I had such a great time at this event! The food and atmosphere was superbthe team even threw me a ball! I'm super stoked! I have a bunch of pictures down belowThis was my first baseball game and it surely didn't disappoint!

I love FNB field, it is sooo cool! They have events, baseball games, and more! Also, they have fireworks!!! I recommend going here.

FNB Field is a great and economical way to enjoy professional baseball. The stadium is located on City Island in the middle of the Susquehanna River--one of the most scenic ballpark locales I've visited. The Senators are the class AA minor league affiliate of the Washington Nationals so it isn't uncommon to catch a promising new star or an major league player in town for a rehabilitation start. Ticket and food/drink prices are quite affordable for a date or family night out. I typically sit in the "club" seats near home plate, which include unlimited access to food and soft drinks served in the club space. The food selection (buffet) is usually a couple of entrees and always includes burgers, hot dogs, and popcorn. Beer (including some local craft brews) is available for an additional charge. Note that the ballpark is generally cashless once you are inside.

My review depends on whether or not you enjoy classic ballparks or modern parks. I was lucky enough to be a teenager when Camden Yards opened up and in my 20's when Citizen Bank opened. This park is more of a modern park with small concourses (I get it, it's on an island). The parking situation is ok but getting out is a nightmare. We had dinner before we came so I can't speak on the concessions but they have your normal stuff and then some specialty foods for the ballpark. They do have an extensive tap room in the outfield and you can get cocktails made under the first base stands. The ballpark is clean and the staff is very nice.

Damn, yet another fantastic experience on City Island with the Senators. Truly speaking, what's not to like here? Parking is only $5 and if you want to cheap out for a weekend game when the government is closed, you can always park for free downtown and walk across the Walnut Street Bridge. Overall the Senators do not draw well. We pimped for club seats same day and while fairly heavy in terms of pricing for minor league baseball, we had front row seats which are essentially closer to the plate than the pitcher is. If you do splurge for the pimp seats, it's an all you can feed buffet of dogs, burgers, popcorn, meatballs, pulled pork (surprisingly very good) and gnocchi (surprisingly very bad). I could be forgetting something but it's all also all you can drink soft drinks and adult libations are available for purchase but it's all can and nothing on tap. Note that the food stops at 8:30pm so get your feed on early and the booze stops in the 7th inning. Of course there are cheesy giveaways to Red Robin and I think a plumbing company but all of that is what makes coming to places like this fantastic. Oh right, the baseball. The Senators are perennially horrible and it's not hard to see why the parent company is right now arguably the worst team in MLB. Basically no offense the entire night between them and Akron along with an embarrassing combination of 27 K's between the two teams, 4 throwing errors, a wild pitch or two or a few calls by the 3B ump that had the crowd calling him Angel Hernandez for how bad they were. The one bright side was that Akron was down 1-0 in the top of the 9th and their 1B Micah Pries was sitting dead red on first pitch heat and hit one that probably landed in Carlisle. Absolute. Moon. Shot. Overall the prices are still decent enough, the stadium while basic has everything the average person would need for a fun night out at the park. Honestly the only worth changing here is I still say that they have the worst mascot in professional sports. What the hell is a Rascal and what does he really do here except look stupid? I digress.

I think this was the best minor league stadium I have visited. Beautiful park on City Island in Harrisburg, Pa (The Columbus, Ohio of Pennsylvania). A must visit if you're in the area.

Erica R.

Enjoyable minor league stadium for the Harrisburg Senators, the Double-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals. Minor league ballparks can really range in how built up and enjoyable vs. run down they are, and FNB Field is surprising in its attention to making a very walkable and inviting stadium with local flavor thrown in (local brews for craft beer night, etc). Plus, not every AA ballpark has a club space (some AAA stadiums don't even have them, it seems), so being able to enjoy the setup in the club at FNB Field was a bonus. That said, the variety of seating is great... tables with umbrellas, counter seats, bleachers, and regular seating in the stands... it's a great variety and offers options for everyone. Very clean stadium too. Also? Super helpful and welcoming staff here as well. Seems to also be plenty of parking available for a small price, though you can walk from downtown Harrisburg - there's a bridge that connects you to City Island for accessing the stadium and all. Beware of mayflies, of course, because the stadium is near the water. To avoid them, try not to sit near the more lit parts of the stadium during night games. TL;DR Nicer park than I expected, would certainly visit again.

Always the best seat in the House!

I have been going to The Harrisburg Senators for years! The atmosphere is always amazing and the staff are very well trained and the facility is always clean. Possibly upgrade the arena at some point?

Spectacular venue! Easy to park on the island for only $5. Concessions are reasonably priced. Views are great. Fun was had by all.

This is a really great minor league stadium. I paid a visit while in the area for business. It is a beautiful ballpark, in a very pretty setting along the riverside. The prices were also very reasonable. The concessions very very conventional, but the prices fair as well. I recommend this park for a nice night out at the ballgame!

One register open and a bunch of workers watching one person work.

Opening day. Parking is a joke. One line in. Food stands 10 workers standing around while one register is open and that person takes orders and gets the food. Come on Senators staff you can do better.

Stacie C.

There are a lot of things I really like about Metro Bank Park, home of the Harrisburg Senators. For example, the fact that it is literally on an island. And the fact that said island is walking distance from the city of Harrisburg is also a nice touch. The park itself is very family friendly and has many options to keep little ones occupied if they get bored with the game itself. However, this is where I have to deduct a star. It's almost too busy. So many food stands. So many activities for the kids. So much to distract from the game. Don't get me wrong, I like options, but I think Metro Bank Park goes a little overboard. The distractions didn't take me away from the game, though, and I was able to enjoy our dugout seats and some fine crowd interaction with Rascal the mascot. Attending an early afternoon game is recommended so you can leave your car on the island after the game and walk into the city.

Kimberly B.

Wonderful stadium for a minor league team. Lots of family friendly activities. The players will sign autographs for you and you can interact with them before and after the games. Not really a bad seat in the stadium. There are lots of food options so something for everyone. They even have funnel cake fries! Parking is $4 and the lots fill up quickly so plan a little extra time to get situated. There are other activities not associated with the baseball stadium that happen in this location, mini golf, train rides, etc. So that does bring additional traffic. You can walk here easily from downtown and they have a bridge that connects to and overpass near the stadium.

Beautiful field!

First off, parking is free, but not great. They have you park in a grassy area where you have to walk in the grass to the venue. The parking situation has poor flow when it comes to exiting the venue, so it took about an hour to leave. It's not well coordinated. I feel as though the venue itself also doesn't have much to offer. Lines for every food stall were crazy, and the offerings were underwhelming compared to other updated venues. It had the vibe of a carnival, rather than a venue. The vodka lemonade I ended up ordering was definitely not worth $26.... I'm used to these prices for concerts, but the drink wasn't particularly tasty or strong. We had seats in section 8, which was on the bleachers. As to be expected, the bleachers aren't very comfortable and there are no cupholders. I will say, the bleachers felt slightly more spacious than seating arrangements at other venues. From our view, the screens here looked really nice and sound quality was good. Overall though, I am never traveling two and a half hours again for a concert here again; not even for my favorite artist.

Season Ticket Holder Perspective (Section 104, Row C, Seats 1 & 2)…read more If you're going to do hockey in Hershey, you do it at the Giant Center and my seats (Section 104, Row C, 1 & 2) are chef's kiss for Hershey Bears games. Three rows off the ice means you feel every hit, hear every skate carve, and occasionally get a good "did-I-just-flinch-at-a-puck?" moment. And if you're lucky you might just get a puck! The view straight across the ice is fantastic. Now... the view down toward the far goal on the right? Yeah, no. The distortion from the glass is rough. It's like watching hockey through a funhouse mirror. You'll catch the general idea but don't expect crystal clarity unless the play comes back your way. Sound System for Bears Games: Let me be blunt... it's aggressively loud. Like "why am I being yelled at by speakers during warm-ups?" loud. If you're sensitive to sound, bring earplugs or prepare to be spiritually tackled by the decibel levels. Concerts: This is where the Giant Center gets unpredictable. Most concerts I've seen here suffer from rough acoustics... muddy sound, too much reverb, and vocals that disappear into a void. BUT Trans-Siberian Orchestra on 11/23/25? Shockingly great. Crisp, powerful, balanced. It was the rare show where the sound team actually tamed the concrete cavern. Parking: Oh boy. Getting in and out is a nightmare. It is chaos every single time. Too many lanes funneling into too few exits. Every event at Hershey Park, Hershey Stadium AND the Giant Center all fighting for the same roads. If you come here often, pack patience and maybe a snack for the car. Food & Concessions: Perfectly average venue fare, nothing amazing, definitely nothing healthy, and priced like it's made of truffles and hopes. You're paying for convenience and location, not culinary excellence. Overall: This is our local go-to venue, and I'll always show up for my Bears and the big touring acts. The energy is great, the games are a blast, and concerts can be magical when the sound behaves. But between the parking mess, inconsistent acoustics, and sensory-overload sound levels at games, it's far from perfect. Still... it's Hershey. It's home. And I'll be back in my same seats next week yelling for the Bears.

Spooky Nook Sports Complex in Spooky Nook PA is an impressive facility purely based on size alone…read more The complex is massive and at first glance it is hard not to be amazed by how much is packed into one location. There are countless courts fields and activity areas which makes it clear why this place attracts so many teams tournaments and large scale events. The variety of sports and amenities offered is a major positive. No matter what sport you are coming for there is a strong chance it is supported here. The layout allows for multiple games and events to run at the same time which is convenient for tournaments and families with kids participating in different activities. There are also food options and areas to sit which help when spending long days at the complex. That said the sheer size of the facility can also be a drawback. Navigating from one area to another can be overwhelming especially for first time visitors. Clearer signage and better wayfinding would make a big difference. It is easy to feel rushed or stressed trying to find the correct court or field on time particularly during busy weekends. Crowd management is another area that could use improvement. When events are in full swing the complex can feel extremely congested. Parking can be challenging and walking through crowded corridors with athletes spectators and equipment can become frustrating. The overall experience during peak hours feels chaotic rather than streamlined. The facility itself is functional but not always comfortable. Some areas feel worn and could benefit from better maintenance or updates especially considering the high volume of traffic the complex sees. Seating can be limited and not always ideal for spectators staying for extended periods of time. Overall Spooky Nook Sports Complex delivers on scale and opportunity but falls short in execution. It is an impressive venue with huge potential but the experience can feel overwhelming and tiring rather than enjoyable. With better organization improved navigation and attention to comfort it could easily earn a higher rating. For now it lands at a solid three stars.

This is basically where all the major arena shows that come to the area play. I would recommend dining before arriving, as the area surrounding the arena has more than enough options. Parking is now $20 but the lot has been fully paved. Security is nothing unusual and included metal detectors but is not overbearing. Everything in the interior is located in one central hallway, so you really can't get lost, but it gets crowded. Food options are somewhat basic but underwhelming. The pretzel I ordered was terrible as it was hard, over salted, and possibly stale. The Pepsi Zero was watered down. Generally, even the cheap seats here are not bad in terms of view. The seats are not the widest, but there's a decent amount of legroom. The sound system still leaves a lot to be desired depending on the show. Getting out of the parking lot can be challenging if traffic control is not on their game, so anticipate delays when leaving. Overall, with the other options for major arena shows being Allentown, Reading, or Hershey, the Mohegan Sun Arena At Casey Plaza is good enough and will get the job done if you need to attend an arena show.
