The treatment to a new homeowner is utterly disgusting! Iam the mother to the young lady who you decided to berate this afternoon 12/3/2025 As you told her she will have a rude awakening? Tracey my daughter is a supervisor and is a very responsible young lady and even tho she was late for her appointment her other half was there and explained the situation. She was on her way over the mountain losing service in and out when your guy decided to tell her does she need him to dumb down the explanation? Like huh? What? that was uncalled for! He could have waited the 3 minutes it took her to get there! He left and sent her an invoice and she emailed you disappointed on what happened there are cameras in the home with audio and when she sent me the video of the way he was speaking to her on the phone and to her other half It was absolutely horrible! Then after the call with you, you telling her you did not care if she put a bad review and other comments made to her that were inappropriate! My daughter is learning how to be a homeowner(closed on home 10/8/2025) so she asks many questions because she wants to understand. Iam very proud of her and the person she is but not once did she disrespect you as you did her telling her she disrespected the appointment by getting there late and she wasted your time!l She picked your service because of the very good reviews and you were close to the house! I know you were a new homeowner at one time so patience and empathy especially with these times are essential to our young adults! Being Kind is free! She was going to move forward with the service that's why she reached back out to you but after the way you disrespected her (yes the call was on speaker and the audio to the house cameras captured it all) I told her all your service deserves is the service call fee I told her I will help her find someone else she does not need to give you her hard earned money! Thank you and please remember Being Kind is Free! Very Upset Mother to a New Homeowner adult child! read more

0 stars! Do NOT use this electrician! He is rude and dismissive but charges an inordinate amount without producing quality. Bob and company (I.e., his receptionist) are the absolute rudest contracting org we have ever encountered. We scheduled a service call with Bob for 3 services: 1) to repair a chandelier lift, 2) to install a new chandelier and 3) to install a ceiling fan in place of ceiling light. He came in with an attitude like he did not want to do the job. My husband had been in touch with the manufacturer of the lift and had ordered the replacement part myself. When he tried to explain the background on the lift motherboard, Bob was uninterested and rushed me through the instructions. However, he did not waste any time warning us that he would be charging extra for any trouble-shooting. In the end, he did not hook up the motherboard correctly. We had to have another electrician come to fix his errors. Given his attitude, we did not ask him to complete the chandelier. It was large and complex - so clearly he wanted nothing to do with it. The ceiling fan was a simple change because we already had a ceiling fan guard. This was the only thing he completed. To top it off, when my husband called to let his office know he charged us for doing the job incorrectly (request a partial refund), Tracey began screaming at him, blaming him saying we messed with the motherboard! My husband was patient, spoke calmly, and tried to explain why we should not be charged for the bad job (note we were willing to pay the service fee and work for the fan), she hung up on him! If you expect to pay for a service that is correct, complete and done with respect, Bob from Lehigh Valley Electric is not your electrician. read more

Requested an appointment and they had to reschedule due to a conflict. Second appointment scheduled and they showed during a time we told them we were not available and now are charging a fee for the time. Extremely rude. read more

They were easy to schedule with, explained everything they were going to do, and very clean.

Was very happy with the service initially. It was pricey but service was excellent. I had all my smoke detectors changed to the kind with 10 year batteries. Several weeks ago, when the power to the house blipped, every one of them started going off announcing fire. There was no fire. I was very happy when the electrician came out and solved the problem, which involved replacing one particular smoke detector. Fast forward to this weekend when the one that was replaced started going off intermittently. I called, got an answering service, who said he would relay the message and someone would call me back shortly. Never did. I had to get someone else her to take that detector down. No call until 7:55 this AM, where I was told in a testy way that their support hours are M-F regular business hours. I said I think this detector is defective and she said their typical next appointment was weeks out. I said that was outrageous as there is clearly a problem and they installed these. The person (who identified herself as the wife of the owner when I asked for a supervisor) proceeded to tell me off - she was upset with me for criticizing their work, how hard they work, they are a small family owned business, etc. Nasty and very unprofessional. Will never use or recommend again. read more

was reliable, timely and did a good job on installing new recessed lighting in my high ceiling living room and replacing my chandelier, hallways lights and dining room light. Clean and professional. Job well done read more

Prompt and professional service but very expensive--$500 to replace 5 ground-level outdoor light fixtures which took less than an hour to do. read more

Paid $400 to fix an outlet which in itself is outrageous but had no power and no other options. Outlet is fixed but they rewired a light switch, not sure why being that room was not the issue, and now the overhead light flashes like a strobe light. Electrician came back to the home to "fix" the switch but continued to tell us the issue was the brand new overhead LED light. Ironic that they fixed one issue and made another one which will cost me additional costs to have them replace the brand new light fixture. I know see why they have same day availability. Called the office again today to see if another electrician can come to the home to see if they can fix the rewired outlet. Still no call back and my spare bedroom light continues to be a strobe light. read more

Very disappointed with Lehigh Valley Electric. Contacted them 5/25/11 for an emergency service. A gentlemen call on 5/26/11 sorry for not contacting the night before and asked if we will be home later that evening. I waited all day for a call and NO ONE never called. I called the 24 HOURS SERVICE AGAIN on May 27, 2011 AT 6:00AM with the same emergency and once again NO ONE never ever contacted us. As of May 30, 2011, we have not heard from anyone connected with this company.... From reading all the reviews their service are excellent, but their CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AND FOLLOWUP IS TERRIBLE. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND OR CONTACT THEM AGAIN EVER IN LIFE..... read more

Do not waste your time with this place. They are a joke. Called there answering service around 2:30pm all the girl said was someone would call. Next day no one called so called back. Asked the answering service when I would be getting a call. All she could say was they were probably out of the office and will get a call tomorrow. Needless to say it has been over a week and no call. I went with a better company. Be warned not to waste time. I wish could leave no stars. If this is how your answering service works and suppose to be helpful it is not. read more

I am very pleased with the work performed by the team at Lehigh Valley Electric. Everyone I encountered treated me with respect and was very patient as they explained to me the work we needed done. We needed a fan installed on a very high ceiling and they advised me of the best type of fan and where to buy it. When I called the day before my appointment asking them to install an outside motion light, they said no problem and even purchased two lights for me to select from. I highly recommend Lehigh Valley Electric and will use them again for future projects. read more

We Just had Bob at Lehigh Valley Electric put in a whole-house generator for us and we are very happy with the work and bob's responsiveness. He helped arrange the needed subcontractors, coordinated permits and inspections, and did very high quality work. All of his electrical work passed inspection with flying colors. Bob is very accessible by phone and text, answers questions promptly and completely, is on time and on budget, and keeps you informed when plans change (e.g. weather delays for outside work). We will definitely use him again in the future. read more

Absolutely the best service, fast and efficient. Knowledgeable and very courteous.

Our initial delight has given way to a great sense of frustration. I chose Bob because of his knowledge, professionalism, and responsiveness, and was happy to pay him a little less than $2,000 to install 11 landscape lights around our front yard in mid-2011. When all the lights are on, the results are beautiful. The problem is how seldom that's the case. At any given point in the last 2 years, we've had 2 or 3 malfunctioning lights. Right now, 6 are out. I've bought and replaced umpteen halogen bulbs at $7 apiece. The package claims a 2.5-year projected life, meaning I should be replacing them for the 1st time right about now; not the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th. The lights worked fine for several months, and then two of them went out. No big deal. Bob, to his credit, came out and replaced them. And then they started to go out with increasing frequency. Another one. Then three more. His response time increased, along with his level of exasperation, I sense. First I was told that I shouldn't handle the bulbs with bare hands (OK, good to know). Then that I wasn't installing them correctly (That's possible, as the bulbs are small and delicate, and yet need to be jammed through a very tight pair of brackets into their slots). But I knew something was fundamentally wrong when after another visit he emailed me that each of the three burned out bulbs were due to my faulty installation -- only to have one that he himself "fixed" go out later that very night, with more to follow in the coming days. I don't know whether this problem is specific to my house (e.g. power surges, a faulty ground) or me; the materials he uses (which he says work fine elsewhere, and I'm inclined to believe him); or just bad luck. Regardless, I now look at my landscape lights with a sense of dread rather than satisfaction. read more

Fast to get an appointment and honored price quote for the job. Very informative and good advice. I will keep his business card handy!

Great service with a smile. They were here on time, used the little booties to keep the house clean. Fast diagnosis of an electrical concern I could not do. The tech knew right away what the problem was and repaired it. We will be calling them again for other concerns we have. read more

Those who are posting positive reviews must be loaded with money. I received an estimate of $1,000 to install two ceiling fans and switch one light fixture from one room to the other. Totally exorbitant! I'm from northJersey where prices are normally high, but I've never seen any estimate like the one I received. I politely declined the work. In reading other reviews that expressed the same "sticker shock," I noticed the reply to those reviews are quite patronizing. Customers aren't stupid. We know good, reasonably priced work when we see it. Your company does not fit that expectation. read more

Bob was prompt and professional. The fees, though are out of this world! Be prepared to pay over $200/hr. for "diagnosis" of a single problem, and over $300/hr. for labor for the actual repair. Out of MY reach! read more

I just have to say one thing about this vendor - Very Unprofessional. Bob was very unprofessional to just provide an estimate and was very pushy about whether work needs to be done or not. As a customer, he did not even give chance to ask him questions about why I was quote at that price. I am sure everyone shops around to get an estimate, but it seem that he was not even ready to listen and thought that I was having a debate about it and very bluntly told me that he would not do any negotiation and on top of this, when I stated that I am looking to get an estimate from other vendors, he pretty much was very unprofessional and told me that whether I need anything else from him and it pretty much ended our conversation. I am not sure what other people had experience with, but if you are in a service industry, then he needs to be professional on how to talk to his customers rather than just stating it to someone that I am having a debate with him on price or why am I asking so many questions. Good luck in your business and you just have lost a customer who would never get business from it. Thank you. read more
