That's clearly communicated when you're greeted, so naturally it sets the expectation for shareable portions. We started with the ricotta and meatballs. Overall, portions felt on the smaller side, but the ricotta, especially at $18, was honestly a bit shocking in size. When we asked about it, a server jokingly said "inflation." I get it, but still. The two guys I dined with come here often and were actually the ones pointing out that portions have seemed to shrink. For mains, we each ordered a pasta. One was a server recommended agnolotti with crab, corn, and roe. It was decent, but the broth felt a bit too loose and could've used more depth and richness. That said, the crab portion was generous, the pesto was great, and the red sauce pasta was solid. We also ordered two pizzas, hands down the highlight of the meal. Easily the best thing we had. One small but off putting detail, the red pepper flakes were served in an open jar rather than a shaker. It made me question how many hands had been in it, especially since it appeared to have been reused from another table. Not the most sanitary presentation. Dessert was a strong finish. Panna cotta, tiramisu, and olive oil cake were all fresh and delicious. Drinks included a cocktail for me and beers plus an espresso martini for the table, all fine. Service wise, things started okay but felt rushed toward the end. We even mentioned we were still picking at food and what seemed to be a manager still cleared plates from the table. The tables themselves are also very small, which doesn't help when you're doing family style dining. Our server appeared to be training someone but never introduced them, which made things feel a bit awkward. Also, when resetting silverware, it felt rushed and a little careless, almost tossed onto the table rather than placed. Overall, the experience was good but not great. The food had its highlights, but portion sizes versus price and some service missteps held it back. 6/10, and honestly it reminded me why I hadn't felt the urge to come back before.

I visited on a Saturday morning during St. Patrick's Day weekend, and coupled with the Savannah Bananas in town, this cute cafe was busy. There was definitely a line, but they have signs posted asking for patience and explaining that each crepe is made with care and honestly, that set the tone. My first visit took about 15 minutes for my crepe, but wow... so good. I was completely overwhelmed by all the options, thought I had made my decision, then got to the register and saw the featured crepe: chicken bacon ranch. Had to pivot and I'm glad I did. But the biggest standout for me? They offer gluten-free crepes that actually taste GOOD. Not dry, not cardboard-like , but they've truly nailed the batter. That alone made this place memorable. On my next visit, I got the huevos rancheros crepe to-go and OMG so flavorful, super satisfying, and packed with protein and fiber. The side salad with their homemade dressing was also a hit. And the staff? So warm and welcoming. They remembered me when I came back and greeted me like family, which just made the whole experience even better. Their espresso is also VERY good quality. If you're in the area, expect a bit of a wait but trust me, it's worth it.

If you are headed to a conference please be ready to wait in line especially if you order a crepe. It gets really busy around 8:20. So if you have a 9 am meeting, get here earlier. It looks like they only have 2 crepe machines, so order can get piled up. The crepe I order was very yummy. The space is pretty small as well. I wouldn't recommend coming with a large group.

We were across the river and I found this spot via Mapquest. It is a small, quaint, hole-in-the-wall type place. Limited selection but everything looked delicious. She even offers a bag of doggie treats! Though Eclair is in the title, they didn't have any available when we went. However, I was easily talked into trying the creme brûlée crepe cake as a substitute for the eclair. We left out of there with half dozen macaroons, a gold encrusted oreo cupcake, the crepe cake slice, and a bag of doggie treats. The macaroons are simply delicious, flavorful and colorful. The oreo cupcake was a hit, and devoured quickly. My son and I split the crepe cake and it was surprisingly light. I wasn't sure what to expect with the multiple layers but was delightfully thrilled with the taste. And true to form, it had the torched sugar crusted topping. Definitely worth returning for more. Aladdin also devoured his doggie treat with gusto. One thing to note, the crepe cakes have to be ordered ahead of time and purchased whole. We were fortunate to have been able to sample a slice. I will definitely be placing an order soon. Overall, a superb find and well worth the trip. I will be returning.
