We had such a great experience with Legends - 100% recommend them! They have changed management since older negative reviews; everyone we interacted with was truly awesome! They called before our trip to make sure we knew the details once we arrived at JFK. Both drivers to and from the airport were kind and safe. We had a situation with delayed bags and our driver was so patient and communicative while he waited. Cars were clean and comfortable. There was a miscommunication when we booked our ride about waiting time; I called to discuss and got some of the best customer service from their team. They really want to make sure you have a great experience. We were picked up at LGA on September 24th by a lovely gentleman and quickly learned that we'd arrived during United Nations Week! He was great at getting us to our hotel in a timely manner considering how many routes were shut down because of the UN Gridlock. Great experience! This past weekend (Saturday, April 15th, 2023) was an exceptionally traffic-filled day in New York City, and in spite of those rougher conditions and muggy weather, Samir was able to drive me from Brooklyn to Lincoln Center smoothly - and in no time! I was actually at my drop off point earlier than expected, which meant I had extra time to relax and take in the sights before settling in to enjoy the performance I was there to see. Every consideration was given for a comfortable ride, including a supply of water on-hand as well as Samir turning on the AC at one point when needed. Used the meet and greet service to pick up my parents (over 70s) who just flew in from overseas at JFK. I realize the sh*t show that is JFK when trying to navigate the airport to order an uber so wanted to make it as easy as possible. This service was great, they were waiting right outside customs on time (early!) with signs and picked them up, dropped them off no issues. Customer service was great and very responsive. This was an awesome experience. Up front, I will tell you that the fee on the phone is only the RIDE FEE. There's a lot more. Ask for an estimate on the TOTAL price. Sure, that's sort of sketch, but 5 stars anyways. We called Legend the day our newborn baby needed to come home from the hospital. It was Thanksgiving and our other car cancelled. For 100 dollars less than Empire quoted me (and that's after I tipped 50 dollars), we got a huge, beautiful safe Lincoln SUV with a rear facing car seat. Hosam drove so safely and smoothly. He was kind and warm with us and our new baby. Drove us all the way from the upper west side to Brooklyn. Would absolutely do it again. read more

10 out of 10!! Legends was referred to us from a friend for airport transportation with a toddler. The driver arrived some 30 minutes early (at 4am!) with the car seat already installed. On our return trip, the driver waited patiently while we waited for our bags and was easy to locate at the airport (look for the LEGENDS license plate). I've been using Legends for nearly 20 years. They are super-reliable, friendly and offer modern/late-model cars. I was reminded how amazing they were this week when I accidently left a pair of glasses in my Legends ride. Driver Sunny (who I had not seen in years, but still remembered me) immediately relayed the info to the dispatcher who got in touch with me to let me know I had left something in the car. Since Arecibo is only so reliable, I occasionally have to branch out into unknown car services. Although the sample size is small (three uses), so far, Legends has been fantastic. They do not accurately charge you for rides. When you try to resolve with them they are not responsive. Vehicle for the correct number of passengers was not sent. It had car seats and other items loaded in and did not allow for our luggage to be safely and properly stored. It was a very uncomfortable ride. Office staff very unpleasant and lacked customer service. They stop answering the phone during certain hours. read more

This service is good getting to the airport and I have reliably used it for that purpose many times. DO NOT use the service getting home from the airport. The cars take forever to get there - to the point where I'm not sure they even stage drivers for scheduled pickups. Difficult to write a review for this service but I am compelled to. This morning I took my first car ride with another car company, which was strange as I am so accustomed to the same drivers our previous car service provider, Legends, offered. My company recently switched executive car service companies because of really one major screw up by Legends, hence the two stars. We had used Legends for quite some time as our preferred service provider for my company. Our holiday party, which included a very important appearance by our President, required Legends to send 3 large cars (van/suv) and a car. Long story short. : - We were 45 minutes late to our event which was 1/4 the time we had at the event. - We were threatened by the van driver who was late - One driver was blasting Indian music and was so disorganized, he was cleaning and planning the trip while waiting. Instead of conversing with my colleagues I had to help him the entire way. So now we use a different service company. I will say that I I'd didnt have any major qualms with the company until that day, but it was enough to say adios. read more

Last night I took my wife and 4 year old daughter to see the tree lighting @ Rockefeller Center, we decided to take car service there and back. Not wanting to have my family on the train this late my wife reserved a car to take us. I don't want to Butcher his name so we'll call him car 44, got us there and back safe and promptly. The young lady, Tamika, who took the reservation made sure we had a car seat for my daughter and that we got there in enough time to see the tree lighting for 6pm. For the ride home car # 44 was waiting for us at the designated location to take us back to Brooklyn. From this experience I highly recommend them. read more

I was running late between the post office and report time for a video shoot at The Bell House. My hope was to hail a cab on 4th, but nothing was coming that wasn't taken or off duty. I passed Legends on foot and decided to get a car there. Sweet, sweet air conditioning. The driver's friendly enough. The cab was clean. We were at my destination in a few minutes. But seriously, $10 for a 3/4 mile trip? Really? I'll bet one of the Papa John's delivery boys would've let me sit on his handlebars for half that. read more

I would have to say this is the WORST service I have ever had. We travel a lot and it is unbelievable that this company came recommended. First off, we called to book a car from JFK with a car seat for our toddler. No problem, booking was very simple and email confirmations came promptly. The issue was when the driver arrived at JFK. Our flight from SFO was late so we were picked up around 12:20am with our toddler. The driver did not utter a word. Okay, strange since most drivers are super chatty...It was late so whatever. We start driving and goodness, the guy took the wrong exit when his loud GPS clearly stated which exit to proceed. Then the GPS states go right, he goes left. At this point, we are VERY lost in an isolated place. We tell him to turn off his GPS and we will guide him. He denies he is lost...What! We guide the driver to our destination after telling him he has no idea where he is and we would like to reach there efficiently. As he unloads the trunk, he forgets a bag under his stuff and then we pay and his electronic reader is not working. So he does the payment manually, he forgets to give me my credit card and receipt! What is wrong with this driver, it is now 2am! I call the company, and the person defends him that he got the job and directions late plus it is his first time driving with the company. And the topper, well, he got you to your destination, right? REALLY!!! I get this BS at 2.30am. We paid $150 for the worst service. If this company could not handle a last minute pick up why commit to it? I call the next day to talk to a manager, they were apologetic but are working on a refund! Well, it is NOW A WEEK later and I have not heard back from them. As a business owner, I would respond immediately and take care of this not wait for a bad review. SAVE YOURSELF SOME MONEY and use a PROFESSIONAL service. These people obviously, have no professionalism. The WORST car service to date and we travel all over the world. Good grief. read more

The driver who drove my family around showed up late, was rude, and paid more attention to playing around on his cell phone than he did to the road until I asked him, and then yelled at him, to stop. He was reckless, and it was scary. I rode with them this winter, and it took me a couple of months to cool off enough to post this with objective detachment. That's how bad the ride was. As semi-pro athlete I travel at least 2-3 times a month to JFL and Newark Airports, it's like having my personal secretary, they check my flights coming in so that I'm never waiting at the airport for my ride home, and they always get me there on time for my flights. And if you ever get car # 44 he'll turn your day right around for you. They were highly recommended by a friend of mine that uses their service regularly also. Once they just failed to arrive, three times last week failed to help me with luggage (and I am six months pregnant). One guy tried to argue with me that I didn't need help when I asked him for it. I've used Legends Limousine for years always confident that they will get me to the airport on time and be there to pick me up. But, this last occasion proved their reliability. My granddaughter was on an international flight coming in to JFK and I had given them the wrong airline for pick-up. They picked up the error, searched data bases, identified the airline and worked with me to be sure that she received the correct information to find her driver. The kiosks were not in use and customs took over an hour. The driver waited and texted me to let me know she was in the car. I would give them more stars if I could. These guys have really solid, reliable service. I use it a lot and haven't ever had any complaints, with the possible exception that they're a little overpriced. But I figure that's the cost of good service, so I don't sweat it much. Until today. Normally I'd be giving a 5 star review, but last night I called and made a reservation, as I've done several times this week for me, my pregnant wife and some co-workers who are sort of stranded in Brooklyn. They quoted me the same fare I'm used to. A few hours later I called back and asked to add a stop in the same neighborhood before we headed into Manhattan. The operator didn't tell me there'd be any extra charge. When we get to our destination this morning, the driver tells me it's $10 extra. I said no, I'm paying what I was quoted. I paid the original fare and gave him a good tip on top of it. I called the service because they're usually pretty cool and figured they'd say yeah, it was a mistake, whatever. Instead they tell me the operator made a mistake by not reporting the extra charge, but I'm still responsible for it and that they're putting a hold on any reservations moving forward. A good business shouldn't treat a regular customer like that. Eat the $10 because you guys made a mistake and continue to get my business every day until the subways come back on. Instead, you're blacklisting me over an issue I didn't cause, and you're losing a good fare and good tips for your driver daily. I hope they make it right and if they do, I'll come right back here and amend this review and keep on using them like I always do. read more
