Not recommend. Came here for a smog check, nobody in the shop, a guy from a repair shop told me ring the bell. After 4-5 times rang the bell, the same guy in the repair shop came in and did the paperwork. The car failed first time then I realized the gas cap was loose, I asked him could I have a second test for free because some other smog check they offer it,but he said no. I agreed paying for he checked it second time, he kept asking me did I do something with the car with bad attitude. That was a very bad experience. One more thing the price here is higher than the other places. read more

Wow! So, in moving from out of state as a military family, we've had to run the gamut on trying to get our cars registered. Really glad my husband and I went here. The owners are super friendly, very knowledgeable, and aren't trying to screw anyone over. It's not a smog check like I'm used to in Colorado, but I felt totally at ease. My car is a 2017, but in order to get it CA registered I still needed a smog. My husband's car had an illegal (via CA) air intake in it, and had to fix it. A few days later he went in again and got it retested and passed. Definitely suggest them! In and out within 20 minutes. Good people. read more

I had a really great experience here!! I was nervous trying to find someone open during the COVID pandemic and was very excited to hear they were open. Then I was hesitant about whether I had to worry about how they were doing as far as preventing the spread of the virus. I was happy to see that they were practicing safe distancing and such. It was my first time getting a smog test. The guy working (I didn't catch his name) was happy to help me and didn't make my presence feel like nuisance at all, unlike other car shops I've been to. I have been going to see Duy since he opened. 18 years ago, I went to a gas station to get a smog test, in La Mesa on the corner of Baltimore Dr and Parkway Dr and that station tried to milk me for hundreds of dollars in repairs on a completely stock car (no modifications) with only 38,000 miles on it. I went to Lemon Grove Test Only and Duy tested it within 20 minutes, no problems, vehicle passed. So, for the last 18 years I have brought all my vehicles for Duy to test. I was there 2 weeks ago; I believe it took Duy less than 15 minutes to complete the test, and I was on my way. Duy is friendly and knowledgeable, and is very careful with my cars. read more
