I too, had a terrible experience with Lendistry. I had issues with their website, and customer service regarding a Microbusiness Grant via LA County. I applied via their website and had multiple error messages that read "This was not expected. We are sorry about this. Please call our Dedicated Call Center at 866-238-0516." I called and was on hold for 1 hour and 27 minutes only to be told at 6:53pm that their call center was now closed (they're open 7am-7pm) - this was after uploading confidential information and connecting Lendistry to my bank account. I called back today and was told by Laquisha that there is nothing they can do, that I cannot speak with a supervisor, then she hung up on me. Very unprofessional. Dealing with Lendistry was an awful experience from every angle. read more

Awful experience! County grant is utilizing the services of lendistry to process grants. Lendistry asks grantees to fill in all personal info and company info. Once that is completed there is no way I could access the portal to upload non-profit documents needed to qualify for the grant. Called them several times and they have inexperienced employees who give you a run around. Wonder where all the grant funds will go ???? read more

Terrible experience using lendistry. Two years ago I used them for a loan via Amazon and they were great! Since then I applied for a second loan customer service sucks, they state they will email you or contact you and never do. I emailed Kate K the manager as she replied to all negative reviews have yet to hear from her. It's all for show to do damage control form the overwhelming amount of bad experiences from customers. I applied for the Los Angeles county grant and got two different emails saying my company wasn't eligible followed up each time with another email saying sorry that wasn't for you. After 9months finally got an email saying that I'm not getting it that my part of la county wasn't as in need. The service is terrible, nobody knows what's going on or even cares. What a waste of time. Pick a different company to handle grants. We really needed the grant. read more

Lendistry is the worst grant management company and bullies small businesses.  They were the selected to be the grant administrator for California's Small Business Relief Grant.  Their system to apply and submit the application was wonky and had frustrating buttons that didn't work.  Calling and contacting their customer service was a terrible experience. While their front line call folks were friendly, there is zero escalation process. Our grant application was in review for months.  I called to follow up to get help and the staff could not help me.  I asked to speak to a supervisor but was told they weren't allowed to escalate a call.  Told me to wait for my email.  Waited and followed up weekly for 3 months. Ended up having to contact California Office of the Small Business Advocate (CalOSBA) for help, even though they didn't have any relationship or management of the grant.   When our issue was "escalated" they gave me a person to work with who kept asking for our 2019 tax return.  She kept tellling me it was wrong because of the date of the tax return form.  Couldn't understand Fiscal Years and the proper forms.  Kept telling me to change the form's date for an IRS accepted tax filing.  Sent her the following year's tax filings that only covered 3 months of business operations and that was accepted because the form year in the corner was what she was looking for and not the date of operation.   I will be filing this review with other agencies as well.  I have worked with countless grant agencies and this one is the absolute worst. read more

I am reporting this company and in order to prevent this from happening again at such an extend I will have to express my concerns since this company misused government funds that were supposed to be deposited to awarded applicants. On June 02 after my communication with Ms D she assured me that I do not need to provide any other paper in the portal and that the 15000K awarded funds were processed for funding through California from the Hearts lender. On June 10th after I noticed that the message (at the lender's portal) has changed from pending funding to Funded or smth like this, I called lendistry. After communicating with Sr Ch, surprisingly as it may seems he laughed mocking me being extremely rude and using a totally inappropriate language. All I needed to find out was the status of the funding and I point that out that this is unacceptable behavior using bullying behavior as a passive aggressive tactic just with intention to avoid the deposit of my entitled funds. Despite this retaliation he also did not disclose who is the general manager of lendistry but instead he lost his words when I requested this info. On June 14, I called again to inform that I will provide all the information as I documented everything and another worker was actually able to communicate without verbal attacks and deceiving announcements and he looked into the matter. He was trying to be helpful escalating the case as he mentioned but he got hired recently and therefore nothing happened. California from the hearts was the lendistry's partner that was supposed to distribute the funds. At this point, particularly because it's my obligation to report these incidents including the laughter and the mocking comments of the worker Sr CH. My lawyer will file a separate lawsuit for him because I am reading from so many people reviews that have been discriminated from Lendistry to the extend. Also the intentional lack of knowledge when I questioned him who is in charge of lendistry his silence showed nothing but fear and nothing else. I will formally present evidence as well as witnesses and I hope the audit will have names of the awarded applicants next to "unclaimed funds". I have not received the funding because as we speak lendistry keeps it. They also claimed that they could not open my application but after mentioning my attorney they went through the portal seeing that everything was accurate and complete. Despite that no one communicated with me. Bullying, misleading and misuse of funds from lendistry will not be tolerated. Thus my statements will reach the Governor's Office that the chief officer assigned for these matters will investigate. Governor's Office actually is encouraging to report any similar events and it's also my obligation to speak out the facts based on concrete evidence and thousands from what I can see reviews of awarded applicants that their funds never made it in their banks . Lendistry is showing in social media that has A Plus rating from the BBB Please visit the Better Bureau Business website and you will see how many reviews, complaints, lawsuits and a score of 0.9 or something like this. Quick update. They ended giving us the funds in May 2023. It was a long process but it did get done.

They made the grant happened and I really appreciated how they go beyond and above to make sure all the information was correct. I almost gave up since all the email before kept said I am on the watchlist so when I got the email I was like it's for real...thank you Lendistry Team for coming thru for me and my business. This place has to be a scam! I filed for the business Covid grant on the first day it was open. No updates, no nothing!! I finally got a hold of a live body on the phone and this guy was basically like talking to a zombie on downers. He just said it's being worked on and to keep waiting. The Online portal now just says we're on the waitlist. Wait... They've had several rounds for the application process, we were in Day 1!! How the $&@& do we get waitlisted?!?! And for the occasional 5 star reviews that are being given about "how great" this place was, please post your business name with your post!! I mean if these guys are so awesome and processed our grant at light speed, I would not hesitate to share those details and give them a plug on behalf of the company. I had been finally offered the grant and did everything that was needed from me from day 1 if being told of what I needed to do. The docusign then said that everything was done on my end and to wait 5 to 7 business days and maybe 5 more days for bank to process. That was back at July 1st. Three weeks later and 3 emails later asking for an update, no reply. I called in and talked to customer service and they said that the loan person hasn't even touched my app yet to certify and he has no other way to help. Just call back later. No contact email for the loan person assigned to my case either. I'm now really disheartened that I may never get help from them. Too bad they are the only ones that can help with this California grant. read more

Applied for the California small business relief grant. My application mysteriously disappeared the day before it was due. I had to create a new login just to restart the process. I was never informed that I didn't get the first round of funding. Had to call them and was told that I was automatically entered in the second round of funding. Still no notification as to what is really going on with the funding process. The application questions seemed pretty skewed. I'd like to know who, if anybody, actually got money. Shouldn't this be public record since its our tax dollars being spent? Why did the state of California pick such an incompetent company to handle $500 million worth of applications? read more

I'm self-employed and applied for a First Draw PPP Loan on Feb 28 and received this e-mail 3 days after applying: "Thank you for your interest in an SBA PPP loan through Lendistry. We tried contacting you to request additional information, however, we have not heard back from you. We assume that you are no longer interested in the PPP loan or you have applied through another institution. Your application will be withdrawn in 24 hours. Please provide all pending items if you are still interested in proceeding with Lendistry for a PPP loan." Why would the Lendistry Rep who has been assisting me with submitting the required documents and banking info on Mar 2, and Mar 1 withdraw my application today? I called (888)594-7270 to confirm it was withdrawn and it was. She could not give me any specific reason. I regret uploading the required financial documents and banking info to the Lendistry Portal. read more

I don't know about all of you but this company is a joke...I applied for the suppose grant on January and I've been put on the WAITLIST FOR THE 3RD TIME.  Do they have anyone working and processing these grants.   People the reviews are from friend or even employees that work there.  I would love to see a list of the businesses that have gotten the grant. On February 17th, Governor Newsom and Leadership of the California State Legislature announced an Agreement to allocate more funds to the CA Small Business COVID-19 Relief Grant program. Pending final legislative approval of this additional program funding, your application has been waitlisted......AGAIN THIRD TIME. We appreciate your patience as we wait for more details. No further action is needed from you at this time, but please be sure to monitor your email for critical updates. Please watch your email for updates, what updates? Very clear communication and straight forward process however, it took VERY long time to be funded almost 6 months and meanwhile my business slowing down due to pandemic effect and even after they received all the documents received they still one more, one more and one more at the end and it was very cumbersome because some of the documents were already submitted and they still want it again without checking existing docs. I wasn't thrilled with their process. I'm thankful for the little money I did receive as a small business owner, but the communication was awful. Once I told I was funded, I didn't hear back from my advocate for weeks. My funding didn't come in until 3 months after it was approved so not sure what the hold up was all about. I agree with Daniel B.'s statement that some businesses showed more of a loss than others and should have received more than the base of 5000K. I finally received word from someone from Lendistry that the funding was coming and it was an error on their end. However, there needs to be a direct line to call so we can talk to a live person about any customer service needs. That would be the right thing to do and to put into place, especially when it comes to handling grants of this size. read more

At the same time, Chase was delayed. I decided to go with the smaller Lendistry. Wow, what an amazing experience. The team at Lendistry go above and beyond to service their customers. I dealt with many people all the way up to the CEO. They conducted themselves quickly, professionally, and thoroughly.
