After having to wait for an opportune time to leave my Jetta here for service, I'm HIGHLY disappointed and would NOT recommend this service center to anyone. For weeks, they claimed they were 'backed up' and it would take a couple of days to even get to my car. All my car needed was to simply replace a loose cover part underneath it. In September, I went away for vacation for over a week - I confirmed multiple times with the service center that I could leave my car here and pick it up on Saturday (I returned on a Friday evening), and they would provide the receipt and keys to Audi. During the week of vacation, I was never called, never notified of the car being serviced, which I figured might be due to the fact I was in another country. The Saturday after I returned, I called Audi, and go figure they NEVER received the keys or any information regarding my car from Volkswagen service, so I had to rideshare the entire weekend and that Monday morning. On Monday morning, I arrived to the service center before work - they had NO information on work done on my car, no bill of labor, materials, etc. in which the lady at the counter said 'they probably just patched it up and reattached the part'. Does this sound like a disorganized mess yet? I checked underneath my car, and they did NO work on it for the entirety of OVER A WEEK. This service center is an absolute disorganized mess, they could care less about actually servicing your vehicle, and this was quite literally the simplest fix that needed to be made to my car which they couldn't even perform. There's no communication to the customer, and seemingly within their own office/departments. What a joke. I'm complaining to Volkswagen and beyond pissed I wasted my time with this service center. If you're coming here for proximity or convenience, just go somewhere else because you'll actually get the help you need for your car. Would give 0/5 if I could read more

I have been a VW owner for well over ten years and have always dealt with Legend VW in Amityville with no issues, until now. My current VW is a 2023 and I have had nothing but issues with Legend VW service department. The radio in the car has been independently turning on and off and losing connection since the beginning of the lease. I have brought this to the attention of the service department several times and it was always stated that no issues were found. Three months ago, the blue tooth stopped working and the car was brough in for service. I was told that carplay needed to be replaced and the part was to be ordered. When I got home, I noticed that the door lock was not working, I reached out to let them know and they thought the key may need to be programed. I was also told I would receive a call when the carplay part arrived. Over 3 and half weeks later, no call. I reached out and the part was there. They took my car in for the carplay and for the key to be reprogrammed. The service manager, Danny reached out at 3pm to let me know that the carplay was done and the car would be ready at 4pm for pick up. I arrived at VW at 4:15 and was told that the key lock was not from the remote and another door handle needed to be ordered and replaced. He stated that the door handle would need to be painted prior to it being installed and they would call me when the part came in. I waited another 20 minutes for my car and was informed that it had not been washed yet, I could wait or take it. I took the car and Danny stated we owe you a car wash. Two weeks later, no call for the door handle and I reach out. The part was in. I scheduled to drop off the following week and asked if they would have my car for the day, and she said yes. I asked that if it was to be more than a day, I would get me a loaner car. I drop off on my scheduled day and a different service manager, Claudine, was asking me if the part needed to be painted. I told her what Danny had stated, and she said OK and I left. Ten minutes later she calls to say the part was not painted and I could come get the car or leave it overnight and they would have it painted and done the next day. I left the car, since I had no ride. I call the next day at 1:30pm and again at 3:30 pm. No response. I get a ride to VW at 4:15 and Claudine informs me that the tech had an issue with the part, that it was dropped and he couldn't finish. She also stated this is a warranty job and they don't pay much. Claudine states they need to order a new part, and it would be done the following day. They have no loaner cars, and I am stuck finding transportation again. I call the following morning and ask the status, and Claudine says the car will be ready at 12pm. Ten minutes later she calls back to tell me that they didn't know they needed to order a module for it and they can give me a loaner car by 12pm. They don't have time to service the loaner but will wash it. I arrive at 12:15 and the car is filthy and no service. I leave with the loaner. Three days later at 3pm Claudine calls to tell me the car is ready and they are leaving for the day. They left my keys in the car for me. I get the car and my car is filthy. So much for the owed car wash! The service department at Legend lies, is incompetent and untrustworthy. BEWARE!!! read more

I was parked at Ronkonkoma train station for a few days and returned to find all 4 of my tires and wheels stolen off my old 2001 Porsche. I got the car towed to Legend. They have been so supportive through the process. They found me a great towing company and worked with my adjuster to deal with the issue. Jonathan kept me informed throughout and was reassuring. Although negotiations with insurance did not work out as we hoped, I would definitely use Legend in the future. read more

I brought my car in for service because a warning light indicated a problem with the driver assist system. They charged me $250 to hook the car up to their computer and tell me that there was no problem in that system. I had to wait three hours for this information despite having made an appointment. To top it off they charged me an illegal 3% to use a credit card. Avoid this place like the plague. read more

These guys are awful. Avoid at all costs. I had a noise coming out of my Audi's speaker. They had very limited availability for service appointments and then when I came for my appointment, they sat on the car without giving a loaner (despite hundreds of vehicles on their lot) for hours without anyone even looking at the car until I called and asked as it had been 4 hours without anyone evaluating the car. After all that, I left a poor review on Google maps and Piotr the service manager asked me to leave because of the poor review without ever fixing or evaluating the concern. I can't recommend Legend VW and Eric enough! I've recently had to shop for a new vehicle. I had no idea I was going to go with volkswagen. I took two days off of work shop around and went to just about every dealership imaginable. From open until after closing time, one after another without any breaks. I never really understood the car salesman stereotype until that day. There are some truly terrible people out there. I downright felt threatened at one specific dealership in Huntington. A different dealership muscled me into leaving a deposit. They're not all bad eggs, some of them were decent people. But Eric... Eric stands in a league of his own. From the moment I walked in, he greeted me with the warmth and courtesy that I would only expect from family. Not once did I feel rushed or pressured. He is so knowledgeable and patient. He took the time to show me every car and every option. There was nothing that he didn't explain to me. When it came time to look at cars, he made sure I had ample time with every car I contemplated in every trim. Educating me on the differences and offerings of the VW brand. There was nothing he wouldn't take the time to show me or explain to me. When it came time to talk about numbers, he was as honest as honest can be. He walked me through all of the numbers. Not just the superficial monthly payments. But everything. From down payments. To interest rates. Gas consumption. Registration fees. There wasn't a penny unaccounted for. It is for these reasons that I will never choose another person to do business with when it comes to cars. And if one day Eric leaves Volkswagen for another brand, you can bet I will follow. Brought my car there in May for an oil consumption problem and mildew smell they took my car for a week and got that sorted out. While the oil problem was resolved all the trim they replaced for the mildew issue wasnt fitted correctly and started to fall off. Fast forward to this week September of 2025 i schedule an oil change and a day before my appointment my breaks start making noise i stated specifically that i would like to be notified before any costly work would be done they assured me i would be notified before any work would be done they called at 11:45 am to say my breaks and rotors needed to be replaced i was metal to metal. How does a car thats taken in May for a week not get inspected at all and noted that the breaks were in the red zone? Sean in service tells me ive driven 8k mikes since may and thats normal for breaks to wear out that quick. maybe if im taking it to the track but everyday driving shouldn't wear out break pads to metal in 8k miles. I was unsure and said i would call back i called 15 minutes later to say i would not like my brakes done and to just do the oil change that was scheduled a lady picked up and i asked if sean was around she said yes and hold on the call rang and went to voicemail which i left a detailed message saying please call me back this call was at 12pm 15 minutes after they called me. After not getting a call back i called again the same lady answered and i asked for Sean she replied with ok sure it rang and went to voicemail again I left another message with more detail about the situation and said please call me back nothing. Later they call me and sean is on the phone his response "oh you didnt want your brakes done? well we already did the back brakes and rotors. Your bill is 750$ and if i wanted my front brakes done which he strongly recommends it will be another 100$." first off how is the price 750$ for 2 rear rotors and 2 rear pads but only 100$ more for the other 2 front rotors and pads? so after having to pay 900$ total for 2 rear rotors and brake pads and an oil change i will never be bringing my cars back to legend auto group this dealership was so unprofessional and predatory i wouldnt bring my other cars to their dealerships ill be bringing my tiguan to islip from here on out and for my family members they will bring their audi and porsche to Freeport and rockville center. Sent Insurance cards to them yesterday, got a bank check for the amount of the car and was told I could pick it up at 2 pm today. Got a call that the car was sold and is off the lot!!! I brought my first audi from here 2 and a half years ago. I've decided its time for something new so I decided to even trade in my car AND FINANCE my second one here. Soo I called and spoke with Eric on the phone who assured me he wanted me to "Save time" so I got info about some of the available cars "on the lot" and told him which ones i wanted to look at. I was 30 minutes away from this location today but I wanted to give them a sale because my first experience with them was pretty good, so why not? I get there and he tells me one of the cars was down the street "5 minutes away" and he has to go get it. i sat there patiently for about 45 mins (yes, i waited this long because i hate to be that obnoxious/annoying customer) before i asked "where is he"... and the women at the front desk told me he was "on his way" without any legit explanation when i asked what happened. she said something about "a mechanic having to go there" so who knows what was going on. i patiently wait another 30 minutes before getting up and asking again. then she tells me the car ran out of gas and he was "on the way" again. .........if it was known the car was out of gas WHY DID U LET A CUSTOMER SIT THERE for 2 hours ??? clearly you communicated this to the women at the front desk so why not suggest that they inform me so i dont waste my night sitting there literally watching the sun go down :) thanks for the view!! anyways i was told another "15 minutes" until he was back & as you can imagine this was another lie so when 15 minutes passed I said "im leaving he can call me when hes back i cannot wait here all night." its now over 2 hours since i left and still no call. (its 8PM so they're even closed at this point.) Not even a call just to apologize for terrible communication or wasting someone's time to the extent mine was and offering me to either come back or schedule a different day/time. not to mention, a customer to this dealer for years now. so not only did you lose a sale; you simultaneously lost a customer who would've probably returned here for years considering i have no intention of getting anything but audi. if you wanted to refrain from losing a sale you should have NEVER let a customer sit there for as long as I did knowing that whatever happened with the car would obviously allocate a lot of time for you to figure out. it was 5 minutes away therefore there's absolutely no excuse for waiting to let me know, even though i found out from the women at the front desk not even the salesperson himself. if this isnt absolutely terrible customer service and not to mention totally inconsiderate and unprofessional, i'm not quite sure what is. not to mention, there was another salesperson there sitting on his phone instead of extending assistance to me although he was fully aware of what was going on. instead he called eric from his cellphone to see where he was before coming to me and giving me another time frame which i took with a grain of salt of course. i was there to put money into their pockets for a CAR and honestly i can confidently attest that I would've received better service and communication at a lemonade stand ran by a toddler. additionally, let the record show this isnt exactly a toyota dealership. this is the service you give under a high end name like audi? rest assured me escalating this to corporate is not only happening, it is more than well deserved. so thanks for totally inconveniencing my entire day. if anyone has any other suggestions for other audi dealers on long island please share. sincerely, a full time worker and graduate student who had a thousand other things to do today but wanted to treat herself for once :) read more

They did an oil change and didnt top the oil off and when you confront them with the problem they yell at you like its your fault that they destroy your car. First impression.... not impressed. My husband and I walked into the dealership and there is no one at the front desk which was a MESS! We waited for a few minutes and no one greeted us. I was about to walk out and go somewhere else when I ran into a sales person and asked if we could get some help. I work in finance and the front desk at any business is VITAL! I should have known from this mess that the experience was going to be horrible. We came in to look at the VW SUV's on Thursday morning and we ended up test driving the new Taos. We liked the truck. We sat down with the a salesperson who told us his parents own the dealership. We talked pricing for two trucks. We had a good conversation. We left with the pricing and told salesperson we would call back later that day after we discussed with my mother (one of the cars is for her). We called the dealership that afternoon because we wanted to put down deposits for the 2 trucks and after calling 4 times finally got an someone on the phone. We asked for the sales person we were working with and the man said he was busy. I left my name and phone number for him to call back and told him I was calling because I wanted to put down a deposit. Well I never heard back. The next morning I emailed the salesperson directly (email attached). Didn't hear anything back AGAIN. Called the dealership again. Didn't get a call back. My husband ended up calling the salespersons cell phone on Sunday (3 days later). We got a text back that he was off and would be back tomorrow. Never heard from him on Monday. We called dealership again and couldn't get a hold of him. My husband texted again on Monday asking for him to give us a call. No text response or call (text attached). I finally called today a FULL WEEK later and by chance he answered the phone! I told him I wanted to give the deposits and what does he tell me... He cannot do the deals anymore. I was very frustrated as I have waited a week thinking I had a car and when I said that we had be actively trying to get in touch with him. He didn't care and was very short. I get your parents own the dealership so you don't have to earn your keep but it was HORRIBLE customer service!!!! He didn't offer any other solution or even try to get me into another truck/car. I know there is a car shortage but you shouldn't be an arrogant jerk. This was a total slimey car salesman scam. He even told me himself that the car shortage is getting worse and they want to hold onto those trucks. I wasn't born yesterday!!! He wants to hold those cars to lease/sell them for more than the deal we worked out. Well that's not how someone should do business especially if your parents own the dealership!!! We made a deal and we wanted to seal the deal the same day but because he sucks at his job and didn't answer his phone, email or cell phone and didn't return any form of communication we were effected. All I can say is I will NEVER do business again with this dealership and I will be letting VW corporation know what happened as well. Prior to purchasing this Lexus model from Legend I looked at others being sold at local dealerships over the past few weeks. During that period of time there wasn't a salesperson I spoke with who could compare to Kaitlynn Van Alst's professional demeanor, initiative, patience and overall sales approach, I never felt pressured or misled in anyway. Jamie was also very helpful in my final decision making. I think it's important to recognize those that rise above others. The service and workmanship here are very very poor. My car was burning oil and it was deemed I needed a new engine, which thankfully the extended warranty covered. The car was laid up for over a month awaiting the repair. When it was finally done we drove the car out of the service driveway and the check engine light came on!! The service manager, Anthony said it had nothing to do with the work that was just performed! WHAT!!! I LITERALLY JUST PULLED OUT OF THEIR GARAGE!!!! Obviously, they didn't even care enough to perform a road test before releasing the car to me. Anyway it was deemed that both fans were faulty and after fighting with the extended warranty people they mercifully covered that too. About a month after that, my check engine light went on again, so I brought the car to another mechanic shop to check it out. The mechanic showed me that when Legend replaced part of the engine they actually put the OLD CRACKED HOSES BACK and secured them with DUCT TAPE!!!!!!!!! YES, DUCT TAPE!!!! I SAW THIS WITH MY OWN EYES. This is just a sample of the shoddy workmanship I experienced here. I found Legends service Dept to be slow, sloppy, unwilling to work with me and incompetent! I obviously won't be doing business with this place ever again. read more

I went to Audi of Massapequa based on a very pressed director of customer experience wanting me to come to their dealership to see a Q3. Her emails were pleasant; the actual services was 180 degrees opposite. I dealt with a very unprofessional salesperson with supposedly 36 years of service who didn't even know which has grade the Q3 took. As I reflect on my experience, it is obvious he is racially biased and he let his ideas of what a black woman can do and purchase prevent him from doing his basic job. He was disrespectful and condescending. Trust me as an owner of BMWs 5's and above I'm not pressed for an overblown VW. This experience really has impacted my decision with Audi. If this basic person treated a very qualified seller like this I can imagine how he has treated others who were not as credentialed. I do not recommend. read more

Worst car dealership in the world! The people are all extremely rude and lazy! I wanted to charge my car at their electric charging station (which was listed on ChargePoint) there was a black Porsche parked in the spot. I nicely asked them if the could move the car so I can use it. The woman proceeded to ask me what kind of car I had, like that had anything to do with it. Then goes and asked her boss and I was told it wasn't working. I went back to look at the charging station, it was working fine. So I used to app to activate the charging staring and began to charge my car. Then some rude numb-nuts comes out and says "I HAVE TO MOVE MY CAR. I explained what happened how I asked if I could use the charger. He didn't let me get a word in edgewise. He said move my car, or he'll move it for me!! Then he proceeded to call 911. Looks like they started a new yelp page to hide the poor reviews on the other page. Bought a preowned certified Audi here which I had to bring in many times. Each time having to pay the $85 deductible. Sometimes they wouldn't even fix the original problem and I would have to bring the car back again a week later. Many times when I would bring the car in for a service I would get the car back much dirtier than when I dropped it off. So why are they getting 2 stars rather than 1? They do drive you to work when you drop the car off. I'll give credit where credit is due. Protip: Whenever the check engine light comes on make sure you get autozone to print you out the codes for free. Then bring it to the Audi dealership. This way when they claim they fixed the issue and you see the same code come up again a week later you can show them they never fixed the original issue. Then call Audi of America when the dealership tries to recharge you the deductible. Audi of America will look into the shenanigans and then pay you back the deductible. read more

Delay after delay and errors on the paperwork slowed everything down. Paid over $300 in title fee's and then they tell me that they couldn't transfer my plates after they collected my fee's. Absolutely no professionalism or common courtesy was provided from start to finish. Thought everything was great when i purchased my 2016 A6- that is until I was told it came with one key! I insisted another key be included in the deal(who ever heard of getting one key!)- salesman went to management and it was agreed I would get that. Dealer had to order it, so when I went to have it programmed the other day I was told I was only getting a plastic valet key!!! I am not happy and disappointed in how this ended. The people there were very knowledgeable, which honestly is the most important thing when buying a car. My salesman, Lou, while being slightly apathetic, did a great job selling the car. While he didn't know EVERYTHING about the specific trim etc. he got the information for me and made the experience very enjoyable. The finance staff was amazing though, that's where it comes in. Robert, there chief finance guy (which, sadly for everyone else, I heard moved to another dealer) gave me a great deal and really made me want to buy all my cars from Legend... ahh if only I had the money! Please don't waste your time at this dealership!, four years ago I went with my grandson and niece to look at a pre owned Jetta that was advertised by Legend VW. while looking around a salesperson came and asked if he can help me. so I asked about the Jetta that was advertised as a CPO vehicle . He showed me the car, but it didn't look like a CPO. Car so I asked to get the keys and look more closely at the vehicle. What I discovered was a car that hadn't been clean on the inside and the engine bay was full of grime and dirt. I asked the salesman why a CPO. Firstly you have to buy the car then they would certify it for me, so I said, that is not how the process works. An advertise certified pre owned means just that, so he began to offer me $2500 less if I didn't want it certified..as I was discussing the issues with this car with this sales person, a sales manager was near by listening so he decided to interject himself. To my biggest shock this guy became loud and belligerent, he started asking me if I was a mechanic and what the F...k I know about cars, so I ask this fellow not to use such language in front of a 4 and 7yr old and to my shock this guy became enraged and said I should get off his f...king property before he call the cops, I said to him that he was a poor excuse for a human being and left, I called the BBB and reported it. This guy try to cover his tracks so what he did was to send a different Vin# to the BBB and told them that I was the one who came and yelled and used foul language. I contacted Vw right away and they told me they had gotten several complaints before and was looking into the dealership. After getting back home I called the dealership to complain to the manager about my experience, the manager was apologetic. but I said it was too late to convince me otherwise. BUYER BEWARE: They try to cheat you at Legend Audi. I first dealt with Richard Hayat (he as been selling cars for 18 months). He was very pleasant to talk to. He had go to Ed Jaffe (been there 25+ years). I told both Richard and Ed my specific requirements regarding the terms of my lease. 36 months, 15K per year, No money down and of course specifics that i needed within the vehicle. I went in at 9am. They kept me there 2 hours to figure out the deal. We then agreed on a number and the terms of the lease. I went back with my wife 2 hours later to finish and sign the deal (which they said had to be done immediately...because i was getting such a great deal). We did the insurance paperwork, credit app. etc. I was just about to sign the final document when i noticed that THEY CHANGED THE TERMS OF THE LEASE...AND TRIED TO SNEAK IT BY. We ALWAYS agreed in 36 months. NOW IT WAS 39 months. TOTAL BS. Dealer is a total rip off. They cleverly tried to get it past me. I was very annoyed. Ed blamed Richard for being NEW and not telling him. ANOTHER BS story. A was specific. ONLY a 36 Month Lease....NOT 39. I told them I was walking out... Ed said "You wont get that deal anywhere" WELL ED.................I DID!!!! I got the exact deal i wanted at Audi of Lynbrook. I dealt with Saheed the Sales manager. It was an amazing transaction.
