The worst food I've been served in years. Steak bites might be spam -there were four skewers w/2 small fatty pieces on each. $16. Chicken wild rice soup..... SO much pepper. I ordered it for my 10 yo and she couldn't eat it. Flat dry biscuit came with it (they called it a dinner roll, it was less than 1 inch high). Wedge salad was good but pricy $18 (no meat) and about a quarter of a head of lettuce. Kids burger decent. Came with a group and my friend's kid was served a very raw chicken strip. kids pizza was all sauce - not even kidding. I would give zero stars if I could. Gross. read more

Stopped into Legends for post work drinks and apps, and had such a great time! The highlight? Hands down the Legendary Old Fashioned -- smooth, perfectly balanced, and easily one of the best I've had in a long time. The pizza was also delicious -- crispy crust, great flavor, and perfect for sharing. But the real standout was the bartender, Austyn. Friendly, attentive, and clearly knows her craft. She made us feel right at home and absolutely nailed our drinks. If you stop in, ask for Austyn and treat yourself to one of her delicious Old Fashioneds. You won't regret it! read more

We attended the Easter brunch on 4/5/2026 and we were not happy. We were charged a 20% gratuity up front when it was a buffet with no waiter/waitress. The food was just typical hotel food and almost all of it was cold. We were also told that there was no prime rib left and most of the dessert was also gone. We had made a reservation at 1 pm but apparently if you didn't have an earlier reservation then they didn't care if you got hot food or access to all the food options. For the cost of $90 for two people I expected better quality food, all the options and food that was hot! read more

Loved the clean nice atmosphere. Menu items are a little updated from the usual fare. Service was decent. I had the broiled walleye with seasonal veggies and mashed potatoes. The veggies were fresh and well prepared and it was a very nice surprise. The fish was adequately prepared with a few mildly fishy bites. The mashed potatoes were real, fresh and clearly house made. The whole dining experience was very pleasant and the food was overall well prepared, fresh and clearly made in house. Good job Legends. read more

I had the chicken bbq flatbread for lunch. My meal came out fairly quick and was warm. I would have liked the cheese a little more cooked but it tasted good and filled me up. My server was friendly and keep my drink full. The restaurant was clean and I really liked all the TVs they have to watch. I will be back for a larger meal sometime in the future. read more

Was very excited to try the revamped Legend's. Unfortunately, the experience was not great. We visited during happy hour on Friday, September 22nd. We were seated and told by a waiter that he had a party of 20 coming in and "probably shouldn't take our table" but would because the other server was late. Within a few minutes, a waitress came by and asked what we wanted to drink. I asked what the rail vodka was and the waitress stated "I'm not sure, I think it's Bacardi." Understanding that she clearly didn't know, I just told her rail would be fine. Another in our party asked about the Bloody Mary and the waitress stated some people didn't like it due to it having sweet and sour in it. Not sure what she meant. Another person in our group asked for a vodka Red Bull and asked if there would be any up charge for Red Bull during happy hour. The waitress stated it would be "like a dollar more." She had 2 vodka Red Bulls and when the bill came, it was $3 more per drink. Before we ordered food, the waitress stated they were out of wings (which was advertised on the happy hour menu) and the turkey club sandwich. Two of us ordered the boom boom shrimp flatbread. Mine came out first (pictured), we were told the other would be out in 5 minutes. 10+ minutes later it came out and had cabbage and green onions on it (as it was advertised on the menu.) The waitress apologized and said she could bring a side of cabbage and onions. I declined. Another in the group ordered the smokey chicken flatbread, it came out missing the chicken. We went to Legends before attending a concert at the Ledge. It was busy, however we waited 20+ minutes just to get a waitperson to stop at our table. Then that person left and another came back about 10 minutes later. By then some of our group left. We eventually ordered food and everyone got the wrong order. It was a disaster. I will say a manager finally stopped over and apologized profusely, comped our drinks and gave us some gift cards. There was a live singer and she was very good. I will say I have eaten there other times and the food was very good. This was a bad night but I would suggest avoiding concert nights. keeping to a small group, and/or getting there very early. read more

Visited Legends at 6:30 on a Friday. Ordered a sirloin steak with baked potato. Sorry.....they were out of baked potatoes. The waitress told me they had 800 guests at the attached hotel and ran out. So I settled for mashed potatoes. I asked for chimchurri sauce on my steak which is also on the menu as an add on. The waitress told me she never had anyone ask for that before. A few minutes later the waitress returned and said they were out of chimchurri sauce. Funny how they can be out of something on there menu which is rarely ordered. I said fine....what kind of steak sauce do you have? She's told me the chef doesn't allow steak sauce. So I said I'll take a steak salad with blue cheese dressing. She told me they were out of blue cheese dressing... so I settled for Greek vinaigrette. Good grief with a Walmart and a Costco how can you be out of so much stuff? read more

My advice: with so many other options available in St. Cloud, skip Legends. There's nothing memorable or appealing about this place. Our experience was repeatedly awkward. We took our family out to eat here because we had a $50 certificate to use. First, the host had a difficult time finding space for us to sit as a family. He chose an awkward location in the corner and began assembling tables together that were different sizes to try to make it work. We saw some tables already together near the stage, and asked if we could just sit there. Once we were seated, some of us were given menus, but three of us were not. Some of us also didn't have silverware. It was like there were significant gaffes at every turn. Our server was friendly, but trying too hard. That was uncomfortable. The food, when it arrived, was average. The alfredo penne and chicken caesar salads were pretty good size. The reuben was tasty. The french fries were crispy. All three of us who had burgers noticed that there were underdone, with a fair more pink in them than we would have liked. I hesitated sending it back and hope I won't live to regret that decision. The chicken wild rice soup was a bit thin, but had good flavor. It was a meal. It arrived at the same time. It was hot. Those are the best things that can be said about it. Otherwise, there wasn't anything that particularly stood out. In the end, even with a $50 gift certificate, we still ended up having to pay $50 for our food. It's expensive for what you get, and there are very few items on the menu for less than $10. The atmosphere of the restaurant/bar is a bit odd with it's different levels. This is a hotel restaurant, and I simply wouldn't recommend it. If you're stuck at the hotel with nowhere else to eat, then so be it. Otherwise, I'd recommend crossing Highway 15 and eating at Granite City, or walking a couple of blocks away to eat at Red Robin or Buffalo Wild Wings, or any of the other places nearby. read more

As the name suggests, this place is truly legendary. Legendary for being abysmal. It is truly one of the worst places I have ever had the unfortunate curse of placing their food into my curious mouth hole. Let's cut to the chase, the only reason they have the second star is because the staff is top notch, they have a full stage and dance floor, and the bartenders are solid. I do not feel comfortable referring to their "food" as food. It is so fake and overly processed I'm fairly certain it does not contain enough actual "food" components to legally be referred to as "food." They make no attempt to hide the fact that what they're serving you is lukewarm trash. The server arrived carrying an expression that said "I am so sorry for what I'm about to give you." Since this establishment has made the poor choice to not sell food, there's nothing to technically eat, but you can certainly feel free to "sit next to" the chemically enhanced table scraps they serve you, or you can also "witness" these questionable items, but you can not eat them. My delegation was trapped in the Holiday Inn hotel during a massive snow storm. We were staying here for the Arrowhead Model UN conference and part of our Friday night schedule had listed the option to go to this bar for socializing and karaoke. Although this was not a club, they were only letting 21+ into the place, which I thought was a bit disappointing. Many of the students who had rented rooms here were 18+. This restaurant was very similar to an Applebee's, so I don't understand why they could not run it as such and have the actual server check IDs instead of the hostesses. Karaoke was fun, but the restaurant only served food until midnight and the place shut down completely at 1am. Again, this is more similar to Applebee's, so why not let everyone in? If they are going to run it as a strictly bar or club then they should keep it as such and stay open until 2am. Food was OK. I probably wouldn't have put this on the top of my list if A) we hadn't been stormed in and B) I wasn't 22. Drinks were mostly $5, so were appetizers. The onion rings were pretty good and they serve huge tater tots that look like ginormous marshmallows. I'd have given them just 2 stars, but I'm a sucker for karaoke. They atmosphere was good overall and the karaoke man made it more lively. They also kept the drinks coming. read more

Went with my in laws for the "Sunday Brunch." The worst meal I've ever had in my life. The omlette which was supposed to be mushroom, onion, sausage was made with liquid eggs with no option of fresh. When my omelette was delivered it was paper thin, no cheese, and the contents were wrapped an egg roll as opposed to being incorporated in it and to boot the mushrooms and onions weren't close to cooked. No lunch selections other than over cooked chicken. If this was an $8 brunch I would have felt ok but this was a $15 brunch. Are you kidding me??!? read more

Legends has some good food. Def. a few unique items. Wild Rice soup is awesome. So are the wraps. Appetizers are huge. You get good portions for your money. Only complaint is that you use to have football specials a few years back and now, nothing!?! Really!?! I went there once during a Vikings game and there was like nobody in there. Why not have some appetizer and drink specials to get some of the locals in? You have such a great huge screen for sporting events, why not draw people in to use it!?! I call every year to see if you guys have changed and added any. Last year the dude that answered the phone acted like I was insane for asking. Umm... newsflash, 99% of bars have Vikings specials! Prices are matched with much better restaurants. Steaks are tough, Walleye is pre breaded and marginal. I ordered Salmon and it was COLD in the middle after them telling me they had to cook it to 145 degrees. By the time it came back my potato was cold and the meal was a bust. If the weather permits, You can get a MUCH better meal down the street for equal price. Stayed at the Holiday Inn and went to the bar to check out the band (Good band "Pull Start Diesel), this is where the good ends. We sat at a table and were promptly greeted by a server after a 20 minute wait, when our drinks arrived I thanked her and got a "yep". After another 45 minutes she came back and asked if we would like another...um, yes please. After the band took a short break I ordered another, had to catch her as she wandered by, and waited until the band took their next break (an hour and 15 minutes). I went to the bar and asked the bartender for my tab. I got attitude from a bartender who was busy talking to the "bouncer", and was asked who my waitress was. I informed her that I had no idea as I had only seen her at the table twice in 3 hours. The waitress then found me with my tab and asked for payment, which would be fine had she returned my credit card that had been asked for when I started a tab. The beers were cold, the wife said her drinks were mixed well, but the service was WELL BELOW AVERAGE! - On a side note we did go for breakfast at the cafe of the same name the next morning and the food and service were great! They just need some SERIOUS help during their evening/night hours! read more
