My son rode the dragon Animal thing at the Brandon mall- what a mistake! He lightly bumped the back…read moreof my foot with the stuffed animal and the thing sliced the back of my ankle like a razor! There was quite a bit of blood and mall security had to come with first aid and file an incident report (they noticed, documented, and photographed the sharp metal edges) We had only rode the thing for maybe 2 mins (we paid for 20) and mall security brought the thing back to the mall stand and let the operator know what happened. Anyways, the guy working at the kiosk had the nerve to say there's no way it could have cut me and if it did it was my sons fault. My son is 6 and this had tears rolling down his face. Why the heck is there razor sharp medal edges on something that small children ride around a crowded shopping mall? Then, kiosk dude tells me he wouldn't refund me, he would just give me a free pass for next time. NEXT TIME? This piece of crap sliced me open. I'll never be back. Think twice before wasting your $8- you, or an innocent bystander may end up with a hospital visit.

Shipping is like $3.99 for small orders though, and Amazon is cheaper if you have Prime because there is no shipping. The benefit to a brick-and-mortar store despite a slightly higher price is being able to get the item today. MyTobbies has the single largest selection in the Tampa area. The manager/owner is almost never there (unless it's the morning and only during the week so good luck with your warranty or a return if you buy something), and employees have to get verbal permission just to give you your money back. There used to be a bunch of great people there (Kevin, Jeremy, Tim, John, Wyatt) but they are all gone. Bottom line, there are better places. Here are a few I enjoy. I found them because they are the only local retailer I could find that carries Black Oak Workshop dice. The Black Oak Workshop dice were great (I got 2 sets) and they had lots of really beautiful dice sets from other manufacturers if you are looking to add to a collection. Also, they have a good diversity of in-store events like ongoing Dragonbane, Red Dragon Inn, and Shadows of Brimstone campaigns that are open for drop ins.
