Came for a ballgame with tickets from my employer. Parking was good but not well marked. Staff that we asked questions of was very friendly and helpful. Typical expensive ballpark fair. $4 hotdogs. $11 chili cheese fries, etc. was a bit disappointed they did not have any popcorn. There is an all you can eat bbq for $28 pregame for 2 hours. Looked good - we might try it next time. Plenty of craft brews available. Large children's play area with carousel and mini bounce house. Nice day out with the family in Lancaster city.

On vacation in the area & took my 9 year old son to a game. Couldn't have been nicer. Great stadium, great seats, game was fun & the walking tacos were amazing. Wish I lived closer, I would go once a week! Nice affordable family event

You're quite limited with choices for evening entertainment when out in Lancaster, PA, but they are home to a baseball team. The Lancaster Barnstormers call Clipper Magazine Stadium home. While they are not a minor league affiliate, they do have some sort of MLB affiliation. They have all the entertainment and concessions bells & whistles other minor league ballparks have. Concessions were overpriced and pretty low in quality. There is a lively tented patio area in right field. A first for me - there is a carousel out in left field near the lawn seating. How's that for some family friendly charm? Ticket pricing is in line with other regional minor league ballparks and parking is free in the lots adjacent to the stadium. While the overall experience was nothing to write home about, the stadium has the solid foundation for a fun night out to experience America's national pastime.

Pretty easy to get to and get parked, you will need to walk a bit to the gates. I noticed they have 4 gates but 2 of them are only for season tic holders & sky box so everyone else had to cram into 2 gates. Once inside there were a couple of concessions and a store to buy merchandise. Long lines on this visit, so best bet is to get there early and get your food, drink or risk missing the action waiting in line. Beer station at the end of the concourse with some diff options $6-$8 a cup. As for the food options burgers, hot dogs, chicken, snacks, sodas, ice cream it can add up! The game was good lots of action, independent league. Only complaints was the lines that could have been handled a bit better, no soap in the bathroom I used, light staff.

This stadium is the perfect size, no lines or crowds. My family and I all went to a baseball game here. Some of us bought stadium seats and some of us bought lawn seating but we all ended up sitting on the lawn. It was so close to the field, you could actually see the players faces - so much more comfortable than being cramped in a seat next to a stranger. The best part was that right behind the lawn is a playground that included a large bouncy slide and carousel for the kids. Oh wait, that wasn't the best part, the best part was that after the game they had a fireworks display that was breath taking, better than the huge one that we saw on the Fourth of July. I think I may like minor league games more than major league.

This review is based off our experience at the Christmas Spirit Light Show Held at Clipper Stadium during the holiday season 2018: Through a Facebook event (you gotta love them!) we discovered they were giving wagon rides through the Christmas lights at the Stadium for $10 a person. We just happened to be dining nearby with two of our grandkids so the timely was perfect. However the weather was not with on and off rain, and the wagon rides were ultimately canceled. We figured we'd drive over there anyway to see what else they offered. Heading south towards town from North Prince Street we saw the sign for the Christmas light show at one of the entrances and were ready to pull in. Thankfully the guy in front of us ended up being the Guinea pig as that entrance was closed off, something you couldn't see from the street. Don't make this mistake as it's hard to pull back out. Instead use the main entrance a little further down. The light show was $25/car - something we didn't know going in. Had we known we might have reconsidered, however we were already there and our girls were excited. I reminded myself that the cost was less than we would have spent on the wagon ride had it been operational. We tuned in to the radio station required to hear the music that the lights are synchronized to and proceeded through. While the girls enjoyed the experience I thought it was rather lame and expected more at this price point, especially since last year the Neffsville Park had a similar but spectacular light show for less. I guess one of my biggest issues was it wasn't unique and the music did very little to enhance the experience. The music chosen wasn't the best choice for a dramatic light show. I would have loved to hear Carol of the Bells or a tune similarly dramatic but instead basic holiday jingles were played. I've seen better Christmas lights at a residential display. Driving through took us less than 10 minutes at a pace of about 5 miles per hour. The course itself is very curvaceous and some of the turns very sharp. We were in my midsize sedan thankfully as I couldn't see us making those tight turns in hubby's giant SUV. A few times we were confused at which way to go as the course wasn't prominent especially on a dark and wet evening. Thankfully our ticket also included access to the activities inside as there's a separate entrance fee for that. Signage again on how to actually enter the interior of the stadium was lacking. We were told inside was full of different activities for the kids, as well as many decorated trees you can pay to vote on for charity. There were also a few small ice sculptures, a small ice slide, and several photo prop areas. Santa was there as well. A few of the ideas were really cute. There was a letter writing station and mailbox to send your wish list to Santa. The trees were each decorated and sponsored by a local business. Tickets to vote were $1 each and benefited the charity of that business's choice. The Grinch and the Nightmare before Christmas were our favorites. We saw Anna from Frozen but our girls were confused why Elsa wasn't there and any parent of a Frozen fan will tell you that made no sense to have one princess and not the other. Silo walked around and took pictures. At one point Mrs. Claus came and whisked us upstairs to a private skybox which by far was the highlight of this entire experience. There she read two books to our toddler girls, totally in character and just for them. She was wonderful and played that role perfectly. While upstairs in the warmth we also sat and relaxed while they colored and drew. The entire time we were up there (which was probably about 30-40 minutes) our children were their sole focus and no other children came up. We were told crafts and games were available in a heated tent which we did find but they were disappointing. The nickel and dime ticket fee to play the makeshift carnival games didn't warrant the price we paid already + the additional cost. We would have paid for the face painting had the line not been so long. Santa was also up there but pictures with him cost a whopping $8 each and you couldn't even enter the area if you had your cell phone out. Overall I hope this entire event was charity driven because if not they're overcharging just to bank it themselves. If you do go save the ice slide for last and because your child will be wet and cold. This advice came from Mrs. Claus herself and I'm glad we listened as their little bottoms were a wet mess! Children over the age of 5 won't be impressed by any of the activities offered and mom and dad will leave with an empty wallet. While the stadium also offers other events year round this will be our only time visiting the holiday light show.

Great ballpark! But food service and the LINES are way too long for the prices they charge! Minor league in every way - too bad! Otherwise, it's a great venue.

Loved this place! Tickets are cheap, food & drinks pricey like any stadium but the games make for a very cool inexpensive outing if you keep food and drink purchases to minimum.

Fun times in Lancaster. The tickets are cheap too and in the winter the field turns into a skating rink!

As you can see, this is a local museum and it truly does embrace the community it sits in. The time that I visited this they were having an exhibit that showcased local artists. That would be why you don't see any pictures of the art from me out of respect for those local artists. They were actually getting ready to switch over exhibits when I visited. Even though it looks small from the outside, the inside is quite spacious and totally gives off the art gallery vibe. Rooms that echoed if you spoke or simply took a step. The exhibit stretched multiple rooms on each floor. Since this was an exhibit for local artists you were able to purchase the art on display. When I was here there was an older couple that had come in and talking with the employees. They had purchased a few pieces over time from here. What was nice was that you could vote when you finished your visit on which piece of art you thought was extraordinary. I wonder what the results was of that vote. I'm going to have to look into that.
