After negotiating the price and driving 2 hours, the salesperson said the owner wanted an additional $350 on top of the agreed price, claiming they wouldn't make money otherwise. Then, after going back and forth for 20min about this extra amount we decided it request our deposit He then called us back 5 min later to say we could have the car for the original price. Everything was fine then two days later it's been in the shop every week since I've owed it and the warranty doesn't work as told. I got it December 2025. This is a long story so get a drink and a snack friends. First off I've been dreaming of a Jeep wrangler my entire life. It's a big deal a huge deal if you may. I went down here 3 different times looking. Imagine this it's a hot day end of July 2025. I was very point blank with what I was willing to pay out the door. I knew I also wanted a warranty because well jeeps have problems. Yes I already know you don't have to tell me but I was prepared already. Over the asking price by 2,000 but I really wanted her shes so beautiful. I noticed on the test drive she had a problem speeding up but I thought maybe she's just slower no worries I'll upgrade later on. Finally get the heck outta there. I was so happy! Literally two weeks later the transmission slips. I'm at the stop light on greenback and auburn. The Jeep violently jerks in the intersection. I'm scared and upset. I call Ben no help there. All he said was did you purchase the warranty? So that tells me already they are not gonna do anything about it. So I have to wait 1,000 miles till my warranty will do anything. So I'm just driving around in a Jeep that could just break down anytime. During this time my track bar also falls off on cypress ave. on my way to drop my daughter off at school. My daughter and I could literally could have died. The entire Jeep started to shake violently. I get out and look underneath the track bar is off. I don't bother to call. They won't help anyway because Haad said he knocked the price down 1,500. So no room for repairs. Even my messed up rearview mirror. It took over 2 months to get it fixed with the warranty and another 1,000 dollars. Also track bars are not covered by the warranty. I noticed the alignment with my tailgate was off about 2 weeks after I bought it. That problem was far down on the list. So the other night I go to the store and finally use my tailgate. Wouldn't you know it wouldn't close. My partner had to sit in the back seat and hold it closed. It's really heavy by the way. It flew out right out of his hands driving home. I wasn't going to leave a review TBH. The more I thought about it I decided the people need to know. My opinion dont go here. I wouldn't recommend. I wouldn't even send my enemies here. I'm sure some people have an excellent experience but I didn't. There should be a option for negative stars. Anyway if you made it this far thanks for reading. read more

This dealership sold my son (and I as I co-signed) a Cadillac Escalade that made it exactly 61 miles (the drive from sac to tracy, out home) before the motor went bad. We purchased the extended warranty out of an abundance of caution. So I was not worried.. As advised by the warranty company I took it to my Local GM dealer where they diagnosed it as needing a new motor. except the warranty company said the car was defective and not fit for sale to begin with so they wouldn't do anything about it. I paid for the diagnostic, paid for the tow (tracy to tracy Chevrolet) and then the to back to Sacramento to the dealer. At which point they said give me 8-10 days and we will replace the motor. Then they called asking me to pay $2000 towards the new motor.. I declined as I already paid over $1000 for the tows and diagnostic work done elsewhere. That was weeks ago and they won't even return my calls at this point. They have federal and state regulations that make it possible to get your money back regardless of what a dealer says. If it breaks right away, it was not fit for sale to begin with... those are federal and state laws that this dealer seems to think do apply to them. Now, I guess I have to hire an attorney because I'm paying for insurance and monthly payments on a car that sits back at their dealership. My son is in the marines and can't handle these matters because he's currently deployed overseas. .. it's just crazy to me that they basically ignored me and my good will until I basically have no choice but to start a law suit. If you've read this far what I can say is this, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE, they have no desire to satisfy obligations, customers or even common courtesy of returning phone calls. Spoke with Ben on 12/11/25 about their 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser at their 2171 Fulton Avenue location in Sacramento, California. I eventually purchased the FJ after multiple calls, emails and videos from Ben. Once I received it, it was obvious there were issues from the beginning due to it being low on coolant. I didn't even drive it 5 miles before it was determined it had a blown head gasket and after talking with Haad, they knew about it. It was traded in to them like that and they sold it to me like that, even told me it ran and drove great, without problems. Spoke with Haad over the phone when he initially said he would help me with the cost of the engine rebuild but then wouldn't return my calls or message. BUYERS BEWARE!! read more

I purchased a 2015 Porsche Panamera and was told nothing was wrong with the vehicle. Anyone who knows about this vehicle the maintenance isn't cheap. Day one the car started shaking. I got a wheel alignment. Day 2 I had to get the control arms adjusted because Legend claimed Sac Porche did the work and they didn't tighten the bolts and adjust them. Two weeks after that the coolant light and oil light came all fluids were completely empty. Let me remind you, I only drove the car from the dealership to home and to the shops for repairs. I also bought a warranty from them and the company would not honor the warranty for the control arms. Lastly now i'm told I need new tires and brakes and Mich... tires run $2,500 plus. I swear I should had listened to this other dealership who said do not buy a vehicle from them. And yes, I reported everything I'm telling you to Legend own and the sales person who didn't even offer to pay me some of my money back. DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM THEM BECAUSE THE CAR MIGHT LOOK FANTASTIC ON THE OUTSIDE BUT THE MAINTENANCE IS UNSATISFACTORY AS WELL AS THEY WARRANTY. I am pissed!!!!! Called ahead to see a vehicle that was advertised in "excellent, excellent condition" with clean carfax. The gentleman said it's worth the drive because it was in stellar condition. After driving 2 hours (which they knew), we could immediately see two unmatching colors in the paint. The car clearly was in an accident, despite what the carfax mentioned, it was not in excellent condition. Plus who doesn't match the colors when having body work done? Do they really think it's worth just taking a chance that we would not notice something so obvious. The answer is yes! This tells you how shady these people are, no concern about someone's time. I recently purchased a 2016 Lexus RX 350 F Sport from this place. Everyone was very nice from the time I walked in. I haggled with Sam the finance guy on the price for a bit, but that was the only stressful encounter I had with them (Sam is very nice. He's just doing his job). I feel like a lot of the bad reviews on here are people who may have not done their due diligence. When you buy from a used car dealership you should always take the car to a trusted mechanic BEFORE purchasing the car, which they will let you do. The mechanic told me the car overall was in great condition with just minor things to look out for in the future. I also got an extended warranty from the Lexus dealership. I did my research and everyone says the manufacture warranty is better than a third party. All in all I love my car and my experience with Legend Auto was great! read more

First, let me say we worked with Ben and he was very pleasant to work with. But, I'm sure, he was working with what he was told. We were told the vehicle we were purchasing had been fully serviced and was ready to go so we didn't do a complete safety check. We later found the car hadn't been serviced at all! We're 5 1/2 hours away so had driven there to complete the purchase and drive home the same day. As soon as it got dark, we noticed it only had one working headlight. The next day, I started checking closer. The battery terminal was completely loose, I tightened it. Two days later, the 6 year old battery died! We were checking the cabin climate system, the fresh air system wouldn't work. The cabin air filter had been incorrectly installed at some point years before so the fresh air system wouldn't work and the filter was absolutely filthy. New filter and correct installation and system works great. In getting the headlights repaired, they found the air filter completely clogged. HID headlights--it cost $700 to get them replaced. Legends gave us $135. We had a full inspection done, incorrect spark plugs were existing and one spark plug coil was floating because the mounting bolt had been cross threaded and wouldn't tighten down. Legends told us new tires had been installed--there were three different brand tires installed and we already have a defective pressure monitor system indicator. Engine oil was really filthy. So far we've spent about $3000 getting this car into safe, reliable condition. The car is basically sound and looks very nice, now with proper maintenance will probably serve us well. Just be very careful in dealing with Legend Auto. read more
