Clean rooms. Professional staff. That warm pool though! Their immaculate heated outdoor pool was so nice! The weather was a little cooler the in evening so it was very nice to have access to the clean, heated pool to swim a few laps. Exercise room was great too. Easily more equipment that most hotel gyms. The breakfast was pretty typical of Hampton Inns. WE appreciated that the fresh fruit was fresh. They served scrambled eggs, ham and a variety of baked goods as well as cereals. The coffee was good and hot and they kept it full. The hotel was probably at capacity the night we stayed but as busy as they were all the staff was nice and the whole place was kept very clean. Walking distance from Outback, Red Lobster, CFA as well as a few other places. We had a nice stay here. read more

Very nice friend and help and staff. Pool is very nice and heated convenient to outback steakhouse to walk. I was surprised how small the rooms are because they always say it's Hampton Inn and suites. I guess we got a small room and we're Hilton honor member so I was kinda shocked. Marriott properties seem to have a rather common problem. They have at many properties deleted premium channels, switched providers and "offered" WiFi tv connections. Frequent properties can't keep them up and running. Here is no different. First we were told a truck hit a pole, then there was a power failure, then they had a system crash and days later "they are coming to fix it tomorrow". This or the perpetual spinning wheel as it attempts to buffer is not uncommon. So if it doesn't work when you are here, you can add to the excuse list. read more

Thank God I ended up at the Hampton Inn, after a horrible experience next door at the Holiday Inn. I walked in to simply see if they had any rooms available. Carl was behind the desk, helping a customer on the phone. I was greeted by Jack who just happened to be sitting there. Jack actually does the breakfasts at the hotel, and we had a very pleasant conversation while I waited for Carl. Not only did Carl get me set up for the night, but I also changed my reservations for the rest of my stay to the Hampton, and Carl made it so easy! I had several stays, over the course of a couple weeks, and Carl greeted me at the desk every time I checked in. He's a gem (and I tried to recruit him for my employer, to be honest). Every time I checked out, Mesha was the person at the desk who took care of me. Frankly, these 3 employees made this a 5 star experience! The room was fine. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was great. The location is convenient. But these 3 employees took a typical good experience and made it awesome. They were personable, and welcoming, throughout my visits. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough, based on the people employed there. Skip the Holiday Inn. The Hampton is right next door! read more

Tired Lady in an old Florida lake setting is in need of a desperate facelift. My room had a few improvements, ceiling pop corned, bathroom renovated and a nice size. Everything else is dated and worn out with a grey film. I knew something was off when I went to the laundry area more suitable to a third world country with busted wide open machines and the ones that work don't wash or dry clothes well. I wax checked in by a lovely couple that I assume own and operate the property. They are doing their best but this worn out lady needs to be bulldozed and resurrected. Anybody who knows me understands that the most important thing for me is the water in a hotel. Years on the road has taught me that there is nothing that can make you feel better than a nice hot pressure washing in the shower. This place did not have that. In addition to poor water pressure; the water stunk! Smells like old well water which isn't good for my beauty regime. The establishment claims to be ready for a remodel in time for fall '22 but they won't be replacing pipes; I'm sure. We stayed here last Thursday thru Saturday. Check in was quick and easy, the room was clean and comfortable. The staff was great. There was one staff member who seemed unfamiliar with the immediate surrounding as she could not tell us if there was a buffet in the area. Other than that she was okay but how do you not know this as a front desk person. We later discovered there are actually two. This is something I felt she should have known especially since one was very close. During our stay here there was also a senior softball league staying at the hotel it was a pleasure speaking to them. They are most certainly living their best life! This hotel is also very close to Lego-land about 2 miles. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again. read more

We stayed here because it was the only hotel that had available rooms for us. We have 2 young children and they put us in a room right next to the lobby. All you heard was ppl talking loudly at around 11 pm. I went out to the lobby with my mask on and asked them to quiet down because we had children that were trying to sleep. They had no masks on And did apologize but about an hour later the same ppl were back at it. The hotel staff also thought it was a great idea to vacuum the lobby at 4:30 in the morning. The breakfast was horrible. Usually breakfast has some sort of fresh fruit like bananas or apples or maybe some fresh oranges but nothing but sausage eggs and biscuits. The rooms also need updating. The floor carpet tiles are coming up and you can hear every movement in the beds. Needless to say if we ever have to stay in this area I will definitely be looking for somewhere else. read more

Our experience was delightful. We decided to stay another night before heading back to Miami after a full day at Legoland. I had points saved up, as a Hilton Honors member, and figured I would roll the dice on the three star yelp rating. Reception was pleasant and efficient. Our room reflected my reservation requests to be away from the elevator and ice machine. The room seemed it was recently updated. Everything was clean and in its place. The toiletries included makeup remover towelettes, mouthwash and assortment of Neutrogena products. The room has USB ports. Breakfast was included and they had more than you could expect. Cereals, biscuits, bagels, muffins, waffle machine, eggs, sausage, gravy, fruit. The area was kept clean and the staff was friendly when I asked with help finding the milk. The hotel was undergoing some renovation but it did not impact the quality of service at all. I would recommend this place to others. read more

Let me start by saying that we stayed here last year and weren't very impressed - we were also given "that room" above the automatic door that made noise all night and kept me up (they did comp us that night)... Fast forward to this year and it has completely changed for the better - the rooms and the lobby have been remodeled and updated!! Things look great! The room - spacious - stylish - fridge - comfy pillows and bed- great AC system - love the wood and white bathroom tiles - coffee maker with a little pack of Milanos! The lobby - nice eating areas - free much better than average hot breakfast/continental breakfast - great 24/7 coffee and tea service - hot popcorn and cookies in the afternoon - free papers - nice clean pool (outdoor)! Really impressed this time! Staff was very nice, helpful and efficient! My only heads up would be - most of the people that stay here are likely going to LEGOLAND, so just be aware that breakfast time can be crazy in the lobby!! read more

RUN!!!! Arrived and checked in only to discover they changed my reservation from a king to 2 queens. The world's rudest manager offered me $10 for my inconvenience in a 2 night stay. Open the bathroom which smelled "freshly used", only to find hair on the vanity and tub. The floor had not been vacuumed obviously because there were crumbs on the floor. The front desk clerk lied to us when we asked to speak to the manager. Do not trust a word these people say. I have stayed in Hampton Inn hotels all over, even in 3rd world countries. Never have I seen such a joke for a hotel. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Holiday Inn next door. Maybe you can save yourself the headache read more

We booked this hotel for our wedding. When we called to book the reservation we informed them we needed 4 rooms. 2 of which we needed the rooms to be conjoined. This was gurenteed to us. Upon checking in we were told by the so called night staff "Tamisha" that we were out of luck. She proceeded to argue with us over the issue. She was quite possibly the most ghetto person ive ever seen working a front desk. Upon check out we found out we returned our keys however she never actually checked us out in the system. This was middle of the road for Hamptons. It shares a parking lot with a Holiday Inn (I think) and it almost feels like they are the same property. The positives.... it is located very close to multiple shops, stores and restaurants, and several are within walking distance from the hotel. The negatives... really not too many. I am so picky with hotels. So, so, picky, but I'm also frugal and want the best of both worlds. This place was just right for me! The price was about $140 a night, not very cheap, but after many bad experiences at cheap hotels, this was perfect. The rooms/halls didn't smell bad. They were clean. The rug didn't have stains. Our sheets looked nice, white, and spotless, The beds were comfy. We had plenty of pillows and they were nice and soft. Bathroom was in good conditions. No musty smells. No mold. So I have no complaints. The breakfast was pretty good. It had a large selection to choose from. The lady who ran the breakfast bars was very helpful and on top of things. The place wasn't very full, so I don't know how crowded the one elevator and breakfast bar would get on a busy week, but we didn't experience any overcrowded areas, except when we checked in and there was only one guy at the desk, and he took quite a long time with each family. We had a great visit. We were in town for Tough Mudder and this hotel had the best reviews. Everything went great and the staff was friendly. Breakfast each morning was really good especially the banana bread waffles. We did lose the room key (card) twice and the staff was really friendly to replace them at no charge. I only had 2 small problems but nothing that would keep me from coming back; The shower pressure wasn't all the great and the elevator was somewhat slow but again, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. read more

Great hotel for the price. Stayed here on a trip to legoland, just 8 minutes away from the park and they offer a shuttle to take you round trip. The breakfast was good with lots of options and coffee selections. The manager of duty was very friendly and helpful. He even offered us a late check out, much needed before our flight out! Lenny Bass and Lisa Jennings are two of the most wonderful people you'll ever meet in your life at this Hampton Inn! This Hampton Inn is filled with kind and considerate people who truly care for each and every person who stays there. Lenny has helped me, a perfect stranger, in so many ways that I don't know where to begin. I suffer from ongoing, pervasive, extreme and life-threatening health problems. My husband and I have been visiting the Gessler Institute in order to seek some solutions for myself and we have been very pleased, happy, all of the above with the care and concern of all of the people who we have encountered in Winter Haven FL but it's Lenny who stands out in my mind since it's Lenny who I first spoke with after a most horrendous night in which I was sick all night long. My wonderful husband had gone down to eat some breakfast and take a short walk. Before he left I thought I felt well enough to begin getting ready to depart but unfortunately although my mind is willing, my body doesn't always cooperate. I am not elderly and I don't look sick but that doesn't mean that I'm not and I am only 56 years old. Shortly after my husband went downstairs, I began to feel really ill; I was too weak to look for or reach for my cell phone in order to call my husband so I dialed zero and Lenny answered. Lenny was astoundingly compassionate and kind and told me not to worry about checking out late and I appreciated his kindness so much! We have returned now 2 more times and will return again on Sunday and we have had the chance to get to know Lisa Jennings the GM who is also so great. I have met and spoken with Carrie, a young woman who is also so kind and so caring. Carrie is someone who will be successful in this life because of her most compassionate, kind, strong work ethic and more! Diana has been so kind to me as well. Diana keeps the breakfast area immaculately clean "as a whistle" and cares so much about people. Nicole has been kind to me as well (at our 1st stay I got locked out of our room due to my own clumsiness most likely) and I had the pleasure of seeing her again just yesterday. She greeted me so kindly and remembered me and I was most happily surprised because I'm nobody special and I wouldn't expect the people who work there to remember me. The fact that they all do and that everyone there has an extremely positive attitude, well it is just catching and so uplifting! Thank you to all of you who work at this most excellent and wonderful Hampton Inn! Your kindness is truly a miracle and truly the most happy experience I've had in a very long time. I'm a native New Yorker and I have never experienced this level of astounding care, beautiful clean pool, safe and happy environment, lovely people, beautiful, clean rooms, etc. etc.! This hotel was an extremely welcome site after visiting several of the motels close to Legoland to see how they looked. They were pretty nasty. This place was clean, welcoming and had the best breakfast buffet of almost any chain hotel I've stayed at for the price point. Yes, it's a bit pricier than the motels closet to Legoland, but worth every penny. The entire staff, especially Tami at breakfast, was extremely friendly and nice to talk to. Comfy beds, and even has a mini fitness room. Cookies in afternoon. It's not a luxury hotel, but it deserves 5 stars for its division. Highly recommend. read more

Never got to stay here because the management staff cancelled my 2 day stay, because my Credit card on my HHonors program had just expired. They called me; the day of my stay, as I was in the middle of a 6 mile run away from my house and wanted a current credit card right then. After multiple times being told they needed my card right now to hold my room, I kept saying I was 20 minutes away from my card. the female desk credit just kept repeating herself, I finally asked them "what the fuck do you want me to do?" in which the desk clerk transfered me to the on-shift manager, then he start into the same line and it was hotel policy that a current credit was needed to hold the room. At no time, did they say " call back in 20 minutes; after multiple times of him repeating himself I asked him the same question, and thus he hung up on me. So I ran, got to my credit card in about 23 minutes called the hotel, then they put me on hold for 10 minutes before the same manager got on the phone and said they cancelled my room. In talking to this Manager, he did offer a double room for one night. I told I like to talk to him in person (Because after 7 combat deployments, I have a little disability in talking when not happy over the phone aka PTSD) he then got on his soapbox asking multiple times "are you threating me" would even let me get in the fact that I have this problem speaking (or does he know that I have a license to practice Anesthesia and anything like an assult charge would result in me losing that license, and he isnt worth it) . If he would looked he would saw I booked under military rate. it was best to end the phone at this time. I called HHonors (Hilton and Hampton inn call line) and tried to re book or find another room. I had to stay 6 miles futher away from where I wanted to stay, because of this hotel's lack of service and inability to work with long standing Hilton/Hampton inn rewards members and the way they treat United States Military service members, Now, I would not even consider staying here. Rude staff, and when you treat them the way they treat you they get all bent out of shape, and in took Hilton hotline to ensure they didnt charge my card. Stay Away ! They will sell your room out from under you in second. read more
