The guy worked on me for half an hour, and I felt barely any improvement. Since I was still in a lot of pain, I agreed to 15 more minutes. Little improvement, and when I got up from the chair to pay, it still hurt to move my neck. I was desperate, so I did 15 more minutes. This time, the man who'd been working on me switched out for a woman, and the woman did a better job easing the knots in 15 minutes than the man had done in 45. Of course, 15 minutes was not nearly enough time to effectively treat the knots, but I simply could not afford more. I walked to the counter to pay for a full hour's worth of time, and to my shock, they tried to OVER charge me. You see, by their logic, I should be charged for multiple mini-sessions instead of one long session because I kept adding on more time (HELLO, if they'd done the job properly in the initial 30 minutes, I wouldn't have needed more time, now would I?), and when I pointed this out, they then said they needed to charge me for multiple sessions because two different people worked on me (despite the fact that I never requested this, AND it's not my fault a second person had to re-do the first person's failed attempt). They ended up charging me for two thirty minute sessions, which is better than one thirty minute and two fifteen minute sessions which is what they originally tried to pull, but still more expensive than a single hour, and inexcusable considering I came in for a 30 minute which they botched at my expense. THEN when I'm paying, I try to enter a custom tip (was aiming for 10-15 percent, which honestly was generous considering the questionable service and scammy unexpected upcharge), but the prompt on the card reader won't let me move forward. The lady tries to tell me I need to tip twice since there were two people working on me. I say no, I'm tipping once, and I try again. This time when the custom tip prompt won't move forward again, the lady tries to tell me I need to tip twice as much money since there were two people. I refuse again, but still can't get the prompts on the card reader to move forward, so I finally select the 20% one (which is the lowest possible percent without doing custom, of course, so they pretty much gave themselves a 20% tip as a reward for successfully scamming me with the lousy massage and the upcharge.) In retrospect, I should have asked if there was an option for no tip, but I was simply too flustered and gobsmacked by their audacity. It also didn't help that they seemed to suddenly not understand what I was saying once I was calling them out on their funky math, but there hadn't previously been a significant enough language barrier to prevent communication. The only reason I was tempted to maybe give this place two stars instead of one is because in the final fifteen minutes, when the lady was working on me, she did actually bring some relief to the knotted muscles. I still got swindled and severely price gouged, however, and that's worth no stars at all. TL;DR - I paid the price of an upcharged hour (AND an upcharged tip due to a "glitch" in the card reader not letting me enter a custom tip after I refused to succumb to verbal pressure to tip double) - all for a measly 15 minutes of effective massage. And since I only got 15 minutes of effective massage for more than the price of an hour plus tip, the knots are still there, but my money is gone. The overall vibe here is BUYER BEWARE.

At no point was I notified that my membership was about to be terminated, nor was I given the opportunity to use my credits, pause my account, or make any kind of arrangement. For seven years, my membership had never once been cancelled. To suddenly terminate it and wipe out credits that were already paid for feels unfair, unethical, and frankly unacceptable. Those credits represent real money -- not a courtesy, not a gift -- and losing them without notice is a slap in the face to long-term, loyal customers.
