Not only is the coach a Marine veteran like myself. He also is a serious Jiu-Jitsu competitor! I could not believe my luck in finding this place in such a small town in Southern Utah. On a more serious note I had two rods put in my back years before finding Patriot and I wasn't sure I would be able to train. Coach Dwight gave me exercises that helped me eliminate pain and continue to train regularly. He also modified exercises for me when necessary so that I could get the training I needed. The academy itself is really clean and there is a lot of parking. They have ample mat space as well as a lot of seating with a couple of couches and a wall of chairs to spectate from.
