I wasn't sure what to expect as I've been to one day rally's in the past and been very disappointed. This venue did not disappoint. There is a sportsman clubhouse which has a full bar, completely unexpected. There is plenty of parking, RV lots and a boat launch. There is plenty of areas for setting up chairs along the river and there are also picnic tables along the river. There were good food truck vendors for the rally. There were also quite a few cool vendors as well. This place seems it would be beautiful and relaxing in the summer. It was certainly beautiful in early spring.

I haven't been to what I'd call a real arcade since I was like 11, and I will absolutely say this place is a real arcade. It felt like I was stepping back into the places I went to in the '90s, and it was weirdly the most at home I've felt in years. The price was $20 for the whole day, and all the games activated by just hitting the start button. The cabinets are in impeccable condition, and the woman working there today was so chill and friendly. I'll be going back very, very frequently. Thanks back to the arcade for an experience I haven't had in over 20 years. You guys rule.

Iron Maiden's pinball game is a close second, though. If you're a Pac-Man fan, then you owe it to yourself to visit this place. They have a row of games from this series, including my favorite, Ms. Pac-Man. Also, a couple of Mortal Kombats, Q-Bert, NBA Jam, an air hockey table, a basketball game, a Skee-Ball, and hybrid basketball-Skee-Ball game. And the condition of the games is excellent; the owner and employees routinely wipe everything down. You don't feel like you're placing your hands on surface that's already been touched by a hundred others before the last cleaning. The rules of the road here are simple: 1. Admission is $4 for adults, $3 for children under 11/seniors over 60 along with all matinees and shows on Monday thru Thursday night. 2. Keep your ticket stub and take a peek over at the concession stand because they give away free popcorn every show based on ticket stub numbers. 3. Only one screen and the theatre is loooooong so it's best to sit towards the front as the sound is stronger coming from the front of the room. Also a slight quirk is that the theatre sits next to a very active set on Norfolk Southern tracks and more then likely once or twice during the show you will get some decent horn noise along with the floor and seats vibrating a bit if you are sitting on the side closest to the tracks. 4. Sit back and enjoy not being assaulted with thirty minutes of commercials and ads along with previews. The only thing here they preview is either for what they are showing next or the movie that they are showing on weekends/earlier in the night for families. So put down the iPad/iPhone/iPod/Nook/Kindle/Smart Phone/Dumb Phone and take a trip back to a simpler time when going to see a movie was about the movie and not about all the unnecessary bells and whistles on the periphery. Bar none when The Boyd in Bethlehem closed this place took over for best place to watch a movie in the LV.

Personally I am not a willing theatre goer but the lovely wife is 100% down on this type of stuff and over the years I've been drug to more shows than I can remember. Off the top of my head over the years we've seen: Blithe Spirit Shakespeare for Kids Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street Henry VIII The Two Noble Kinsmen The Merry Wives of Windsor The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) (Which is my favorite) There are more but as you see there are all of the Shakespeare classics done plus a good mix of musicals, dramas, kids shows and other works which are non-Shakespeare which make for a something for everyone approach which if you're into this type of thing appeals to a much broader spectrum of people. The season itself only lasts nine or ten weeks every June-August and ticket prices have gotten a bit steep in the fifty dollar per person range but no seat is a bad seat in either of the two spaces where the shows are put on and the sets, sound, lighting and acting are always first rate. There certainly might be nicer looking places to watch Shakespeare but I highly doubt you'll find a more talented group of people putting on the show.
