I don't usually write reviews, and I don't usually go to the doctor unless I'm feeling really bad. I went to this clinic because I felt extremely sick and was having a hard time breathing (plus I've been sick for 4 days before coming here). They diagnosed me with acute respiratory illness and gave me a prescription for nasal congestion that I was told to take for four days, plus take mucinex which is btw I'm already taking it before coming here plus the ibuprofen/tylenol if Im in pain. I did exactly all that, but it didn't help at all! In fact, after three days my condition got worse I was having an even harder time breathing, and my throat was extremely painful. I went there on December 22, and to this day I still have a cough. Two weeks later, I found out they billed me $365.86 (I don't know how insurance works with private clinics but its not worth it in my experience going in this clinic!!!) Take your money elsewhere, where your $365 will be worth it!!!! read more

I scheduled online for 4:50pm. I know it's not an appointment but they allow you to sign up and choose a time online. I showed up and no one was in the waiting room. I was called back within a few minutes and then I sat in the patient room for over 30 minutes. I couldn't hear anyone else in the area talking to other patients and it seemed very quiet. I finally peeked my head out and asked about being seen. Within a few minutes a PA came in and spent less than 2 minutes with me as I knew I broke my toe and needed an x-ray. So frustrating to wait over 30 mins for something that took them less than 2 min to say, you need an x-ray. read more

I went in and was diagnosed with Strep throat 2 wks ago and the Rx that the provider told me she was going to treat me with, was not the one that was given to me. I finished 10 day Rx though and within 4 days of completing it, all of my symptoms are back. I called to see what could be done and was told I would have to be seen again and retested. I WILL NOT GIVE YOU ANOTHER $100 of my money when you did not treat me with the Rx you told me you would at my first visit. What a horrible way to triage. I asked to speak to the manager and was told there was not one available. I will take my business elsewhere! read more

I've been here 2-3 times and I definitely recommend this place over some other nearby. Their lobby is cozy and clean like a coffee shop vibe (not a dusty clinical office). I went this past Monday & they took EXCELLENT care of me, very easy to get a same day appointment online, took me on time and the testing and overall appointment was swift and quick. They diagnosed me & gave me prescriptions to treat me properly. They even called me the next day to check up on how I was feeling! When does that ever happen? Thank you, thank you! I'm genuinely surprised to see all of the negative reviews. I have been to this location numerous times and every single time my experience has been overwhelmingly positive. I've never had to wait more than 30 min to be seen, the facility is clean with ample parking, and the providers and staff are all kind and respectful. I've come here for multiple minor injuries and illnesses and received great care each time. Literally my only complaint would be that I have to provide my insurance card each time as opposed to them keeping it on file but it's no more than a mild inconvenience. Needing urgent care is never a fun experience but AFC makes it as pleasant as possible. read more

2/15/2024, 7:27 PM First of all, do not talk to me like I was seeking free healthcare. I work in healthcare, hence the insurance I pay so I can go to clinics to seek care. I also know you can bill someone when services are needed. You would be billing my insurance and I can always go back and pay the copay. Second, I called Stephanie back. I was in the emergency room seeking the care your office denied me. And yes it was DENIED. The girl up front straight up told me I could not be seen and there was nothing she could do due to policy. So yes, I can absolutely can say I was denied care at your facility. When I thanked her for denying me care and left, I said it in front of everyone in the waiting room. Also, when I called back to speak with Stephanie, I hung up after being on hold for 40 minutes. So, how is that not trying to do my part?? read more

A Rapid PCR test is a nasal swab used to detect an active strain of the COVID-19 virus. Patients that are experiencing symptoms or have been exposed to someone who has tested positive should receive a rapid COVID test. Sounds like you are claiming there is such a thing as a rapid PCR test and that it does exist. You might want to change that. read more

Came here because it was the closest to my house, never again. I'll make sure to drive further away just to avoid this place. Went in, front desk was nice but the doctor herself acted so annoyed the whole time by my issue. I'm already not feeling well, so having the doctor act like I'm an inconvenience while I'm PAYING for the services is not acceptable. She took one look at me and said I was fine, I had to ask to get my BP, etc checked otherwise they wouldn't have done it. Edit: this IS the correct place. I had gone on Labor Day weekend due to a lacerated thumb that was very deep and needed immediate care. It was convenient being located close to my residence, though the experience was not anything I would like to go through again. The staff did not seem as they wanted to care for patients. In terms of my treatment, I was under the impression that I had severed my exterior tendon on my thumb while experiencing symptoms relating to what's known as "mallet finger". When seen by Casondra Rankin, NP, she had came to the conclusion that it was a simple finger laceration with no other damage and gave me 5 stitches. After four days of still not being able to move my thumb I had gone to a UC health urgent care where they had referred me to a hand specialist within the UC health network. After visiting the hand specialist, they had came to the conclusion that I had severed my tendon and needed to go through hand surgery. If I was properly assessed, and the severed tendon was identified in the beginning, that would have limited my now three month recovery. I would not recommend going here if you want proper care but if you need immediate care and are willing to go somewhere else later when it is more convenient for you, this place may work! read more

We weren't able to get in to our pediatrician so went to AFC and had a good experience. Only waited a few minutes and the nurses and doctors were very sweet to our son while he was really sick. The staff were mostly fine. The service was quick and to the point. My issue was with the nurse practitioner, Mackenzie Courtney who saw me made me feel very uneasy. I had come in with a lot of symptoms happening at once. I could barely breath or talk, was shaking, and sweating with severe abdominal pain. After answering the question of if I drank alcohol I answered honestly and said I thought it was related to withdrawal and that my abdomen was sore and I thought my eyes looked yellow. She very quickly said "If you're worried that you're going into liver failure you don't need to be in an Urgent Care. We can't help you. Go to the emergency room. Your urine sample looks very concerning. There are these two emergency rooms nearby." Her demeanor as she spoke to me felt very judgmental and she quickly concluded a very dramatic outcome while in the same breath said "We can't help you." I haven't had any healthcare in a while and when I asked her, while clearly struggling to speak as I fore mentioned I could barely breath or talk, I asked, "Do you know if these emergency rooms take Medicaid?" And she said, again in a rude and dismissive tone, "okay Everyone takes Medicaid. Good luck kid." and walked off. I felt really judged, and she quickly made me feel like I could have a serious medical condition with a highly dismissive attitude. I was embarrassed and in a state of panic and tears on the way to the ER. My review is that she could be a little less harsh especially on patients who are in severe condition. She made me feel dumb for even going to Urgent Care in the first place instead of the ER, and due to my state of brain fog I just went to the first place someone drove me to. I just felt she could have shown a little more empathy and kindness to me and felt she was dismissive. Overall I was honestly put off by the experience and felt this could have easily been a better experience if it seemed that anyone acted at all concerned that I was clearly in a state that called for a visit to the ER instead of Urgent Care. But I didn't know and they didn't have to be so rude about it. Hopefully this review finds you all well and I would like to add I am coming from an honest place and felt the need to write this so future situations may be handled with a little more kindness. read more

I cannot recommend enough! Saturday (today is Monday) I went to the ER because I was very sick with an excruciating sore throat and my eyes were literally swollen shut and I could feel my mouth and neck swelling. I had been sick since the prior Wednesday with an off and on fever and flu like symptoms but testing negative for COVID. The Doctor there told me it was just allergies and sent me on my way with no treatment. He didn`t even look down my throat! He said since I had no fever (of course I didn`t, I had taken Tylenol that morning for the fever!) he couldn`t do anything for me. I come here on Monday because I had started vomiting. The PA I saw was so nice, and so compassionate. I have been sick since Wednesday of last week and struggling with a fever and other symptoms. He said "I think five days is long enough, you need to feel better!" Turns out I have tonsillitis, and conjunctivitis and it was not getting better on its own. He gave me steroids, antibiotics, and eye drops and - OMG I feel SO much better! My eyes are clearing up and not painful, I can swallow without pain, and in general I feel much better! I do NOT recommend ever coming here. The doctor literally talked down to me like I was solely seeking pain meds not seeking help, when I was sitting there in tears from the pain in my side and didn't want pain medicine even, nor did I even bring it up. I wanted help, she didn't help me in the least, she left me sitting in the waiting room for 2 hours. She didn't even listen to me or feel where I told her my pain was. I will never be returning. I have never left an urgent care feeling so bad about how I was treated so poorly. read more

Please NEVER come here. I went there because it was closest to home. I went in for a pain I had been experiencing for 3 months on and off. I explained this to the doctor. I waited an HOUR in my room for the doctor. He came in, ran some scans and insisted a covid test. I said okay. He came in and said I was positive for covid. To my shock I asked what kind of test it was and he spoke over me, interrupted me and changed the subject and said "yeah it actually came up really quick. Anyway..." and continued on. He did not address the actual issue I was in for. I saw another review saying they failed to label a covid test and that the lab messed up multiple tests. I went home and took TWO covid tests and they both were negative. Dr. John was who I saw and he was very condescending and pressed his own narrative on my issue. He dismissed me, my questions and my concerns and sent me home with a false positive covid test. I went to another primary care doctor the following day and they were AMAZING. they actually addressed the issue I had going on and listened to me. I absolutely DO NOT recommend this place in any way shape or form if you want actual help. read more

Honestly I could not speak highly enough for this location. I'm the type to avoid going to doctors by any means just because the hassle but yesterday morning I woke up with an unreal kidney infection, showed up right at open and by the time I was half done with paper work they were ready for me. The doctors and nurses were extremely receptive, respectful and patient with me. Within 25 minutes i was in and out and within 5 hours already feeling much better. Again never have I ever had such a pleasant and at points almost enjoyable visit to a doctor/urgent care so bravo. 10/10 I could not recommend this clinic more. read more
