After browsing Yelp, checking reviews and photos, I booked an appointment at Legends Barbershop with Carlos, and I've been going ever since. Hands down, one of the best barbers I've ever had. Cat is your go to for the haircut you need and deserve. Before getting my haircut by Cat, I used to get it done by the same barber for over 20 years. My family and I moved away and needless to say, I was pretty picky when finding a new barber. I tried barbers from all over Murrieta and Temecula but could not find the right one. I even slid into Legends Murrieta a few times and still could not find the right one until I came across Cat. She is super professional, easy to talk to, and gives honest feedback on styles. I even brought my 5 year old son to her who hated getting g his hair cat. Unlike other barbers who were afraid to cut my boy's hair (because he's a kid and might be difficult), Cat welcomed him with open arms, made him laugh, gave him candy and he now looks forward to his cuts with Cat. Took 30 minutes of waiting while there were barbers open just talking and waiting around. finally I get to a chair and then got not only not anything close to what I asked for but the worst haircut I've ever had. I haven't even gotten my cut yet, but i made an appointment and still am waiting for some kind of service. Pretty frustrating considering that while you are making an appointment there is a statement about if you are 5 min late that is not good. I have been waiting for 17 min now and not as much as a check in process is in place. The place seems nice, but nothing here to make you think that you are actually going to get attended to. I'm not used to writing reviews, but recently my boyfriend had a very unpleasant experience. He called for an appointment, which they said they had availability for a walk-in. My boyfriend traveled from Menifee to Murrieta and was greeted with a "what's up, your the one that called?", not with a formal greeting, which seemed like they had some sort of entitlement. It's very disheartening to see young men act this way in a setting that should have some sort of good customer service or engagement. Usually, my boyfriend books with Hugo, and Hugo always gives you an experience that you want to book with him again. Sadly Hugo wasn't there that day which just comes to show the lack of customer service these young men have at that shop. With that being said my boyfriend ended up going elsewhere since he was left waiting there for over 20 minutes and then when he left he was later called and they said "Were you just at the barbershop? I have time for you to come in"... Very disheartening since my boyfriend just came from working out of town and hasn't been able to get a haircut. Wanna give a shoutout to my barber Frankie. I moved to this area about 3 years ago and tried 4 different barbers until I linked with Frankie. I always request the same cut from any barber - medium fade, scissors up top for a small comb over. After I got my first cut with Frankie, all the compliments came pouring in from friends, family, and coworkers. Every other barber easily got shadowed by his fade. "Yo where do you get your haircut???" He is very meticulous with the clippers and is receptive to feedback and adjustments.
