The scheduling is absolutely a nightmare. They say they are booked but can schedule 3-4 weeks after whenever you call for an office visit. THEY HAVE 3 OFFICES ON JAMAICA AVE within a few blocks of each other and they are all booked? Need up using Urgent Care. Ended up in a hospital (5 days) with pneumonia and lungs are already compromised. Yet waited another 3 weeks for an appointment...follow-up from being discharged from hospital. I'm so glad to have dropped this place. Can not be trusted medically. read more

I've been going to these offices for a couple of years and never had an issue till today. The unprofessional staff answering the phone was probably the worst treatment I've ever seen in my entire life. A cancer screening was being denied by my insurance multiple times my insurance called and radiology place called asking me to speak to my doctor for them to follow up. Over a month goes by and yet nothing from my doctor. So I call and I get Awilda on the phone. When asking for help and telling her how everyone needs to approval to come from the doctor she said we don't do that, laughed and gave me an attitude. She then proceeded to hang up on me. I couldn't believe this was a doctors office treating a patient asking for help like that. This was extremely childish behavior I don't understand how they hire people like that. They truely don't care about their patients to allow someone to treat people like that. They are supposed to be helpful and professional and at least do their jobs. Never had such horrible treatment from a doctors office. Now since I complained to the office manager they are referring me to a specialist. This is the 3rd specialist they are sending me to so I'm not really sure what they do in this practice. Will definitely be finding a different more professional and competent doctors office to go to. They don't care about their patients at all. Do not go waste your time with them. Very ghetto very unprofessional! read more

I first began working with this office through my provider in Williamsburg. I had been put on a year long allergy treatment where I pick up new coals every couple months. The first pick up I started working with a new allergist from this office, they forgot my vials. The second appointment they did not show up to. The third appointment my vials were forgotten again. A few months later, the office sent a different person to work with me and other patients. They didn't know anything about the vials I needed and brought the wrong months. Eventually my doctor's office let go of the allergists from this office due to the incompetence and disorganization. For the past two months I have been attempting to schedule appointments and having them get cancelled. Each time I call I am on hold for a minimum of 10 minutes. The people who I speak to have no idea who I am asking for and the person I've been working with is never available... I am going to attempt to get my last vials next week, hopefully my appointment does not get cancelled.. again. read more

Don't go here if you plan on doing anything else for the day. You spend more time in the waiting room than you do with the actually doctor. And forget about getting paperwork filled out for your kids school, you can only come one day in the week for that and you're going to spend all day here waiting and not to mention that there's a fee for that. On top of that if you think about showing up early be for for appointment good luck they will keep you waiting here until your appt time and sometimes even longer. Had a 2:30pm appt show up at one and didn't see the doctor until around 3:30pm. And if your looking for your results or a call from the doctor nope that's another appointment that's gonna take up your entire day. Will be switching doctors. read more

Iv been going to this company for my Dr. Appointments for a few years, and i really have no good reason for this outside it is covenant for me to get to. Service at this location has declined markedly in recent times. During the visit before it took multiple phone calls back and forth between a Pharmacy and the Doctors office to correct an error in a prescription. The latest screw up involved a referral to a Quest Diagnostics lab for routine blood work. Once arriving at the lab after taking time off from work and fasting all day it turns out the referral was never sent. I called the Jamaica office which I have been visiting for about 30 yrs I requested a Fax copy of the referral so I can start the appointment process with the lab all over again. Hours later no Fax. Another phone call later and the receptionist though polite and patient pawned this off on the Physician's Assistant who caused the error in the first place to get around to sending the fax......... in time. I am seriously thinking about going elsewhere. read more

This is for the 86-16/18 Jamaica Ave office. What a very rude receptionist (Leo). From the first time I was here to my 2nd (last and never again) visit. She's always looking very annoyed and tired, and treats you like you're such an inconvenient to her. Like u owe her a lot for being a patient there. She better resigned if she doesn't want her job. So many complaints about their staff. I think she's the worst. One of the nurses (blonde) was actually nice. They also charged me for coming to get my results as part of my general wellness check. Do I have a choice? When I clarified this receptionist acted like she doesn't have to explain it and told me if i don't want to pay, they can just send the bill to my house. What an a**! read more

This is not a good place to visit for a medical visit. Since I live right up the block I decided to go to my appointment early so I could get my blood work done while fasting from the previous day. I was waiting one and half hours and I was starting to get dizzy so I asked the receptionist how long before I could be seated, to which she replied 30 minutes more. I said ok, so I will go to eat something so I don't pass out. I come back and three more patients were seated before me. Finally, after two hours they seat me. The assistant takes my vitals and proceeded to tell me the doctor was "kinda picky." I picked up on the hint and I asked her "so the doctor said not to seat me down because I'm early?" She agreed and then said "but she's nice..." Bedside manners are nice, but I only care the doctor does her job right. So another patient arrives way after me and, again, the doctor saw him before me. I couldn't take such treatment anymore and I asked what the doctor's name was and the office manager. They will get an earful from me. I work in a medical office as well, and even though people are put on a schedule, it doesn't mean you have to follow it to the T. If a patient arrives early you take care of that patient, you don't have to make them wait until you feel ready enough to sit them down.
