Finding a house in Austin was not easy but Brandon was there from the start to patiently answer questions, run numbers, give advice, discuss creative strategies to allocate funds, talk to our agent, and honestly keep our spirits up as the landscape continuously changed. After considering other lenders, the fact Brandon and the team were local, had knowledge of the neighborhoods we were looking at made a difference. It took us more than 2 years and never an eyelash batted when we went went dark in the moments we ran out of steam, when we popped back up late on a Saturday or got discouraged by the roller coaster market. A big thank you to Chris who also did a lot of leg work for us during house hunting and was right there with us when we needed information fast. Brandon genuinely had our back throughout the process and even at the 11th hour when we came back with a competitor's loan, he displayed the same professionalism and warmth. He talked us through line by line and never applied pressure or scare tactics, something I felt particularly grateful for considering the buying process is stressful enough and all we wanted was peace of mind we weren't spending more money than we had to (spoiler alert: we weren't.) When it came to go-time and executing our offer(s), the process couldn't have been smoother. Both of the agents were pleasantly surprised by the efficiency of LendFriend's team. Shout out to Drew, Samantha, and Crystal for making that piece so easy, we even closed early! Lastly, I appreciated LendFriend's phone app which I used heavily to calculate costs in real time while looking at properties (much more accurate than the house search apps) as well as manage our loan throughout the different checkpoints. It may sound cheesy but after two years of working with Brandon, I feel like we made a friend who is committed to our ongoing success. There's no doubt we will return to LendFriend when we look to refinance or purchase another property. And we've already recommended them to others on the house-buying journey. They worked EXTREMELY quickly to expedite my approval process to ensure I had a pre-approval letter ready to go in short order so I could make an offer. I was a first time home buyer, and as you can imagine I had no idea what the process was going to look like. In todays market, some might even call me crazy for entertaining the thought. The team at LendFriend did a great job from start to finish. They helped educate me on every single step, and no question was a dumb question for them. It felt like I had 24 hour on the clock service. Someone was ALWAYS available to help, literally! I would like to give special shoutouts to Mike, Kevin, Caroline, And Chelsea. They do a great job of working as a team to make sure I understood and knew what each step in the process entails. They are problem solvers, and took on each challenge in my process. Our team was phenomenal-excellent communicators, always quick to answer questions, very attentive and down to earth!
