This has a different feel than any other gym I've been to. I love the atmosphere - everyone encourages and cheers each other on. There are no mirrors, no strutting, and no sense of competition. I've tried lots of gyms and this is the only one I've been able to stick with. Give it a try!!

I started at this gym about 7 months ago, never having done CrossFit in my life. I can't believe…read morehow much I've learned and improved in that time. I also had to take a few weeks off for a surgery, and in coming back, Coach James and Coach Lexi have helped and encouraged me every step of the way, helping me scale and tailor the workouts so I wouldn't cause any injuries. They are amazing and really know their stuff. I also can't say enough about the community at Muddy Water. I have quite literally gained another family since starting there. I've always felt awkward and out-of-place walking into other gyms, but this is never the case at CFMW. Coaches and other athletes alike, they are so incredibly welcoming, whether you're a beginner or athlete- all skill levels welcome! Highly recommend for anyone looking for an awesome gym.

This box has a great facility and there are some games-level athletes that have trained here but my…read moredrop-in was disappointing. The coach never asked about my skill level, experience, or injuries. She told me that the first part of the hour would be 10 minutes of ROMwod which would have been good but she just turned on the tv and walked away... I didn't even know that it had started and the volume was so low on the TV that I had to constantly look up to see that the pose had changed. The WOD was very challenging for strength and endurance and fortunately not technical because the coach gave no points of performance or skill reinforcement. If you've been doing CF for a long time and just need to drop-in, this box is fine. If you're looking for solid coaching, this box (or just this coach) may not be the place. ps - I really don't like leaving negative reviews.

This is in response to Anthony J's review and his 25 year old adult child. The real reason…read moreyour(dad) showed up is because Ryan called him out for beating up the WOMEN & CHILDREN the day before in class!!! He has been cracking them like they are grown men, after multiple warnings from multiple people! I had to get onto him smacking around my 11 year old. I told him to tone it down and 10 Seconds later he throws a full blown spinning heel kick to the liver and drops an 11 year old???You guys should be embarrassed of yourselves and you give MMA a bad name! You should be ashamed for your sons actions and the way he behaves in there(what 25 year old brings their dad in anyways, lol)!!!! Please do us all a favor and stay away.

Fascia Class-Valerie taught the class and it was definitely challenging. I love the concept of this class and the release that happens from this style of rolling. Val is an excellent instructor. She keeps it light and fun. Her style is perfect and it seems everyone feels comfortable in these challenging fascia release movements. Aerial Yoga-Karlene is an incredible instructor. I've taken aerial in the past, at another studio, and this was the experience that I've been seeking. I loved the flow. It was gentle, yet challenging. Karlene also gives detailed instruction and guidance so I knew exactly what I should be doing, while protecting my body. I encourage everyone to take a class with Karlene. I wish I had a Karlene in my town!

I visited this studio while I was in St. George and tried the 10am Hot Vinyasa class with Jasher…read more The studio itself was clean, welcoming, and I loved the overall feel of the space. The heat in the room was incredible; it got very hot, which I personally really enjoyed and felt added to the practice. I also loved his choice of music. That said, I did struggle with a few aspects of the class. It was very difficult to hear the instructor which made it hard to follow along, everyone was looking around to see what we needed to be doing. The instructor would slam his hands on the ground and the frequent slamming was jarring and distracting. There were repeated pauses to watch demos which often pulled me out of my flow. I also found it challenging to fully relax in savasana as he talking the entire time, which made it hard to end the practice in a restorative way. Overall, I really appreciated the heat and the cleanliness of the space. With clearer instruction delivery and a bit more space for stillness at the end, I think this could have been a much better experience.
