When I first called for an appointment and asked for the cost of a Service B I got "It depends" and no amount. I went to this location specifically for a transmission flush, but they were unable to flush it and didn't call me to tell me that. All their costs are very high. I was charged $175 for 4 spark plugs. Their labor costs are extremely high. Get a full written detailed estimate BEFORE you let them work on your car and make them stick to it. I didn't and boy do I regret it.

I called Sergio's and told them the situation and they did not hesitate to help get the replacement starter installed for him. They did the repair at a very fair price and starting is no longer an issue for him. He took the time to drive down the road to have a look at my pick up truck and see what he could do. He plugged in his mini computer, wiggled some things around and was super honest with me. It would take some time to get it into the shop, but these are some things I could look at based on what he saw. I looked at them and was able to fix the issue and get her started right then and there! Couldn't have done it without the time and generosity of some good people, Olga and Sergio. They will be my first call next time I need a mechanic in Corpus Christi.

Here is my experience with In And Out Auto. First off their towing service is good I would…read morerecommend the J Hook Towing. My truck was/is having some electrical issues which caused it to stop working while driving down SPID, I had it towed to In and Out to have this issue diagnosed and repaired. The mechanic found some wires that had been chewed on by a mouse/rat which they did provide pictures of so I am thinking so far so good, also there was a blown fuse. I was told the fuse was replaced and the damaged wires have been replaced as well and the truck starts but there are still some codes showing up on the scanner. The code was for a bad cam shaft sensor. Sensor was replaced no labor charges for that so I am still thinking so far so good. I pay my bill- which was $473.55 and go pick up my truck. I opened the hood to check out the "New wiring" the new wires were simply spliced and electrical taped back together- that was a 2 hour labor charge. After picking it up I take it to an Autozone and have them hook a scanner up to the vehicle to check the codes, exact same code comes up- Bad Cam Shaft Sensor. So my truck was at this shop for a total of five days, I spent nearly $500 for some electrical tape and the exact same engine codes that were showing up the first day I dropped it off. Their communication to and towards me as a customer was lacking at best, I would call a few times a day to check the status and I would be lucky to get ahold of anyone.

When I questioned the price they told me that the parts I looked up (OEM parts) were "do it yourself parts". I told them I would never be back. It turned out my problem was a ground wire which cost me nothing to fix. Parts are parts. They tried to con because I a woman and elderly. But I'm not stupid. They might be ok for an oil change, but I wouldn't trust them for anything major- price gouging is one of their specialties.

I decided not to let them do the spark plugs and had my truck shipped to where I live because it still wasn't running properly and I didn't want to give them any more money. Greedy and dishonest.
