I have had many encounters dealing with the women that work in that library being rude, one example is when I needed to re checkout a book since I only had a few more days to read it. The lady at the desk didn't say a word to me snaches my library card and then concludes by stating "next time do it online" however I was also there for the computers. So why should I not go a head and checkout the book? She could of explained kindly there was a way to do so online however again I was there for the computers. After I proceeded to the computers and began to print a new lady approaches me saying "you need to not use these computers again and use the ones downstairs. I will let you finish this time." in a malicious, superior tone. So I said "okay thank you for so kindly telling me that information!" I have never been so humiliated in my life! Rude! How dare anyone speak to anyone in such a manor! People need to realize that their words can impact someone's day. You never know how someone might be feeling and it's important to take that into consideration before you starting being rude. Think before you speak.

When we moved here…read moreI needed to do some work and research and was glad to see this library close otherwise I'd have been driving to Jacksonville or Wilmington. It's fairly new or so it looks that way and inside the decor etc is very nice. They have little areas for reading, studying, computers, printers etc. However, please note that you will need a library card so if you don't have one get one. To make copies or print things off should you need to they charge a small fee which isn't much. They also have various functions here so be sure to ask the front desk.

I love our little small branch library. They have a section right when you walk in for the little…read moreones, and as a book lover, I am trying to get my daughter to appreciate and love reading just as much. Since they have all sorts of activities for her, going to the library has now been a weekly event for us. They also have a coloring section, computers with games on them, and a little reading nook. They also are fairly quick to get books in if they are out of stock or at another branch.
