It's an absolute privilege to be the first customer to submit a review for All State Home…read moreImprovement Inc. I was in search of a roofing contractor for a few weeks and it was a stressful process, given it's a big ticket item for home improvement project. Fortunately, I received a recommendation from a trusted friend who also happens to be an architect. He owns two properties in The Bronx and hired All State Home Improvement for both jobs. This was 15 years ago and he still kept his business card handy. I contacted the company owner, Segundo, and received a call back the same day to schedule a site visit and preliminary assessment of the project. Segundo spent about an hour on the property and listened to what I wanted to do. He gave me several pricing options low, moderate, and higher-end that varied based on the quality of materials and other considerations. One thing that stood out about Segundo is his honesty about what needs to be addressed in project vs those items that were not a priority. For example, I was planning to replace 5 windows in my attic that would have cost thousands but he convinced me that it was unnecessary, saving me a significant amount of money. Their level of professional integrity was the main reason for choosing them for this investment. This massive job was completed in about 5 days, working from dawn to dusk each day. When they wrapped up the job, Segundo walked me around the property for a full inspection and explained every detail of the project. During final clean-up, the crew removed all debris from the premises, including any leftover wood, nails and staples. My neighbors were in absolute shock with how thorough they were with the work and clean-up...it's like they were never there. I have received dozens of compliments about my roof, and some neighbors expressed interest in using All State Home Improvement for their own homes. I would recommend this company 10x over, you won't regret it!

I recently had A1 Gutters and Roofing replace my roof, and I couldn't be happier with the results…read more I found them online and got quotes from six different contractors, but I didn't choose A1 because they were the cheapest -- I chose them because of their thoroughness and professionalism. Before starting the job, they conducted a detailed evaluation of the roof and did the same once the work was complete, to make sure everything was done right from start to finish. They also brought in a licensed electrician to properly disconnect and reinstall my solar panels, and thoroughly tested them afterward to confirm everything was working correctly. In addition to the roof, they rebuilt my chimney and installed beautiful new 6" gutters -- the whole property looks fantastic. What really stood out was how flexible and fair they were during negotiations. We worked together to agree on a contract that worked for both of us, including a 50-year extended material warranty and a 25-year workmanship warranty. On top of that, they went above and beyond and threw in an extra item as a gift, which I really wasn't expecting. A1 Gutters and Roofing is professional, skilled, and honest from start to finish. I highly recommend them -- give them a call; you won't be disappointed!

A1 Gutter and Roofing in Garfield, NJ is no exception. So too have we heard and, perhaps, experienced some dishonesty among this lot. So it is significant when one discovers a contractor who is legit, trustworthy, and highly professional. Having to replace an entire roof including structural repairs of its wooden beams, new insulation, and re-bricking of the upper portion of the chimney was a major undertaking. The entire project took two weeks. It's impossible to describe just how well this job was accomplished. Picture may do it some justice. Overall, this customer is pleased beyond measure. My home is basically surrounded by trees. I was requiring gutter cleaning about every other month…read moreso I decided to do something about it. I'd gone online and read numerous horror stories about companies that rip people off on gutter guards but I needed them desperately so I decided to bite the bullet. I called NJ Home Maintenance and scheduled an appointment for an appointment. A few short days later they arrived at the house for the estimate. They dropped off a few samples along with an explanation sheet explaining the benefits of each. I was rather surprised by the price which I consider to be more than fair. I hired them on the spot and could not be more pleased. The work performed, punctuality and communication were all without parallel. Speaking as someone who is very meticulous with the maintenance of their home, I can recommend them without reservation. Kudos much thanks.
