Their pricing was comparable to others, but the ability to visit their in-progress projects gave me confidence. I'm very very particular, and while no remodel is perfect, Creative worked to bring my vision to life. My advice: plan everything in detail beforehand--or hire a designer. To save costs, I handled all the design myself while working full-time, which was highly stressful. Having everything mapped out helps avoid delays, last-minute changes, or compromising on your vision. Golan and Jordan were fantastic--Golan handled planning and communication, and Jordan ensured everything stayed on track. They always responded to my texts in a reasonable amount of time. Their tile crew was exceptional (I often bumped into them because they worked long hours and weekends to complete my home and were really nice and respectful people), and they tiled nearly my entire house beautifully (we're talking 2000 sq ft of flooring, 3 bathrooms, and a fireplace). I appreciated that Creative didn't nickel and dime me for small changes, and when a gas leak was discovered (due to careless cabinetry work), they fixed it--and more (we found more leaks during the repairs)--without extra charges. Despite delays beyond their control, they completed the full renovation in about six months--from pulling permits to final inspection. Major work included a new kitchen, three bathrooms, tile flooring throughout, interior paint, a new electrical panel, and whole-house LED recessed lighting. Even after the job was done, they returned to fix small issues without hesitation. That kind of follow-up is rare in a world full of disappearing contractors. I would recommend Creative for any remodeling project, big or small.

We are extremely happy with the end result and feel the costs were reasonable. After the fires they did another coat of paint for free to help with the smell of smoke. I recommend this company.

This community recently had a grand opening this past weekend. This project is going to consist of…read moreover 1000 single family homes and is anticipated to take over five years to complete building out all of the communities in full. The good news, however, is that you can purchase a home in this community, and be one of the early-adopters starting now! (this also means getting in at the introductory rates, as pricing goes up every phase release due to increased demand and improved market comparables). This is a No HOA community. They have it segregated into four different neighborhoods/communities within the plan: - Magnolia - Lilac - Lavender - Jasmine Every type of neighborhood/community has different style type of homes as well as size options. All in all, they will have options available from 1705 sq. ft all the way up to 3688 sq. ft homes. All four communities are immediately available for touring within their model home units. This is located near the Shady Trails area of Fontana - so if you are looking to buy here, you can be assured that the area is one that is much nicer, upscale, and family-oriented compared to other parts of Fontana. You'll also be very close to Fontana Park, and the Summit shopping plaza (Falcon Ridge Town Center). I like to call it an extension of Rancho Cucamonga -- truly family oriented, with parks, great schools, and clean neighborhoods. Not to mention, less than a 10 minute drive away from Victoria Gardens! If you are buying from Lennar, they will require that you get pre-qualified through their in-house lender called Eagle Home Mortgage. This is a requirement for everyone and anyone, even if you do not choose to use their lender to finalize the transaction. This will basically sift through the window shoppers and make sure that anyone who is qualified to reserve a home is truly qualified. Once you have been pre-qualified with their lender, you will be added to a "VIP List" and you will be e-mailed with a date and time whenever there is the next phase release. They typically do the sales in "phases" of around 12-15 homes per phase release. From there, you pick out your desired home lot (first come, first serve on the VIP list), and make a $7000 deposit to secure the home, or you choose to "defer" to the next phase if your desired home plan is not available within that phase release. FYI pricing goes up every phase for the reason I explained above, so it is advised to keep the deferrals to a minimal. Fontana is growing rapidly, and market comparable's in the area will only continue to rise especially with the new construction that is going on. Please note that a loan over $453,100 anywhere within San Bernardino County is considered a "jumbo loan" - and has a bit stricter qualifying guidelines. Things that lenders look for is a low debt to income ratio (under 43% IIRC), stable job history of 2+ years, no negative remarks on credit history, and of course an excellent credit scores. And for first time home buyers who aren't aware - you can avoid PMI (private mortgage insurance) if you do at least 20% down payment. If this is not possible - no worries, you can always get rid of PMI later by paying down your principal whenever possible. After you finalize your purchase documents and have selected your home site, you will be contacted two weeks later by a design center called Vintage Design in Corona, where you will pick out your desired cabinets, countertops, flooring, etc. There are basic/free options available which come included with the home, or upgrades available for those who prefer it. I personally have always gone basic, and then upgraded everything myself prior to moving in by hiring my own contractors (also turns out to be much more affordable this way). However, for those who are more pressed on time to move in, or do not wish to deal with the inconvenience, you can choose to upgrade through Vintage Design and roll up to $10,000 of the upgrades into your mortgage payment IF desired (though keep in mind if you roll in any upgrades into your sale amount, it will increase the property taxes you get assessed at). Having purchased two homes from Lennar in two different communities, I can confidently say that Lennar is a decent and quality home builder. Their warranty and post-sale support is also very good, and they're a publicly traded company as well, so you can be assured there's no funny business or tricks.

Bought the residence four plan (5 bed, 3 bath, 3.4k sq ft) and it'll be finished in April 2019 as it's new construction. My current house, which I purchased within the Lennar Celebration Park community in 2017 (on Baseline and Sierra), is where I presently live. Next year, I will be renting that place out when my new Shady Trails home is ready, and keeping on to the Celebration Park one as an investment property. Fontana is growing at a rapid pace, and plenty of new development going on always! My decisions to move to Shady Trails community were due to several reasons, namely 1) gated community 2) much more nicer & upscale area/surroundings and 3) HOA and amenities! Plus, now I'll have a much bigger home :) Side note: A lot of people, from what I've seen, tend to get attracted to "no HOA" or feel like they are paying money for nothing, etc - but I can tell you from experience, its just not worth it. I have first hand experience. Buying @ Celebration Park (no HOA community) has turned out to not be worth it at all! I'd rather pay for HOA in exchange for knowing my neighbors are forced to take care of their landscaping, cannot park trailers on the street, cannot park excess cars on street, etc. Overall neighborhood look makes an impact on your attitude! Take care of your environment. That said, Lennar as a builder has always been a very quality and good builder. I've previous bought my first house back in 2015 in Upland with a builder called Frontier Communities, and Lennar is 10 times better with their quality, what they include, and their after-sale support. My first experience with Lennar at Celebration Park was a good one, so I did not hesitate to buy again at Laurel Oaks (shady trails). Pete was an awesome and good guy to work with, he's the main guy dealer with the sales and paperwork at this community. He's been with Lennar for over 10 years (yes, even before the economy crash) - so he's very seasoned and definitely knows what he's doing. He's always been quick to answer any questions I had. Lennar has an in-house lender called Eagle Home Mortgage. If you buy from here and use their lender, you get $7000 incentive towards closing costs. I'd advice shop and compare, and see what makes most sense for your situation. Their rates aren't bad though! So without further ado, here's some pictures of my new home @ Lennar Shady Trails! (Model home pictures, and the dirt is my future home site, which will be ready in April 2019)

Upon hubby saying we were interested in working with his company, we were visited late that same day by project manager Omer (aka David.) Upon entering our home, Omer (David) was friendly, professional, and clearly explained the building process to us. After walking around our backyard space and taking measurements, we requested have a walkway built from our driveway to the backyard using stone pavers, gravel and plants for our sloped backyard, and something to be done with our spacious side backyard. We appreciated that Omer (David) shared our excitement about our backyard project and was very responsive regarding any questions or concerns we had regarding our backyard project and responded promptly to our text messages. We were excited and surprised when construction began the next day and were impressed by how quickly the construction team took care of weeds which plagued hubby for months. Whenever told Omer (David) In times that Omer (David) was unavailable, he sent his assistant Moses to physically come and provide status updates on our backyard project. After a full week of work by Omer's construction team, our backyard project has been completed and we are elated over the final result. We would definitely work with Omer (David) and Moses again in the future and would also recommend Speciality Builders Inc to anyone looking to beautify their backyard space.

He walked us through the process and everything involved to have my backyard done. The quote came out to roughly $23,000 for basic pavers and turf. While it seemed pricey they assured us everything that has to be filed to the HOA would be handled by them. My HOA required all new construction homes to have their backyards completed within a year of purchase and they assured me that they would handle the procedural processes to have all work approved and filed with the HOA. This took place in November of 2024, now in February of 2026 I am being held to a violation for no notice of completion by my HOA and must attend a hearing for not giving notice of completion. They are not even aware of the work that was done. Ron's partner (I think the name is Tyler) was the one that I provided all the necessary documents to. They alleged that they had a partnership as a preferred contractor with my HOA and everything would be done smoothly. Clearly this was at least incompetence or at worst dishonest business practices taking advantage of young new homeowners who had just started a family. They also assured me that the first three months of payments would be covered and that I would receive a check for it and I never did, when asked by me following up I was ghosted. Additionally the work was not up to the "high standards" they stated. When I was called by the office to give my approval upon completion I pointed out several items that caught my attention and was told by them that I have to say yes because it is easier for them to fix any issues through the warranty process, they were upset about my call as well and prompted an in person visit by them. We are both two full time professionals with a two year old so the issues fell on the back burner because we were just happy to have a landscaped backyard for our son to play in and celebrate his 1st birthday the next month rather than dirt. The main reason we chose this company was because they assured us they would remove the barriers of the HOA by handling it themselves, we feel cheated and lied to and has left us in a terrible position. If we had known that they were not preferred partners with our HOA we would have never done any work with them. Which why I am sure they brought it up in the first place. 10/10 would never work with this company again if I won't have to and would never recommend it to anyone else as they are clearly not fans of honest business practices.

We can barely contain the joy we feel when we go into our new music retreat and think about just how HartmanBaldwin made in all come together. This is our last house, and if I had tried to manage this myself the end result would have paled in comparison to what they helped us to create. Everyone who goes through a remodel talks about how bad it is, how they wanted to cry, or even get a divorce. Hiring Bill Baldwin and his staff changes that dynamic completely to meetings where you talk about CREATION. A perfect example was a niche for an autographed guitar that I own. Imagine three designers talking about how to "honor" it and exploring lighting options for an hour. My wife and I could go on and on about the details I never would have thought of. The workers are an extension of that. They spent days making sure the drywall finish was flawless, as was the paint. Derrick who was in charge the electrical gets it. He understands that lighting is everything. Everyone from Reg the Project Manager to Myranda the decorator and Sarah the architect went beyond to make this something that was fun instead of something to suffer through. I'm a business owner and my time is precious. Letting go of it to turn it over to detailed professionals that CARE was a smart business decision for me. It gave us peace, but more important was the end product. In the town I live in many people know HartmanBaldwin is the best, and we can now attest to it too.

Had a very bad, frustrating experience with this company. I received an email invitation to attend a home remodeling workshop from 6:30 to 8:30 pm on 8/10/17 at 300 S. Raymond Ave. Suite 18, Pasadena. I talked to someone at the office to register this Monday. Also, she left a voice message to confirm the workshop a couple of days ago. I went there at 6:29 pm. I walked to the office and read the sign "enter through a main entrance on the parking lot", which I did. The entrance was locked. I called the office through the intercom and no one answered. I called the office at 626-486-0510. Got the voice message that their business hours is over. Of course it was over at 6:30! I was extremely disappointed and frustrated with the way this company invited me to a workshop that they wouldn't provide at Thursday evening. If you plan to attend the home remodeling workshop offered by this company, you know what to expect! You wouldn't even be allowed to their office. Good luck on your home remodeling!!!
