My husband finally had a chance to visit Epic Universe during our trip out to Orlando. We did stop inside the Nintendo World a few times during our Epic Universe day trip. One of our last stops before leaving the theme park was visiting Bubbly Barrel. There was a line, but the wait time wasn't too bad, around 15 minutes. The Crush float includes banana pineapple soft serve float with the pineapple soda, waffle bowl, sprinkles, toffee pieces and caramel popcorn. The nice thing was that it wasn't served in the souvenir DK mug so we didn't have to clean it afterwards. I actually enjoyed the crush float. I'm a big fan of pineapples and it was a great dessert. I did share it with my husband though as we walked around the theme park! If you're a fan of the Donkey Kong video games, I'd recommend stopping inside the themed area. It's so much fun!

In the late evening, I wanted a snack and stopped by to get a cup of fresh fruit. In the mornings, I stopped by for my energy drink and banana. I didn't get anything from their kitchen, but some of the guests said their soup and sandwiches were very good. The customer service is lacking, and I did not include them in my five stars. The morning staff was a bit better than the evening. The evening staff had the attitude of "just doing their job"; when it came to being warm and friendly, they were very dry. This ended up as one of those super convenient locations that really delivered way beyond my expectations as a hotel quick service café. The layout is a hybrid of a grab and go market and a casual café. Coffee, pastries, snacks, sandwiches, pizza, breakfast bowls, and other quick grabs with many options prior to going off to the parks or after a long day at Disney. I did see this area was very busy especially during morning hours, however, the lines were moving much quicker than I would have thought! The thing that really jumped out at me was how much better the quality of the food was compared to your average hotel convenience store. Many of their menu items are made fresh to order and there seemed to be quite an assortment of items to choose from as well! It's the type of location where you can quickly get something and feel like you're getting something satisfying rather than grabbing something from a vending machine! One of the trips inside Citrus 28, I ended up getting their Philly Cheesesteak! It was delicious! It had plenty of beef and cheese. The bread was a sesame bun! It was great for a quick meal. One of the other evenings, we got some ice cream from Citrus 28! I thought Citrus 28 was a solid option if you're staying at Buena Vista Palace or nearby. It's quick, convenient, and surprisingly good for hotel dining. Definitely one of those places that makes early mornings or late evenings easier if you're looking for snacks or food!

They don't serve many different things and they are quick to pump everything out. The popcorn machines are epic decorations with glowing embers underneath to emulate the kettle and ambiance of Batuu.
