We love going to Somerset Patriots games. If you time it correctly you can see some big names at bat. But the real fun is just the overall experience. With ticket prices being super reasonable it makes for a great family outing with young kids who have a short attention span. Food and drinks options are plentiful. And we absolutely love the games where the kids get to run the bases. The stadium isn't too big so it's easy to get around and you can explore. Parking is also convenient and is only $5. read more

Loved attending my first baseball game here! Cannot believe it's taken me this long to go. Obviously it's no Yankee stadium, but this a much more manageable visit with young kids. Parking is super easy - there's a large lot right outside of the stadium and it's $5. I also noticed lots of people parking across the street at the shopping center, so assuming that's allowed you can always take that route. Tickets are cheap! You can snag a great seat close to the field for $15-20 bucks. Food and drinks are a little steep though. A water bottle was $5! Everything was surprisingly good for stadium food though. You'll of course find the standard hot dogs, chicken fingers, etc. But they also had really decent pizza, fried chicken sandwiches and lots more food vendors. At the end of the game the kids get to run the bases which was really cute. My daughter, niece and nephew really enjoyed that part. This is a fun summer activity, and I'm glad we went! read more

I can't say that I am the biggest baseball fan...but I was THAT DAY! Although the Patriots did not win, we had the best time. Sparky, the Somerset Patriots mascot, came to visit us in our section and interacted with everyone, striking a few poses for us before continuing on. I made sure to get beer and a hotdog during the game, because why not. And the night ended with beautiful fireworks. Would highly recommend. read more

First time attending a Somerset Patriots games yesterday. Easy to find, minutes off I-287 and plenty od on-site parking ($5.00), some people park across the street at the shopping center. Plenty of food options to suit every raster. All seats had good visibility of the action on the field. They also had a motorcycle event outside before the game and later circled the infield. Very cool. Between inning there were t-shirts "slingshoted" into the stands, and many entertaining activities to add a lot of fun to the day. I look forward to returning. read more

My family reunion was held at this Stadium on Saturday 7/19/25. My sister is disabled. The workers were so kind and helpful to her. There was one young man I wish I would have gotten his name. Somerset? *large glass pitcher bursts through the wall* PATRIOTS!!!!!!111111111 I don't know why I haven't reviewed this experience yet, but it's my 8th? year of dragging people from my company over for the annual baseball outing and I wouldn't change it. It's baseball, ya know? You sit, if you're a group like us there's food, soda, and a place to get beer, but if not you can still get those things individually. Good sightlines, and my group appreciated having the top deck this time where they could just socialize among themselves. (Engineers are introverts.) Not only did their two mascots pay us a visit, but Sparky Lyle himself came upstairs to say hi! That was super special and tells you why we always look forward to this experience. read more

#Take me out to the ball game, take me out to the crowd. Buy me some peanuts and crackerjack#... wait, maybe not, I am more into hot dogs. This was my very first live baseball game. This was also my first outing with a group of friends as hubby and I dipped our toes back into the normalcy of the pandemic world with the blessings of the latest CDC COVID guidelines. We came one day too early so wearing our masks was mandated to enter the park. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the ballpark.  It is a crowd-pleaser place to catch a great minor league game, grab a bite to eat and have fun in the open outdoors and if you are lucky, catch a ball! As I had mentioned earlier, we were one day early regarding the restrictions of the lifted masks that are required. There was an entry sign stipulating masks are mandated but upon coming in, everywhere we looked, everyone was very relaxed with that rule. There are many eateries found above the stadium where you can purchase pizza, ice cream, hot dogs and chicken tenders but there is also a concession stand where they sell beer, pretzels, hotdogs, Dansani bottled water, mostly at the price of $5 near the seated tables. The hand sanitizer by the concession stand was visible but empty. I had mentioned this to the person who worked at the concession stand but she didn't seem concerned so I left it alone. I always carry my own spray, wipes and hand sanitizer so we were fine. If you are lucky enough to have the previous game cancelled, the night before due to heavy rain, you can possibly catch two games for the price of one, as we did.  The seats are comfortable and there are side tables where you can also sit to catch the game for a price, of course. There are tables with canopies that are highly sought after so come early to put in your request. You can also rent the suite for the game and have your food catered if you have enough people at your party.  We were supposed to rent the suite but unfortunately, it was already at 50% capacity. Had we gone the following day, it would have been open for our party. #Now let me root, root, root for the home team. If they don't win it's a shame. [4.25 Stars] Despite a rain-out of our ticketed game (the rain began as we were parking), our experiences at TD Bank Field were inexpensive, a lot of fun and as hassle-free as could be imagined. We had field-level box seats, three rows back from the field and adjacent to the Patriots dugout-- for only $17 each. Close enough to look the players in the eye and to hear dugout chatter, this added a dimension to the game that I'd never experienced. Add $5 for parking (waived for the rain-out) and we had more fun than $40 usually buys. As for the rain-out, we spent 90 minutes waiting for the rain to clear. During that time the intimate setting of TD Bank Field contributed to some great conversation. Rescheduling our tickets was as simple as emailing the ticket info and our preferred game and seats to the Patriots Customer Service folks. Digital tickets for the second game were in our hands within minutes . . . hats off to such outstanding service. Our rescheduled game happened to be a "Bark At The Park" night. Socialized dogs of all sizes and breeds watched the game, along with their owners. Although we don't have a dog, we enjoyed this clever promotion. Also present-- and standing about 10' in front of us-- was former Yankee great Sparky Lyle. Sparky's grandchildren each threw an opening pitch. The Patriot's starting pitcher was two-time Cy Young award winner Cory Kluber (on a rehabilitation assignment). Gio Urschela, the Yankee's third baseman was also in the starting lineup. Minor league baseball games always pack a lot of inoffensive silliness between the innings, and there was no exception here. TD Bank Field was staffed by uncommonly polite and helpful personnel, and offered all of the food and information stands one could possibly want on a single, easily-accessible concourse. We ate dinner before our 25 minute drive to the park, so food wasn't necessary. Food did appear to be a bit pricey. As noted, getting to TD Bank Field was an easy sprint across Rt. 22 and a few blocks off the highway. Parking was ample and entry/exit gates were quite close. We experienced only minimal traffic exiting the ballpark. Summarizing, this is an experience we'll likely repeat next season. We had a great time. read more

I come here about 6-10 times a season and don't think I have ever had less than a 5 star experience at any single visit whether I am with friends in a company suite or sitting down on the field. Parking is cheap, plentiful, and a very easy in and out. Every seat in the house is a good one. There are plenty of food options although I have noticed that it is getting pricier and pricier. Their staff is great. Make sure to walk down near the Patriots bench before the game and say hello to retired Yankee Legend Sparky Lyle. I know a lot of younger people especially the kids don't really know who he is but he did play a major role for a couple of World Series winning teams in the 70s. Minor league baseball at its best. This is one of my favorite semi pro stadium's. Today's ridiculous cost of Major League Baseball only permits the average family the ability to afford maybe one or two games a year boo. Ladies and gentlemen allow me to introduce those that aren't privy to the minor league an alternative option. Semi pro stadiums will not only save your budget, but you'll still see some quality ball. Somerset Patriots are a part of the independent minor league meaning they are unaffiliated with a professional baseball team. Sparky Lyle ( retired Yankee pitcher ) currently coaches this team. Now here's the thing about minor league games, no one really cares who wins or loses. In fact rarely have we ever stayed for all 9 innings. You're at the ballpark eating sub $5 hot dogs as opposed to $10, beers for less than $7 as opposed to $12 + at Yankee Stadium. And the best part is the lawn seats at around $6. If you have young children that don't want to be nailed down to a seat (that just about covers every kid in America) the lawn is perfect. Hoards of kids can run around next to the right field bullpen waiting for them to throw a foul ball ( which they do quite often ) or perhaps catch one live. A commuter train stops every now and then just behind the right field wall, hilarious. The venue is quite active in engaging kids with games & contests throughout your stay. People cams and mascots always keeping you entertained. Special events & give aways all the time. Minor league stadiums bring us all back to pure Americana in an affordable big way. The crack of the bat, the PA announcer, kids laughing ahhing & ooing and of course running around. You can even sneak in beers if you're really crafty lol. This is a perfect minor league stadium. I loved the access you get to the team on a Sunday game. I loved the fact that I got to meet a childhood favorite player in Sparky Lyle. I was there as part of the York Revolution fan club. The Patriots knew we were coming and welcomed our group by allowed one of our fans to throw out the first pitch and acknowledged us as a group in attendance. One of the mascots carried on with our group and pointed to his Patriots jersey and high fived our group and posed for pictures. It was clear the Patriots were glad we came to the game and made sure we felt welcome even though we loudly cheered for the visitors. The stadium itself is great with wide concourses and good sight lines. I like how the bowl is divided into two sections almost like an upper and lower level. Wow, I cannot believe this park has been sitting in my backyard all these years and I only just discovered it. What a great experience! Our children's school was hosting an event for all the students to see the Somerset Patriots play the Long Island Ducks at TD Bank Park. I've never been to a minor league baseball game, and my 5-year old son had never been to any kind of baseball game ever. I've all but given up on going to a Major League Baseball game, now that the cost for a family of four to see the Yankees or Mets can easily exceed $400 when you add everything up. But it's a totally different experience in the minor leagues. $8 per person for tickets to awesome seats along the third base line on the lower deck. $2 for parking. $7 beers. Reasonably priced eats, with food that actually tasted good and was served mostly hot and fresh. There's even a concession stand that serves healthy food options. What I appreciated most was that the Team Store doesn't try to fleece you out of all your money. I was able to purchase my son and daughter a whole variety of foam fingers, bats, and seat cushions for less than $25. And both of them got a free plastic baseball helmet upon entry. Because we were part of a special event, we were allowed onto the field, doing a full circle around the perimeter, meeting the players, horsing around with the mascots, and just having a complete blast. There's even a grassy area where you can sit and watch the game that has the most beautifully grown grass I have ever seen. I wish my own lawn looked like that. I totally recommend a family night or boys night out here. A great time is guaranteed! read more

We've come here a few times and have always had a wonderful experience. Most recently we came for a Bark in the Park event with our dog. For having 100s of dogs at the park for the evening it was very nicely organized and quiet possibly one of the cleanest I've seen the stands! They had dog bowls filled with water all around, dog treats, and even doggie ice cream for purchase. It was a lovely game for all and a wonderful evening. We were in great hands the entire night and the staff was always so friendly and helpful. We went with our church group last night and it was a lot of fun! We did the picnic venue.....which meant we got the wristband for the picnic fare. What was served? hamburgers (cheese on the side which meant not melted), hot dogs, baked beans, potato salad, a soda fountain with various types of sodas, small bags of potato chips (plain flavor), chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin cookies...this was an all you can eat venue btw. There were also beer vendors where you could buy a beer if you wanted to. I only write about the picnic venue but need to mention that the rest of the stadium sells other things such as funnel cakes, ice cream and ?????not sure cause I never left the picnic area. The game? Somerset Patriots vs. Maryland Blue Crabs - the game went into overtime. Lots of fun as there were announcers having the group clap, yell for the team, play music, sing, etc. Afterwards is a fireworks show which was fantastic! I missed Fourth of July fireworks this year so this made up for it. Lots of kids, lots of birthday parties, lots of happy birthday announcements....all in all, a good time! read more

Went here on two consecutive nights with the work family and my family and i was impressed both times. This is minor league baseball and its right in somerset. It's a nice park that is family friendly which is a major plus and its very nice to watch a neat little game going on. Both nights the park had decent crowds and the teams there do a great job of keeping people entertained between innings with various promos and games.
