Went to North American Granite and the process started out great. David in the office was helpful…read moreand reasonably priced. The granite itself is beautiful... but the installation was rocky. First of all they left a 20 in overhang with no supports and told us to handle ourselves. So now we have to figure out about either adding legs or brackets so the granite doesn't snap. 2nd our half bath had tile that the previous owners installed. The installer Arturo asked us if we wanted him to cut the tile out so the backsplash could go flush on the wall. Never once did he say, "hey this is going to damage the wall and the surrounding tiles."Unfortunately we agreed. The "cut out" part is a deceiving term. He basically just ripped it out of the wall destroying the drywall along with the neighboring tile. So now our bathroom looks worse than it did before. We called and tried to give David at the office the opportunity to try to make it right but he said sorry you're out of luck since you agreed. If we had known the way he would "cut out" the tile then we would have gone a different route. Overall just poor customer service and communication. So now yes I have granite countertops but I have extra problems that shouldn't have happened.

Well, I really didn't have a very good feeling about them. So I went shopping. That's when I found Masters Flooring. Their selection is great... I am certain that I got a better product at a better price, but that's not the big story here: it's their crew. I had tile that looks like wood installed. The crew was professional and as high as my expectations were (I am fairly... exacting) they exceeded. The guys really knew what they were doing, and ensured everything was perfect. What more could I ask for?

The second chair was 2 months overdue (6 months in all!) and came without paperwork for me to sign so I couldn't remark about the stickers on the base nor the very used and old and (crocodile (faux) leather. promoted as "jumbo" but with a seat that was only 14-inch wide seat that only a child or thin adult could fit in. There is no lever to lift the foot rest so you must get out of the chair to manually lift the foot rest then climb over it to get in. But the worst part of the chairs is that both arrived with the round metal footings so damaged that you must set these chairs on a bulky rug so as not to scratch your flooring. I called him before he left TX to make sure everything was a go. The driver kept giving us different dates for delivery. The item was in another warehouse and never placed inside the truck at all by whoever.. It was all every upsetting. The business was always very nice over the phone. But they didn't know to fix the prolonged delivery. We received different dates again and again. We didn't get anything for all the trouble and our worries.
