I had a long list of health questions and possible ailments and she patiently listened to me and took the time to thoughtfully discuss everything I brought up. At one point she even pulled out a physician's encyclopedia-type book and showed me illustrations about a skin condition I've been struggling with. I left feeling empowered and had a newfound respect for medical professionals. After a trip to Belize, I went to urgent care twice and was ultimately hospitalized for a little bug bite on my back. I had half a dozen doctors look at the bite, and every one of them had a different prognosis. When I finally went to Dr. Charles to follow up after the hospital visit, she took one look at my bug bite and immediately knew what the culprit was. I was furious at the other docs that didn't listen when I told them I'd gone to Belize and had numerous mosquito bites. One of them even suggested it was an ingrown hair (highly unlikely and borderline insulting). I was so impressed that Dr. Charles immediately knew I had a botfly and a week later I was healthy, bug-free, and once again awestruck by her knowledge. Last but not least, Dr. Charles always remembers me as if we're good friends, recalling details of my personal life and asking me how I've been since we last met. It's always unnerving to go to the doctor's office... unless Dr. Charles is your doctor.

They diagnosed me with acute respiratory illness and gave me a prescription for nasal congestion that I was told to take for four days, plus take mucinex which is btw I'm already taking it before coming here plus the ibuprofen/tylenol if Im in pain. I did exactly all that, but it didn't help at all! In fact, after three days my condition got worse I was having an even harder time breathing, and my throat was extremely painful. I went there on December 22, and to this day I still have a cough. Two weeks later, I found out they billed me $365.86 (I don't know how insurance works with private clinics but its not worth it in my experience going in this clinic!!!) Take your money elsewhere, where your $365 will be worth it!!!!

I don't know how long this SCL health has been here. It's part of Saint Joseph. It's very nice inside bathrooms, fully stocked and cleaned cameras everywhere for security. A lot of handicap parking great accessibility.! a lot of places to eat over here. A lot of places to get your car filled up get your car washed while you're waiting. Everybody's very friendly and helpful. My Girlfriend said " the Doctor Who performed her procedure, apologized because they were running a little bit behind " She said " she thought that was very nice of them" so I thought I'd put that here in my post as well .I've even seen people walking on a path over here next to the SCL health. With all the people moving here to Colorado I guess these are popping up everywhere.... little mini I guess is what I'm gonna call them. Lol but I'm glad they're everywhere. This so called doctors office has got to be the absolutely WORST in the industry. They could care…read moreless about the health status of their patients all they care about is making money. I ran out of both of my prescribed medications one for blood pressure and one for high cholesterol a little over a week ago and the pharmacy tried to reach out to them to get them refilled with no response so I called them to get them to send the new prescription so I could get them refilled so I could start taking them again and they won't do it because I'm due for my six month checkup which I would have no problem making an appointment and doing that but unfortunately I can't because I recently had a nasty fall and suffered a tibial plateau fracture and am not cleared to drive but they don't care so I called them my self and demanded they submit a refill order so I could get back on them before something went wrong and had to argue with them that I can't drive so they called in a 60 day supply of the cholesterol medication rather then the normal 90 bottle which is what my insurance requires and a 90 day bottle of the blood pressure pills which is correct and since they only did a 60 day supply my insurance won't cover it so if I want to get them I would have to pay $300 for what normally would only cost $30. I have no idea why they would do the 90 day supply for the blood pressure and only 60 day supply for the cholesterol when for as long as I've been going there it was always 90 days each. Either their just that dam stupid or they just don't car all because I won't do what I literally do for other legit medical reasons.
