I came to this gym because I was visiting from out of town. I do belong to VASA Fitness and I'm…read moreglad that this is not my local gym. It looks like the building has been updated but none of the equipment has been. The machines were all pretty old, and in fair condition. I went on a Sunday morning right when they opened, and the trash was overflowing in the women's bathroom. I also stepped on a loose screw which got stuck in my shoe in the bathroom. Giving it three stars was a little bit generous. I figure this facility gets pretty busy and is really due for an upgrade.

Again. Last November it was out for nearly a month. Same laminated sign. Same vague timeline. Same "maintenance" fog where accountability should be. Let's be clear: this is the only steam room in Washington County. If there were another option, I'd already be gone. The only reason I maintain this membership is access to that amenity -- the one advertised, promoted, and built into the monthly fee. A membership is a transaction. I pay. You provide what you advertise. Since this location can't seem to keep a core amenity operational, maybe it's time the people at the top hear about it directly. VASA is backed by private equity firm Silver Oak Services Partners, and led by CEO Rich Nelsen. When a company scales across multiple states and markets premium amenities, operational consistency isn't optional -- it's the business model. If the steam room is going to be chronically unreliable, say that plainly. Don't market it as a feature if it's a recurring casualty of "maintenance." Members shouldn't have to escalate basic facility upkeep beyond the front desk. But when a pattern repeats, escalation becomes reasonable. Fix it. Maintain it. Or adjust the membership pricing and advertising to reflect reality. Right now, it feels like we're paying for a promise that keeps evaporating. And steam, at the very least, should show up. Sincerely upset, A.P. Yeager

One of the Best Decision…read more Going to Lifestyle Fitness was one of the best decisions I've made in years. From start to finish it exceeded my expectations. I've been to two different fitness camps in Florida and I can tell you that Jen & Chad know what they're doing and have developed a program with rich diversity in activities, and is supportive and effective. You start your journey with a medical assessment that determines your metabolic resting rate so that you know how your body burns calories and determines your body mass index. These two key measures are baselines that will help you while there and beyond. They also take you to a running store and buy you a pair of good running shoes. I'm a former runner and have difficult narrow feet to fit and was really impressed with the knowledge of the store employees and the fitting. Your days start with invigorating hikes in the breathtaking red rock mountains of Utah, followed by two different personal training sessions late morning and late afternoon in a wonderfully equipped and impressive gym. As a member of the gym while your there you can also go back to the gym on your own time; you can swim, play basketball, or any other activity you want to do. Everyone works at their own level, there's no pressure to do things that you can't or hurt (do it former injuries or rarely used muscles) although they encourage you to push yourself in a way you wouldn't if you were home or working out by yourself. That's exactly why I was there - - I needed someone to push and encourage me out of the slump I was in. I was looking for a kick-start to a fitness program and commitment I could bring home and that's exactly what I got. In the process I connected with the people who were in the program while I was and made some friends for life. The house you stay in has enough room and spaces that you can be by yourself in your room or in the multiple common areas or outside. It works for both the introvert and the extrovert. It was a supportive environment, with encouragement from both fellow participants and Jen and Chad. A bonus for me was the golf package golfers of any level can add to their stay. I played some beautiful courses, had time for the driving range, and had some great lessons. Playing golf with Chad was some of the best times I had while I was there. Both Chad and Jen are down-to-earn, kind people who are a joy to be around. I highly recommend Lifestyle Fitness for those that need to make changes in their lives, both big and small. It's a program that fits everyone's needs. My only regret was that I was there for two weeks, I would have loved to have stayed longer.

When given the opportunity, I always speak very highly of Jen & Chad's program at Lifestyle Fitness…read moreCamp. I have found Jen to be highly knowledgeable as a fitness coach and nutrition consultant and her gentle guidance to be extremely effective, especially when compared to other diet and fitness programs that I've participated in. The daily hikes that Chad leads make the whole program fun and the magnificent vistas the hikes traverse make the experience genuinely spiritually renewing. As a person who has had somewhat debilitating rheumatoid arthritis for the past 20 years, I especially appreciate Jen & Chan's willingness to tailor their instruction to be age and fitness-level appropriate for the program participants. That, and their friendly, upbeat and encouraging manner makes it easy to remain engaged in their program. Additionally, Jen is very conscientious in providing her participants with dietary plans and exercise routines that they may take home at the conclusion of the program. This past month, I was able to complete a 7 day, 60 mile self-guided backpacking trip in Colorado's Weminuche Wilderness in the southern San Juan mountains. This trip involved hiking and camping above 10,000' for much of the trip and carrying a heavy pack more than 12,000' vertical feet in ascent over 3 high passes. This is the kind of physical activity I haven't done since my teens and I could never have accomplished this as a 65-year-old with out the fitness training Jen & Chad provided to me over the past 4 years. I have no hesitancy in recommending the Lifestyle program to my friends and acquaintances or to anyone interested in changing their life through renewed fitness.
