We placed my mother, who has dementia, in traditional assisted living in April, 2020, during Covid. Before welcoming her with open arms, they had her room all set up with her personal belongings so she would feel at home when she arrived. Our deep gratitude goes to Nikki Vawter for this. She is an absolute Angel! The nursing and caregiver staff are absolutely amazing, warm and giving! During Covid she was kept safe and continually tested. Also during Covid, Nikki was able to FaceTime with mom's children as we were not able to visit at the time. Mom is so happy and content. She is a life long faithful Catholic and a social butterfly! She is able to go to the beautiful church any time she wants, as well as socialize with the other residents. And she loves the numerous activities! We very highly recommend this facility for any senior needs, from independent living to nursing home care!

In striking up conversations with them, I heard plenty of unsolicited positives--lots of on-site activities and off-campus trips for residents, a beautiful wellness center with a pool, restaurant-quality food, well-maintained grounds and flowers, good employee benefits and great co-workers, and very helpful staff that put residents' care first. If I were looking for independent or assisted living, I'd sell my home move there in a heartbeat! Kudos to St. Leonard's entire team for making everyone feel so welcomed.

I touched her wrist. THEY DON'T CARE - I Moved him OUT. Wasted 3 weeks there had to start Rehab over. Oh plus he got a bed sore because they just let them lie in bed. From the time we first arrived and were met by Frannita Porter, who went out of her way to help and welcome my son, to the present, we have found Tapestry to be a place that works hard to individualize resident's care. Everyone, from the receptionist, Lori, to the individual food service people, gave him special attention and help. My son is not a typical resident. He is younger and has unique needs, and they have gone above and beyond to support him as best as they can. The nurses and nurses' aides are sympathetic and caring, and the Clinical Services team has been wonderfully accommodating. They truly work hard to meet his medical requirements, and even small touches--like the on-site salon for haircuts and shaves--make a difference. The clinical director Angela's forward-thinking approach made it possible for my son to start using a cutting-edge insulin pump, even arranging special training for the staff to ensure its success. It is extremely challenging to be disabled at such a young age, and I want to acknowledge the entire team for your efforts to help my son in navigating these challenges. We truly appreciate your kindness, flexibility, and commitment.

I've seen first hand how residents comfort, well-being, and health is important to the management and staff, the level of care is unmatched. This is an Independent Living community. OLP cares so much that when a resident ages and needs a more advance level of care, they will do what is right, even if it means the resident needs to move on to a higher level of care place like assisted living community. I appreciate so much their honesty and guidance navigating through an elder family living transition.

It really would depend on the kind of day they are having. Place is like a maze at 1st but once you get oriented you can make your way around just fine. Lots of cool little nooks and rooms to make the place feel special. My personal favorite is the garden room. The staff are usually very personable, thoughtful and very friendly. The number of times I've been here it seems like my friends and family are well taken care of. I don't go daily so I cannot attest to the daily regiment of eating, moving and cleanliness. No desire to ever go back, it's just not a place that gives me 'good memories' of my friends but the facility takes care of the needs of others so there's that...

If I could rate a Zero I would. My mother was there for PT…read morerehab for a broken leg/hip. One aide, Amy, was fantastic. The care beyond her was atrocious. In less than 48 hours my mother was taken, by ambulance, to the ER for shortness of breath. I stopped by one week later to give them an update to find her room cleaned out & her belongings boxed up! We never rec'd written notice or a phone call re: "bed hold", which I am only now familiar with. Now the staff & administration are lying trying to cover their tracks because they did not adhere to the state standards and requirements. The food, when delivered to her room, was ice cold, inedible. The evening aide turned the a/c, in her room, to 62 both nights. That was the care she got overnight. I do not recommend Cypress to care for your loved ones.

Hi it's been four years since I was at this facility for rehabilitation after a car accident. I…read morehad broken my neck and needed slot of rehabilitation. There was a young guy who came in every night before leaving who washed if I needed anything before he left for home. I can not say that there wasn't a person who wasn't caring and nice. I can only speak of my experience there and I was so thankful that they got me strong enough to go home. Also the family must stay involved with your care. At any nursing facility it's a must. Thanks to all who was involved of my care. The food was okay. If they had something that I didn't care for they offered me something else. I suggest that if something is going g wrong get in touch with the owner.
