Stayed 2 nights at this hotel and we were recommended by some friends. We love the calmness of the property and felt our kids were very safe. It had a sidewalk that goes around the entire property so it's nice for a morning jog before the kids wake up. The pool is fun and my kids enjoyed staying here. The breakfast was good and all the staff is very accommodating. Overall, the room was clean, however our room in particular had a really bad odor and when I called, maintenance arrived and said they didn't notice anything wrong. Also housekeeping came and cleaned the area that I said I thought the smell was coming from. No other investigation was conducted and the problem seemed to be downplayed by staff. They were not able to move our room because all the rooms were booked up. I ended up going to Publix to buy my own cleaning supplies and air fresheners, but nothing seemed to help. I was disappointed because I really wanted this trip to be relaxing and not always in the go, but we really didn't want to hang out in our room due to the smell. It's the second time I stayed at the Legoland Beach Retreat and I enjoyed my stay both times. My son is a mega Lego fan so he loves that it is all Lego themed. It is the most economical one from the three Lego hotels but it is also on the other side of the park. There's a shuttle driving guests there and bringing them back but only until an hour after park closing. Since I usually like to enjoy dinner and activities at the main hotel, I always take the care as parking is included. The Beach Retreat is very charming but it is not really a full service hotel. You have to take your owns bags, and there is no water or body lotion in the room. You can text a number and request certain things but I'd rather come prepared. The rooms are in a cute little house that are Lego themed and include free Legos. There's also a nice pool with s'mores. All in all, it is a lot quieter than the main hotel and has less activities. So it depends on your personal preference which hotel to pick. read more

Definitely depends on the price about whether it is worth staying here. If you can get the legoland hotel that is next to legoland for $100-$200 a night more, it is worth staying at the other legoland hotel. If this place is that much cheaper, I would opt to stay here. That is only if 1. it doesn't look like it will be raining the entire weekend and 2. if you have a car. If you don't have a car, even though the walk is .5 miles it seems farther and it's along a busyish street. They do have a shuttle, which we didn't take since we had a car. The bungalow style is definitely cute if the weather is good. Otherwise, you're running through a rather large area to get to your room. Each bungalow is connected to one other and when we were there there was no one in the one next to us, which was great. The rooms are exactly the same as in the main legoland hotel other than the fact that there's no second tv in the kids bunk area. I love the legoland rooms in general, where the kids have their on little alcove with a bunk bed and a trundle pull out so they can go to sleep early while the adults stay up. The pool is less busy than the main legoland hotel one and there's a sand area and playground. That is pretty cool. It still has all the floating legos (but no slide). It's right next to the restaurant so you can order a drink at the window and bring it out to the pool. You can also order food to eat at the pool. There's little playgrounds all over this place, which was fun for the kids. There's no lobby so you basically check in at the front gate from your car. Overall, when there's a good deal, I'll stay here, otherwise I'll opt for the other hotel. read more

Resort We went to Legoland Fl finally and needed a place to crash after a day at the park so we rented on of the cabins that make up the Legoland Beach Resort. The location is literally down the street from Legoland proper and the site is whimsical with the way the bungalow all look like they are made out of legos... Each cabin has two apartments. We had a king bed and a bunk bed / trundle bed combo for the littles. Bathroom was spacious enough and we did not feel cramped staying there. Granted, we only went to the room to sleep but it served the purpose perfectly. There is a pool onsite as well as a restaurant. The restaurant gets a lot of bad reviews for some reason, but we found it to be fine, but pricey. Plenty of lifeguards were around the pool area to keep an eye on the kiddos - we went at night after the park closed and let the kids burn off whatever energy they had left. The only downside that I saw top this resort is that it there is nothing to prevent people from entering the resort - or to prevent your littles from walking out. Edited to add: I have noticed some of the bad reviews mention paying exorbitant prices to stay here. I recommend staying flexible on your dates and staying within your budget. I shopped around for the price I wanted and paid the same price I would have paid for any moderately priced hotel. My son and I stayed at the Legoland Beach Retreat for the first time on Friday night with our friend and her son. If you are looking for a more budget-friendly overnight stay, I highly recommend this MUCH less expensive option to the main Legoland Hotel and the Pirate Hotel. We loved staying in the Pirate hotel last year, but I can definitely see the benefits to each of these hotels. Legoland Beach Retreat rooms are like little individual cabins. The rooms may be a few feet smaller than the main hotel, but it was barely noticeable. I enjoyed the peace and quiet and the nature views from our front porch. It was also very convenient to have a small playground by each room, so the kids could play within eyesight while I drank my coffee. The zero-entry pool area was perfect for families. There's a sandy "beach" area the kids can play in and a giant playground next door. There's also a full bar available for the parents. Directly next to the pool is a restaurant that serves a free breakfast, as well as lunch. (Lunch is not free.) I must mention that the chef was very friendly and accommodating to my vegan friend. We were both very pleased that the chef came out to discuss her dietary restrictions and then followed up during the meal to make sure she was happy with her breakfast. Last but not least, while there is no nightly entertainment at Legoland Beach Retreat, you can either take a free shuttle or drive across the street to the Main Hotel and partake in their kids activities/entertainment. First time visiting legoland and have to say it was a great experience staying across the street at the beach resort. Easy to access, check-in was a breeze, and staff is super friendly. We decided to check in early to drop off our stuff in the lobby or wherever they could hold it for us and head to the park but to our surprise our room was ready! They allowed us to check in a couple of hours early. It was easy to get to our room and it was super cute. King bed, bathroom, bunk beds for the kiddos, closets and refrigerator area. Simple and great for us. The retreat is definitely designed for kids. Each section has a cute little park in front of the patio. You can sit and watch the kids from your patio. We took our scooters and the kids loved riding around. Pool area was fun too, sand pit and larger park for the kids. They enjoyed every second of it. Overall, great place for kiddos! My children were impressed by the ambiance of staying at the Legoland beach retreat. However, my husband and I were not happy with the very tight accommodations that came at $327 a night plus resort fees. They provide a sitting table area outside of your room as it provides a view of the no frills playground which can also be viewed from the room window. Once you open the door, you are falling into the king size bed there is no walk way or table. The bunk bed and trundle for the children are in an area the same size as a coat closet covered with a curtain. Do not expect to have privacy or intimacy as you are only a foot away from the children sleeping area. Because we were staying at a "resort" we did not expectat to have a microwave, but we would've appreciated a second sink instead of using the same sink to brush our teeth and make coffee. The positive; accommodating staff, they quickly responded to our heater in our room not working as it was and unseasonably 40 degrees out; the all you can eat breakfast buffet was adequate; room was clean; the location is across the street from Legoland. read more

So good to be a kid again! We enjoyed our stay here for the weekend. We are happy we took a Friday off and was able to experience the park with "off season" types of crowds. Although the bad side to that is during the week the park closes at 5:00. We went again on Saturday and had more time, since they closed at 8:00. They had a nice display of fireworks. On Saturday, we went to the water park which is inside of Legoland. So keep your tickets handy, they will be checking them again. We rented a big locker for all our items and had no problems with things. Since the kids enjoyed themselves so much we ran into lunch. They have a food place at the front of the park, which we fed 2 adults and 2 kids for less then $50. 2 adult burger and fries 2 kids meal, and beverages. The beach resort was very kid friendly. We let the kids play on the playground as we watched and sat from our room patio area. There was an addictive game of toss the ring on the hook. When you go inside the resort, don't be fooled like we were. Initially we did not see the kids space behind the curtain and only saw the king bed. The bunk beds were a hit for the kids. There is a trundle underneath the bottom bed. So we could have had 3 kids on our room if we needed to. The downside is there is only one mirror anywhere in the room which is in the bathroom. Makes getting ready in the mornings a bit harder then it needed to be. We had a blast and will probably stay at the resort again. read more

This could be a much more affordable alternative to Legoland hotel, but you yet what you pay for. The concept is cute. Checkin is easy when it works. Upon arrival we went through an open gate. Turns out that gate is where you check in. This was wholly inconvenient to do standing outside where other cars want to pass. They were quick and efficient, so like I said it can be useful when it works properly. Some things to consider that I didn't love: 1. Checkout on Sunday is 11 and there is no one there past 1. This also means the pool closes early which is a bummer if you want some fun in the sun. You could go to the other hotel and use their pool. 2. The pool here was tiny. I mean the depth never went past ~3 feet (maybe 3'6") which is great for the kids but not great for the parents supervising. Again it was a tiny space. 3. The room is tiny! As other reviewers noted, you walk-in and the bed is right there. I wish there was a tv in the kids "closet" sized room. There's not. This means kiddies have to squeeze into/onto your bed to watch the Lego movies that can be useful to wind down/get ready/bathing shifts... it wasn't super inconvenient because my kids are smaller and I only have 2. With 3 and some older than 10 it can be a bit much. I was really hoping there was a benefit to staying at Legoland peppery for our visit but there was not much value other than the few conveniences (being across the street from Legoland and included breakfast). However, is this worth more than $300 a night? I personally fail to see the value. Will I stay at Legoland beach retreat again? Maybe. Pricing will be my main driver to come here versus a cheaper hotel down the road. read more

We have stayed at the Legoland Beach Retreat each spring break for the past two years. The rooms are small, but given that we spend most of our time at the parks, it is not an issue. I traveled with my husband and three-year-old, and my parents stayed in a room directly next to ours. The beach retreat bungalows are adorably themed, and my three-year-old loved it. My three-year-old loved playing at the playground behind Sandy's Restaurant. There are also small playgrounds at the center of each group of bungalows, but once my child saw the larger one behind the restaurant, he had a clear preference. As for the bungalows; when we first entered, there was a slightly stale smell to the room, but we were willing to look past that for the convenience of being on property. The toilets are great in that they have a child seat you can pull down so the child doesn't fall into the toilet. The bathtubs have a line you can string across to hang up your bathing suits or wet clothes to dry, but considering it was in the fifties when we went, we were not partaking in pool activities. Although the selection at the restaurant is very standard, they were extremely careful with my child's allergies. He has many allergies, and it can seem impossible and frightening to go to restaurants, but the chef came out each time to greet us, and ensure that he got a meal that was safe and enjoyable. The fact that breakfast is included with packaged stays at the Beach Retreat is excellent and generously portioned. The food is standard eggs, bacon, fruit, and potatoes. You can get it to-go and take it back to enjoy in the comfort of your hotel room, or you can eat in the restaurant. My parents took my child to breakfast each morning where he was given his own special pancakes made without wheat, dairy. read more

I am writing this for the horrid experience and treatment we received at the LEGOLAND beach resort and the LEGOLAND park. First of all I called ahead to make sure even though we couldn't check in until 4 Pm it was still okay to come to use the pool. I was told to come as early as we would like and if the room was not ready to grab some drinks and relax by the pool. Upon arrival to the resort after the 2 hr drive, I was informed that the pools were usually opened 9am - 9pm, but that the beach resort pool was closed until atleast 4pm. We could use the pools located at the pirate hotel in the meantime as the hotel was aware. We went over to the hotel to use the pools as instructed by the beach resort staff. After about 30mins of looking for parking, we finally found a spot and made our way inside. Once inside, the hotel front desk had no idea that the beach retreat pool was closed. Upon making a few phone calls, the front desk found out that the reason the pool was closed was for staffing issues as LEGOLAND had to take lifeguards from the pools to staff the waterpark. The front desk than related that is most likely why one of their pools was closed also Trying to make the best of it we grabbed drinks and went to the ONE pool that was opened. We were there for a total of 15 mins before we left as it was filled with small children. My daughter is 8, it was a baby pool. It was 88 degrees out, so we decided to go to the waterpark. The problem with that was we couldn't just buy a ticket to the waterpark. In order to use the water park we also had to buy a ticket to LEGOLAND. I explained that the pools at the beach resort and pirate hotel were closed. I was told by LEGOLAND staff that is not there problem, it is the hotels. I informed the staff the reason the pools are closed was to staff their waterpark so it kinda is their fault. Being as hot as it was, we bought the tickets and were told to speak with a manager later. When I returned to the beach resort, I talked to the manager who informed me there was nothing she would do and to contact HR. It is absolutely ridiculous that people are treated this way. On the recorded line it is stated, even if you have the plan protection, you cannot cancel with in 5 days. How is that fair? People can't cancel their trips, but the resort and hotel doesn't have to offer what a customer pays for? They don't even offer compensation or an alternative. After spending close to $1200 back in January booking everything and than this happens. If I would have known this is how LEGOLAND and its hotels/resorts operate and treat the paying customers I would have never booked. I have to pick 1 star because it won't let me proceed forward, but I would definitely rate this place zero stars. read more

We have been season ticket holders for 3 years and have made around 10 overnight trips to Legoland. We have always stayed at an offsite hotel but decided to surprise our 6 year old this trip and stay at the Beach Retreat Hotel. We left the park early so that we could check in right at 4:00 to go to the pool. We were told at check in the pool closed early due to maintenance but we later found out that was a lie. It closed because they didn't have proper staffing. I don't appreciate the dishonesty. After talking to several guest this has been going on for days. My guess is that this has been an ongoing issue due to all the staffing cuts that Legoland made. After complaining to the staff we were told around 5:00 that the pool would open in 10-15 minutes and would be open until 8:00. We went to the pool at 5:15 and sat there until 6:00 and it finally opened. They lifeguards announced at 7:00 that the pool was closed. It is supposed to be open until 9:00 by the way. I am beyond upset about this terrible experience! The only reason we chose the "Beach Retreat" was because of the pool area so to not be able to use it was not okay with us. It's not okay with anyone currently staying here. Everyone is upset. Also, my wife decided to order food for us when the pool did open at 6:00. She sat inside waiting for our food from 6:00 until 7:00 so she didn't even get to use the pool for the hour it was opened. Finally, we got a s'mores kit at the end of the night. The graham crackers were all broken and the kit itself was expired for a month. Normally this wouldn't have been that big of an issue but with everything else it was just icing on the cake. This place is super cute and QUIET! Compared to the Legoland Hotel, this place doesn't look as cool and extravagant, but I would rather stay here because it is super peaceful. You live in a small Lego house and you do have a neighbor - like a town home, but you can't even hear them on the other side. The houses are placed in circular groups and in the center has a small playground, which is nice. The bed and pillows are very comfy for the adults. The kids' beds are meh, but they probably could care less. In the welcome packet/sheet, it says that s'mores are available at a certain time, so we thought it would be free, but sadly, it is not. It's $10.70 for a box of who knows how much stuff is in it. The reason why I only gave this place a 4 star, is the breakfast buffet. Let's start with the pros first. PROS: 1) Complimentary and unlimited! 2) It's a very delicious breakfast: sausage, eggs, pancakes, toast, bagels, bacon, fried potatoes, sausage gravy, biscuits, fruits, cereal, French toast, etc. 3) It has long service hours. I believe 7AM to 11 PM? CONS: 1) It is NOT a walk in and serve yourself, like pretty much everywhere else. It's a buffet, but they SERVE you instead of you going to get the food yourself. You have to wait in line to be seated and it takes a while. I didn't mind this concept because it's their place, they make the rules. HOWEVER, I did mind because I didn't understand why it was so inefficient. When you look at the eating area, there are SO MANY empty seats and a lot of the employees are just standing around. It would literally be faster if we just served ourselves and they just clean the tables. So that was really annoying to watch as we waited. 2) I thought ordering to-go would be better, but not really. I was missing several things. They also only provide you with utensils and plates, but NO BOWLS. I got cereal and milk, but NO BOWLS. My son just ate it out of the box. Also when you are seated, they give you a LOT of breakfast because it's "family style," but when you order to-go, I guess you have to specify how much food you want? It makes no sense to me. I told them the number of people in my room and said I wanted the breakfast platter, but the food was only enough for 1. So maybe I should have asked for MULTIPLE? But seriously, how was I suppose to know? There is definitely no communication between you and the guy taking your order - which is only one by the way. He seems to just be going through the motion and doesn't even look like he wants to be there. 3) There is also no menu. I mean, I guess you could walk around the buffet bar and look around, even though you can't grab anything. So overall, just prepare yourself for breakfast, because even if you get there at 9:00 AM, thinking it's enough time to eat then head to Legoland, which opens at 10:00AM, you're wrong!! The welcome letter did warn us about breakfast being a wait, so I guess we should have taken that seriously. Stayed here for 6 nights. I usually stay at 4 - 5 star hotels so I have high standards. The beach houses were cute, but should have included daily housekeeping, and some other perks like lunch or dinner for the price. We purchased a package from the Lego website so my daughter could visit Peppa Pig world. It came with 2 days of multi park tickets and we ended up paying extra to add a 3rd day to enjoy the Lego water park. The restaurant on site was great for breakfast and the waitresses did a great job to accommodate us with vegetarian options. The staff would also give my daughter extra Lego mini toy bags which she loved. We enjoyed the stay, but it was just very pricey. My 4 year old daughter loved the theme of the resort. read more

The Legoland theme park and water park are definitely lacking in so many areas, but the Beach Retreat directly across the street was a fantastic experience. Check in was done in our car at the parking booth and was extremely fast and friendly. We were even given a complementary box of ingredients to make smores by the fire pit. The room was adorably decorated and quite comfortable. It was slightly smaller than expected but just fine for the four of us. All of the rooms are within short walking distance of the restaurant and pool area. Currently they aren't serving dinner in the dining room, but instead offer take out options. The bartenders were very helpful in explaining the ordering process, and also made fantastic drinks. That night we roasted marshmallows by the pool, and the next day we went to the restaurant for breakfast. Breakfast was included and served family style and was excellent. We loved everything and the service was great as well. We've stayed at the Legoland Hotel closer to the theme park before, but the beach resort is much less expensive and in my opinion and overall better value. It was a cute idea... but it just felt dirty. Maybe I just have high expectations. But for the price we paid, I better have high expectations. They don't do daily cleaning, so the floor got gross from the kids snacks and the sand they tracked in. The bathtub didn't drain--disgusting. And the sink made me want to puke while brushing my teeth. There were ants all over the place. They don't provide anyway to clean up if they're not going to do it. I should've demanded a refund on the first night, but roughed it for the next three nights. The room is seriously tiny. When we wanted to relax at night, we stuffed ourselves (5) of us on the bed to watch a movie. Not very comfortable. The pool is nice and has a cute playground. But that's now what you're there for. Our family stayed a night at the Legoland Beach Retreat following a Disney Cruise in November, and this was an amazing hotel for my 5&6-year-olds. We plan to stay again sometime in the future. While normal check-in time is later in the day, we drove straight to the resort after disembarking and arrived at approximately 11. We were able to get our room right away to our surprise, and the set up of the place is great. There are wagons to help carry luggage from your car to your LEGO house. Each house contains two rooms, but we ended up not having any neighbors for the night. The bed was comfortable, and my kids fought over who would sleep on the top bunk of the bunk bed. There was also a trundle bed for younger children or a third child, which we didn't need. Houses are located in "neighborhoods" of 10 or so houses, each neighborhood having their own playground which was fantastic. The main lighthouse was empty earlier in the day, and there is an amazing area for children to build with Legos, either around a giant sandcastle or on the walls! We had gotten there just after the Legos had been cleaned, some pieces still being a little wet, but it was extremely comforting to know that they sanitize them regularly. Because our whole intention was just to stay there for the day, we tried to take full advantage of what the facility had to offer. We ate at the restaurant that night which wasn't anything special but it was just fine, also nothing to complain about. We took pictures with Lego Shark Guy, who was the only character offered that day but since we didn't expect to see any characters, this was a great surprise. There was also a children's dance party hosted after dinner, which was cute. The pool is a great experience still talked about by the kids. There are floating "Legos" which are somewhat stackable, making it so kids can easily spend hours there without complaint. Towels are located by the pool for use, and there were lifeguards on duty. This is a super kid-friendly pool, the deepest part being 3.5 feet I believe, multiple stairs, ladders, and inclines for littles to get in and out on their own, and lifeguards on duty. We avoided the sanded play area, but the kids who were playing there seemed happy. We LOVED taking advantage of the fire pit by buying the S'mores Kit. The kit included more than enough for our family of four and was such a nice way to end our night at the resort. Our stay was only for one night so I can't speak to how this is over a longer period of time, but I wholeheartedly recommend it for a night of Lego fun. read more

I stayed at room 1135 in the Island Warrior Cove at LEGOLAND Beach Retreat Florida. The floors were dirty and left the bottom of your feet black. We had to wear shoes the entire time inside of the room. The king size bed smelt like pee (strong odor of pee) and it felt as if we were getting bitten. We did not sleep underneath the covers and just used our own blankets. We could not wait until our stay was over. The housekeeping was impatient and tried to get us to leave the room way before checkout time so that they could clean (not sure they would really clean because it wasn't clean for us). The tv channels kept freezing and shutting off. Then they have the nerve to hold a $100 fee each night. Would not recommend staying here read more

Had an amazing stay. Very private just how me and my family like it. Less than a 5 minute drive to the Legoland park where parking is free for hotel guest. Disagree with the bad reviews about the dinner, the food was cooked fresh (which we prefer)and when food is cooked fresh it generally takes time to receive it. If you are a needy person or have issues with cleaning up after yourself/your kid(s) I would avoid booking since there is no stay over service. Saw one review about a kid spilling soda on the bed and them bringing sheets but not changing them like come on ppl they are not your personal maids some of you have unrealistic expectations lmao. This place is not closed but the s'mores fire place is broken and that's not cool at all! Very disappointed in this stay. I would never recommend this place either and the price we paid, not acceptable in the slightest, in any way, whatsoever.. My friend and i decided to bring our 6year olds here as a split birthday gift for the two. Let me start by saying the website makes it seem so much better than it really is .. the "bungalows" are neat.. for children, but super small for adults. It kind of reminds me of a summer camp. It's a cute concept but not practical at all. They have a small fridge but no microwave or coffee maker. There's no table to eat your food you bring back, just your bed. You have to be Einstein to figure out the a/c unit, oh, bring your own fan if you want any type of circulation. Ran across a few roaches .. not palmetto bugs, roaches. They close the pool from 12-4pm? Why .. not a clue, but there is absolutely nothing to do when it is closed. You have access to the hotel across the way and their pool is open with a larger LEGO area to play in that keeps the kids occupied. The pathways are segregated. We stayed in lifeguard cove, although it's large .. they done have a direct path that goes through all of them. That would be neat to have a nightly walk. The free breakfast is the only reason it has two stars.. it's actually pretty tasty with quite a selection. The dinner situation, uncalled for. We stood to be seated for about 5 minutes without any acknowledgement so i asked somebody if anyone was coming and they said they would send somebody. The lady comes out 5 minutes later and tells us that dinner wasn't to be served before 5pm and we couldn't order or sit down, because they have to prepare the tables, it's now 443 and we haven't ate since breakfast. She also lets us know that we can order some food for takeout and sit at one of the tables outside... (after being in the Florida outside all day). I went to the "bar" and asked the lady Megan (the other reason this place got more than one star) if we could get a menu to get us and the kids some food and is she objected to us sitting at this little table by her bar. She was more than helpful and set us up and placed our order. She literally was a awesome person and did change our moods instantly. .. funny thing though, we asked if she could get us a bandaid and she returned saying they insisted that if we needed a bandaid, we'd have to call the medics .. lol. I tipped her well because she deserved it for going above and beyond. And then.. to hear the waiters mocking guests for their food orders .. :in sarcastic voice: "I'll just take a plain hamburger with nothing on it" and then snickers.. wow... Their so called activities... just save your money if your going to LEGO land and get a hotel somewhere else or just go to legoland and stay here for a night.. dont be a dummy like us and book two days and then go to LEGO land. read more

We rented 2 rooms at the Beach Resort since traveling with son and granddaughter. We thought they'd have their space and we, along with uncle would have our space. Thank goodness I spent the extra money! The room sleeps 5. Ok if just a mom and dad with 3 little kids. No way for 4 adults and one kid would be comfortable in one room! We arrived at 4pm, check in time. We asked for one bungalow. 2 rooms make up one bungalow. One room was ready, the other was not. Told to come back in 15mins. We parked and unloaded all our stuff in one room and decided to walk around. I was disappointed, the grounds looked worn. It's been hot, so that's why the grass was so brown. It just looked sad. Pool was closing because thunderstorms moving in. Dinner would start being served at 5pm. The check in is not a front desk, you have to pull though a gate and talk to the person in the window. Our room still not ready after 15 minutes, we decided to go out to dinner at local Restaurant. Many restaurants to choose from outside resort. We got back at 6pm, our room next door to sons was ready. Cute room. Granddaughter loved it. The only place to sit inside room is on the bed. There is a table with 4 chairs outside under covered porch. The bathroom could use more hooks. Only 2 to hang towels. 2 small bars of soap. NO cleaning service being offered at this time, if you need anything, just call or walk up to entrance gateway. I tried asking one of the cleaning women, but she didn't understand English. The bathtub would not drain, I had to hold up the drain plug at the end of my shower so the tub would drain out. Breakfast is included with your stay . Told to get there before 8:30 am or there will be a 20 minute wait. Shuttle to legoland stops running at noon and does not resume until 4pm, so we will drive over to park. Our parking pass from resort will work at legoland. **Forgot to mention If you don't purchase travel insurance and you need to cancel, you forfeit your payment. NO refunds. This is just our first day. So far my husband and I decided this is a one and done vacation. Don't plan on coming back. Staff is very nice, but for the cost of almost $1000 per room for 3 nights just not what we were expecting. Our 5 year old granddaughter is in Heaven and worth seeing her happy, but we are not planning to come back here again. I'm told the LegoLand hotel is nicer. Maybe we will stop by and look in before we leave. We will see how tomorrow goes at the Park. Oh, they do leave little bag of Lego's on the beds for the children to play with. Which is nice. Our granddaughter lucked out since she was the only kid! Again, no complaints about the staff, everyone very nice. We are used to staying at the Disney Resorts and this resort falls short in comparison. read more

Hotel was very nice. The beach huts were really cool and the kids loved the bunk beds They had lots of activities for the kids to do after the parks. Food was okay, a bit overpriced but kids meals were free which kind of made up for it. Rooms were clean and spacious. Service was quick and friendly. Was expensive but worth the price when you see the look on your kids face when they walk in. Didnt use the pool faciliry but it looked really nice. Smores by the pool at night were a great amenity. Spent more than what I would have wanted, but serves me right since I booked the day prior to travel. Room was very clean. A little congested for what was suppose to sleep 5. it was so hot and stuffy in our bungalow. the beds felt like rocks. the water was barely warm and the shower pressure was as light as a feather. the staff are rude and don't care about guests. if i could give this place a zero i would but i can't so i give it a one. the restaurant table is sticky and dirty. the small bowl of fruit is dirty and mushy. the "buffet" is not a buffet. they bring out a bit of everything from the buffet area so there's no point in even calling it a buffet. our server lady was very rude. everytime we asked for anything we were "bothering" her. learn to do your job. the coffee was cold. overall it sucked. read more

What a great stay for the weekend! We arrived early and checked in. We drove to the park while we waited for the room to be ready. Got a call at 2 pm. Easy check in from the car. Friendly workers at the check in. I would have to say we have stayed at many hotels and this by far has been one of the cleanest I've seen. Kids section included legos to play with. The room is very cool with bright colors and leaned towards everything LEGO's. Kids loved the room and the bunk bed and trundle. The next morning we had breakfast which is included in the stay. Breakfast was good and great way to start your day. The hotel was a little pricey but I guess we are in high holiday season. I do recommend hey should offer a Florida resident rate. Legoland is just down the street, very convenient if you need to drive. I do recommend his place if you are visiting with kids. read more

I'm really disappointed with the "beach retreat". I regret not staying at the hotel. I thought this would be better for family but I think the hotel would have been better because it smells sooooo bad and it's really dirty inside and out at the retreat. We came back from the park and Couldn't get the water in the shower to work for a while and learned that they have no one to call for help. The staff was really nice at check in. We didn't use the pool. Everyone saying that they've let it go and it looks run down is right. The rooms are extremely small and not comfortable at all for more than two adults or any older kids. There are also no after park activities like there are at the hotel. For the price, this was horrible. It's as good as a motel 6. read more

this place is horrendous!!! it deserves a -negative 1000 stars.my best friend and her son booked the stay for one night at the beach resort and one night across at legoland resort. she booked it over phone nov. 5th and nov. 8th her card was charged $280 for beach resort and $280 for legoland hotel. on dec. 4th we arrived and pulled up to a gate where a lady advised to give id and said she needed a credit card to hold a refundable $100 deposit so we give her the card and she goes and charges $380 ($100 deposit and another $280 for room) we asked why the $280 again if it was charged a month before and she said it was just a hold. her and the manager autumn didnt know what they were even doing so we decided to deal with it later. later on i had to call and spoke with a manager named ethan who said we booked online with third party kayak which is absolutely not accurate. he assured me he sees we were falsely charged again and he would reverse charge. it never happened! the room was disgusting dirty full of bugs and air filter above us was completely covered in 2 inches of dust. bugs in our ice bucket too. i had bites all over my body so i decided to check for bed bugs and pulled sheet off to discover a badly stained mattress... we had a rough night trying to sleep. at 3am we received an email saying we had a balance due of $317 and upon checkout the card on reservation would be charged. the next day we went to breakfast where the only nice thing there was a girl named serena. we asked to speak to the manager to discuss why we were about to charged a third time for a one night stay that was paid for a month before. the manager autumn came and we discussed how we paid nov 8 $280, were charged another $380 upon checkin and now being emailed another $280 plus $37 food charge at checkout. $977 for one night at this point and since its debit bank card all that money was debited from checking mind you my friend and her son came from puerto rico with a set amount of money budgeted to stay in orlando for a week after the beach retreat and legoland stay. autumn kept saying they were holds and when i asked why so many damn holds for one night at this nasty place her answer was "good question i dont know what to tell you" and when i told her about room too she asked for pictures didnt apologize and couldnt even help us resolve money issue and said ask them over at the legoland hotel. we were terrified to even check in over there next and be triple charged again. ashley and angel were actually pretty compassionate and helpful unlike the so called manager autumn who did nothing and knew nothing. why ask for pictures and do absolutely nothing after??? i would never go back or recommend that place to anyone ever!!!! now we have to wait and hope and pray all the charges and so called "holds" come off to allow my friend and her son to be able to carry out the rest of their vacation she saved all year for. the right thing would be at least comped for the beach resort with all trouble stress and horrible conditions we were subjected to. instead they must prefer unhappy customers who are now going to make sure the world knows what a scam they are pulling on guests and what a dump it is there read more
