credentials and had my first appointment in August. She was kind and patiently answered my questions and took some blood. I felt like I'd trust her more over time and was happy to have a closer doctor. She told me to return in a few weeks for test results. I've been anxious about my kidneys and metabolism. Dr. Singh has two offices blocks apart on Liberty Ave. For my follow-up, I went to the family practice and was told that she wasn't there, that she wasn't in at all. The urgent care did have my appointment, and a lovely nurse took my vitals. Then, a male doctor walked in with the sheaf of my results. He sped through the numbers along with some template patter about eating fruits and vegetables. The average doc spends 17 minutes min with a patient. This guy was done in less than 12. I felt like a speed bump, an intrusion in his day. He told me to come back in a couple weeks. I knew that my return was dependent on seeing Dr. Singh, the PCP on my insurance. The receptionist said it's hard to get Dr. Singh since she's usually at her third practice in Hicksville. I walked out, annoyed. But I ended up at the family practice and asked if there's a female doctor who is regularly in the office. I was given her card and am deciding if I should make the appointment. Or I could switch my insurance so I can return to the great one I have been seeing for years.

I checked in at 1:10 they didn't call me in till 2;00 and then I waited another 20 mins in the room waiting for the dr . The Dr didn't wear gloves and didn't use sanitizer . He must have missed the class about health hygiene in the medical field . He touched my face bare hands . On top of that he said "I don't know what it is you should see your primary ". Finally he said he's gonna give a referral and to wait in the waiting room . Well I waited another 10 mins and just walked out I had to go to work . Waste of time and a waste of my 25.00 co pay . I'll never go near that place again . How it's still open is beyond me .

The waiting area has more chairs to accommodate patients. Let me just say, Dr. Andrews has great bedside manner, and the office does blood work onsite, without having to go to Quest Diagnostic which is a plus. However, the wait time is extremely long. During my last visit my appointment was for 12:45 , I arrived 15 mins early as instructed during online check-in. I waited in the waiting room for about 10 mins. Once I got into the exam room, they took my vitals and after that the wait began, After waiting 30 mins I checked with the front desk to see what was taking so long, they assured me I was next. I went back inside to wait. while sitting in the exam room for another 15 mins I heard Dr. Andrews going into another room seeing another patient. I had to leave without being seen, total wait time one hour. Staff was apologetic and offered to reschedule

From the moment I walked in, the staff at the front desk was friendly and welcoming, which set a positive tone. It was refreshing to have a conversation where I felt valued, and my input was genuinely considered. Horrific 10-Hour ER Experience at Jamaica Hospital - Parent Advocacy Completely Dismissed…read more On the evening of September 22, 2025, my 18-year-old daughter called me around 6 PM in severe pain, saying she could barely breathe or move without intense pain on her left side. I told her to take a cab to Jamaica Hospital ER in Queens, just 7 minutes from our home, and I would meet her there. When I arrived, she was sitting alone on the adult ER side, not pediatrics, which was already upsetting given how frightened and uncomfortable she was. After about 15 minutes, she was called to the back. As I stood to accompany her, I was told I couldn't go in "because she's 18." I was shocked and extremely upset. Just a few months ago, I was her medical advocate as a minor, and now I'm suddenly excluded because of an arbitrary age line? Over the next several hours, I checked on her every 15-20 minutes. She was in severe pain, sitting upright in a hard 90-degree chair, not offered a bed or even basic pain relief. She submitted a urine sample within 20 minutes of being back there -- but an hour and a half later, there were no results and no pain meds. When I spoke to the staff, the head nurse coldly told me, "It's Monday, we're understaffed." I understand Mondays -- I've worked in a busy pediatric office for 17 years -- but that doesn't excuse nearly 2 hours of waiting for a simple urine result, no pain relief, and no updates. She was still sitting in pain on a hard chair the entire time. I refused to leave until she was at least given pain medication, and was told it needed to be approved by the pharmacy. I told the head nurse I'd be back in 30 minutes. When I returned 40 minutes later -- now over 3 hours in -- she was still without results, and I was denied access again. Only after demanding to speak with an administrator was I finally allowed to see her. I found her still sitting upright in excruciating pain, more than 3 hours later. Only then did results come back, and we were told a CT scan was needed. I demanded she be given a bed due to her discomfort, which was finally done. From there, it got worse: Blood was drawn successfully, but IV fluid failed due to a collapsed vein and had to be redone. As someone who draws blood daily from infants to young adults, I ended up assisting the PCA because they struggled with my daughter's veins. After waiting for blood results to clear her for the CT with contrast, we were told -- at hour 6 -- the blood had hemolyzed and needed to be redone. At 7.5 hours, she finally went for the scan -- which had to be repeated because the tech used the wrong IV site, which had already failed. This led to her arm becoming inflated and swollen from the contrast injection. (post intervention, complete arm from shoulders to knuckles became inflamed with injection site hard like a rock which decrease mobility due to stiffness and pain for the next 2 days) Now approaching hour 9, we still had no CT results. At 5 AM -- 10 hours later -- I confronted the GYN doctor who had seen her at 7 PM the night before. He had no other patients, was walking around aimlessly, and yet had done nothing to follow up on her results. It wasn't until I pushed and demanded action that things moved forward. This entire experience was inhumane, unsafe, and neglectful. To think that just because my daughter turned 18, she was denied the presence of her mother in an overwhelming and frightening ER -- and left to suffer for 10 hours with minimal communication or care -- is appalling. She had never been alone in a hospital before, never even been out that late at night, and yet Jamaica Hospital expected her to handle this alone? I had to fight tooth and nail just to support her through an ordeal that no young adult should have to face alone. Jamaica Hospital, you need to seriously reconsider your policies and how you treat patients and their families. Being 18 does not mean a parent's support is irrelevant -- especially not in a medical emergency. Do better Katrina Davila 09/27/25 Trinabr716@yahoo.com

A cancer screening was being denied by my insurance multiple times my insurance called and radiology place called asking me to speak to my doctor for them to follow up. Over a month goes by and yet nothing from my doctor. So I call and I get Awilda on the phone. When asking for help and telling her how everyone needs to approval to come from the doctor she said we don't do that, laughed and gave me an attitude. She then proceeded to hang up on me. I couldn't believe this was a doctors office treating a patient asking for help like that. This was extremely childish behavior I don't understand how they hire people like that. They truely don't care about their patients to allow someone to treat people like that. They are supposed to be helpful and professional and at least do their jobs. Never had such horrible treatment from a doctors office. Now since I complained to the office manager they are referring me to a specialist. This is the 3rd specialist they are sending me to so I'm not really sure what they do in this practice. Will definitely be finding a different more professional and competent doctors office to go to. They don't care about their patients at all. Do not go waste your time with them. Very ghetto very unprofessional!
