Thanks to the "Big, Beautiful Bill", there was a $75 co-pay. I was led to the back where the nurse took my blood and checked my vitals. A few minutes later, the doctor came in. She said that I had an abnormal EKG, which is a sign that I had a silent heart attack or stroke. I was scared sh**. I thought that my time on Earth had come to an end. I thought about how my family and friends would feel if I left the planet Earth. I asked her if there was any medication that she could give me. She said no and that the only thing she could do is call an ambulance so I could go to the emergency room. Since an ambulance ride costs as much as a flight from New York to Paris, I told her not to call an ambulance. I summoned up all of my strength and headed to the emergency room via public transportation. After the nurse gave me multiple tests, the doctor determined that everything in my body was normal. The nurse gave me a Meclizine pill which alleviated my dizziness. The doctor wrote me a prescription for Meclizine. The only doctors who work at urgent care are med school students who were too dumb to become real doctors. I regret coming here and flushing $75 down the toilet. I'll give this location a 2 only because the receptionist was very nice.

Rather than appeal it and provide more information for the monitor, the doctor just said oh well we can give you a 24 hour one. I said ok but the problem is I am not having symptoms everyday so there is a good chance nothing will be picked up. She said "yea probably but insurance rejected the one you need." She didn't even make the attempt at getting it approved. I called the insurance company myself and they said they had requested more information from the doctor to approve it but she did not respond. PA Jeyisimi saw me for very low blood pressures in the Valley Stream Office. I asked her about medications to raise it since it was a constant low and making me dizzy and fall. She said there is nothing I can take and just go to the hospital. I said I am sure there is something I can take. She asked a doctor who also said there is no such thing. I went to the ER because my pressure was at a dangerous level. They sent me home with Midodrine, a medication specifically used to raise blood pressure. I will say, I disagree with most of the reviews about the front desk. I have not had anything but positive feedback to give. They have all been very pleasant and accommodating to me.

From what I have been told. You can only do it by appointment. However, i get here at my scheduled time and it is crowded. 1 person taking blood and as I wait, more and more people are coming in, expressing frustration due to the long wait times. This location unlike other Advantage Care locations seems understaffed and under prepared. The location doesnt appear on GPS correctly and will require assistance at times. I will not return here due to its inability to properly manage their appointments. Also, staff doesnt check on the people waiting. The courtesy of an explaination is not afforded to people waiting which causes more aggravation. If they just took the time to come out, say "im sorry, we are experiencing delays at this time", it would help, but they dont. I def wont be back here if I can avoid it.
