My 51 year old boiler needed to be replaced. I called Indoor Comfort Specialists (ICS) and Tom Howard one of the owners came out and gave me a price on trying to fix the old boiler and a price on a new boiler. I chose to replace the boiler because he gave me a great price which saved me money over the other two estimates. Boilers are only suppose to last 20 to 30 years so I decided to replace it. They scheduled me quickly because it was starting to get cold outside. Torrie, Louie and Chase did the work. They explained what they were doing and Louie and Chase went above and beyond the call of duty putting in my chimney liner and making sure it protected both my chimney and my neighbor's shared chimney whose liner was put in wrong. They wanted it to be perfect and they spent a lot of time making it that way. At the end of the install Torrie took extra time making sure I understood how to operate it and how to purge the air from the system. They cleaned up and helped me by opening and closing the trap door to my cellar. Now I'm waiting for Allentown's code enforcement officer to inspect it. read more

Highly Recommend this local HVAC Service and Sales provider. I have had the pleasure of having used them for servicing my 19 year old HVAC units (Propane Furnace and Electric Heat pumps, 1st Floor and 2nd Floor). for the past 6-7 years, They are ALWAYS so responsive to regular service calls, as well as emergency ones, often times with same day service if time allows and always within 24 hours. And I recently had the pleasure of using their sales side as well, to replace our 1st floor unit in full. Their pricing was very competitive, they offer financing through a local, online finance company, their installation staff was professional, courteous, timely and super clean. They took the time to explain things to myself and my wife before, during and after the installation. If you appreciate using locally owned and operated service providers, this is my 5 Star recommendation for any HVAC needs. read more

ISC just completed an install on a heat pump with backup furnace, the whole process was seamless. The most helpful and polite folks from the first phone call with Ashley to schedule the estimate, the estimate with John who was knowledgeable and willing to spend the time to answer questions and help to get a system perfect for my needs. The technicians Ben and Cris were great, they completed the install perfectly and went out of their way to update me along the way and to address any and every concern I may have had. Everyone at ICS is professional and the technicians were tidy, respectful of the property and were very personable. All of this and was done at a very reasonable price. read more

ICS Heating & Air Conditioning installed a new high efficiency heat pump w/AC in 3/2025. They provided excellent service from start to finish: sales, installation, training us on the new smart thermostat and the office support staff. They even completed the rebate forms for me. ICS truly goes above and beyond. They recommended and installed an additional return air duct. WOW what a difference it made by making the Family Room more comfortable. Everyone was professional, knowledgeable and helpful. I'll be recommending ICS in the future! read more

I called ICS Heating and Air conditioning after another company indicated that I needed some very expensive repairs. I called ICS and they schedule an appointment within a week since my air was still working. The freon was added and the capacitor was checked and a leak check scheduled. The repairs were 1/3 of the other company. I have been very happy with their service and follow-up. read more

The installers braved the cold weather and completed the installation of a new heat pump on one of the coldest Mondays in December. The price they quoted was the most reasonable of the estimates received from competitors. They also handled the rebates for me (a service that I had not expected but greatly appreciate.) read more
