Inside the dry cleaners, there's a dedicated sewing and alterations room with a changing area. My initial fitting was on a Monday. Alterations are never cheap, but Maria's skill and attention to detail make every penny worth it. I can't praise her enough. If you need anything tailored, I highly recommend Maria. My mistake that I didn't open the dress to check when I picked it up. When I unpacked it at home, it had white streaks, looked faded, and no longer felt soft. I don't tend to leave bad reviews like that, but when I contacted the owner about the condition of my dress, I received a series of insulting and accusatory text messages. He accused me of trying to cheat the business, referred to me as a "swindler" and a "repeated offender," and questioned where I had obtained the photos I sent of my own dress. I wanted to bring the dress back to have the issue addressed, but the owner told me I was banned from the business. There was no offer to resolve the problem. I just want to warn people about this place. Both the condition of my dress and the way my complaint was handled were extremely disappointing. I would not trust this business with expensive or delicate clothing.

She got the owner, Michael, on the phone and he was apologetic, but after much confusion on the employee's part they still charged me $18. $18 to attach three buttons! And I had supplied the buttons! No cleaning, no pressing - three buttons! The employee told me that other customers had been charged ridiculous amounts for other repairs/alterations at the store and my case was not isolated. I told the employee that I will definitely not be having any more repairs/alterations done ever at that place. In fact, I will not be patronizing the cleaners again. It is too bad for them because they had been a good dry cleaner and I had several items waiting to go over, including rugs. She took no responsibility and offered no form of compensation. I asked her why after they saw the damage they didn't advise me of the problem, why did they just wrap the comforter and take my money. She just shrugged and said it wasn't their fault. It saddens me that she would so easily dismiss a loyal customer that she sees at least twice a month. The short sightedness of her action to such a small problem gives no indication that they would be able or willing to address larger concerns. I'm sure many will have nothing but wonderful things to say about this business and its owner and until today I was one of them.
