Main Street Motors had no liability in this situation. I took the car to Kia in Alliance and they wanted to replace the motor for $12,600 and charged us over $900 dollars just to say it was bad. I brought this problem to Tony the owner of Main Street Motors and he asked me to let him pick the car up and see what the real issue was. Keep in mind that this is not his problem, it was a very weird situation with this car and Tony stepped up and towed the car to his shop and dug in. He had no reason to help my dad, who is 88 years old, but he did. Tony's shop found that the dealer was lazy and now the car is fixed, for much less than they were asking. The car business has such a bad reputation, Main Street Motors is not part of the problem. If you are looking at an automobile I can't recommend this dealership enough. Quality of cars combined with high character ownership makes this a no brainer to buy a car from them. I have to buy my 16 year old son a car, and I will be buying from Tony at Main Street Motors. He did a visual inspection and test drive it and it seemed fine. It was getting dark and close to closing time so he didn't inspect underneath. Later that same night it came to his attention that the frame was rusted and rotted away in multiple locations. The frame rail was cracked in half. The shocks were just hanging because the mounts were completely gone. the wheel wells were rotted away. Went back to the dealership the next day and Alex the owner acknowledged the damage and claimed to have a "guy" who could fix the frame and he even offered to pay for repairs. He handed my boyfriend his business card with the contact information of the repair guy. Later that day he tried calling this repair guy and left messages and never got a response. Sent Alex a text the next day and he ignored his message also. Currently we are starting the legal process to try and get our $5000 back. It's a shame this place is still in business. They have been ripping people off for years. Just don't. No matter how desperate you are. Don't. You've been warned. Oh and let's not forget the 15 or so times they have been sued in court since 2019!

The car was extremely filthy on the inside - like checking into a hotel room that wasn't cleaned after someone else had checked out - it was gross. All the food and other crap under both front seats, took days to clean (some of it is still there!). The buttons, the knobs, the console, and all the surfaces were dirty. The worse thing is, the car Jim Marino sold me has a MAJOR problem with the ventilation system which Jim played off as minor. I took the car to Jim's mechanic, who misdiagnosed the car (Top Value Muffler at 3317 Whipple St. NW) and as it turns out, the problem is much deeper & requires the DEALER for repair. Oh well, BUYER BEWARE!
