5 Stars for Legacy and Tim the plumber. Tim was a very nice guy and I enjoyed our talk. He performed a flush of the water heater for me, part of an annual servicing I learned i needed to do after my water heater died last year and a new one was installed. He did advise me that an Anode Rod needed replacing. Although the home warranty replaced the water heater last year and wrote on it to replace every 2-3 years, Tim said after one year, it looks like it might be failing. After thinking about it and working with my water osmosis filter company and them having to replace my water softener, they also confirm replacing the anode rod is probably the best thing for me, so now I will look into this company replacing the anode rod as suggested. Legacy was once a reputable company, but over the past one to two years the quality of service has significantly declined. During that time, I have repeatedly been given inaccurate information regarding service recommendations and repairs that later appeared unnecessary. Today's service appointment was the most concerning example. I maintain a paid annual club membership that includes maintenance for both my tankless water heater and HVAC system. The technician arrived nearly two hours late and appeared exhausted. Most troubling, the scheduled tankless water heater flush -- the primary purpose of the visit -- was never performed. Instead, the technician took photographs and left without completing the service. Two days prior to this appointment I seriously considered canceling my membership due to ongoing concerns with the company's declining service standards. Unfortunately, I decided to give Legacy one final opportunity and renewed the membership. The outcome of today's appointment unfortunately confirmed my concerns. As a result, I will now be pursuing a chargeback for services that were paid for but not delivered. This level of service is unacceptable. After five years as a loyal customer, I expected professional conduct, timely service, and completion of the work that was scheduled. I agree with some of the other reviewers that Legacy used to be a reputable company, but their service has gone down hill. They don't keep their appointments. I had a rental property serviced and they waited until after changing filters to tell me the disconnects we locked. I asked them to cut them off but they refused. They did not provide any time for me to rectify this issue before leaving. I attempted to call and complain but I couldn't even get ahold of a manager to talk to. I used to think Legacy was the best, but they have outgrown themselves and are far from it. I would avoid them at all costs. read more

I wrote my original review when the other owners had Legacy. They were amazing. While my units are working well and the twice a year maintenance is fine. Here is my issue. I spent over $22,000 on my units. They are not even 4 years old. Every time Legacy comes out they have a minimum of $3,000 in suggested fixes or maintenance. This past week they are recommending about $5,000. $2700 for duct cleaning (Seriously????) $1200 for a special surge protector $966 for a capacitor replacement (tech didn't even mention it) They just sent it. Signed up for the annual electrical/AC/plumbing check because was so impressed with electrical work, which I would give 5 stars. The plumbing check was thorough, but a scam. They're interested only in conning you into a whole house repiping, giving only a quote for that and not for other issues including a leak found at the outside water source. He was professional, answered my questions, personable, explained the Spring Tune Up details, and provided his recommendations (insulation upgrade being one of the recommendations). Nick provided me with an invoice of the Spring Tune up, and his recommendations w/estimates via email at the time of service. However, over the past few months I've been having certain issues with this company, most recently pertaining to scheduling and lack of communication on their part. I consider myself a reasonable person, so an issue once or twice is understandable (nobody is perfect) and as long as the issue is resolved, it is forgivable. I spoke about my concerns with Nick while he was on-site for the Spring Tune Up, and also called Legacy Air and spoke with a representative about my concerns. The representative provided me with the emails of two managers. I then emailed the managers about my concerns. I recently became a widow and found that life continues, so I found myself taking on some routine maintenance duties of the household. That included my A/C units. I have two and we had one replaced last year. I had searched through the bookkeeping and previous paperwork for the house. I had even searched my husband's contacts but could only find one A/C company. Thinking that was who had serviced and replaced our unit last year I gave Legacy Air Conditioning a call. They found evidence of a house call in 2018 but nothing more recent. They happily offered to come out and check my A/C units. My technician, Kevin was a really great guy. He checked both units outside and checked the furnace in the attic. My brother in law had recently made a visit and I had him change the four filters in the ceiling at the top of the stairs. I cannot believe that some design guy thought it was a good place to put A/C filters. Not only are they at top of stairs but 20 feet high. But being a super nice guy, Kevin offered to change them but since they didn't need it, he instructed a replacement in a few months. Overall, my units are working well, he said that the old unit was still putting out but he cautioned that it might last and it might not. And give them a call if anything happens. The service call went very well. My technician was on time, knowledgeable, very helpful and made sure I knew what he was checking and the results of his checkup. He assured me that Legacy Air Conditioning would be happy to service my units at anytime. Cautioned towards the coming heat of summer and not over doing the old unit. This past spring I had a great experience with a system check and duct cleaning. Now it's winter and a legacy air salesperson called to schedule a cleaning for the heat pump and also to flush the water heater. Made 2 separate appointments and now both appointments have been cancelled in a text saying basically "we're too busy to do the cleaning" UNACCEPTABLE . Do better. I purchased a 5 ton A/C unit for my house From legacy. It was to replace a 2.5 unit that legacy's tech told me was unable to accommodate my house (fyi). I have 2 units for a 3000 square foot one story house. I've lived here 21 years no issue but the 2.5 unit failed. So I called legacy. I've asked for a copy of the receipt 2x and no response, so now I can't get considerations from NV energy for reimbursement. Besides that the new unit is so powerful that it overrides my existing unit that won't work now, with the new unit. (But it still works) So I paid $16,000.00 for a unit too big for my house. Dee and Eloy from Legacy Air & Heating were awesome! I had a surge protector installed to my main electrical panel to protect all my appliances and my newer A/C system. Dee explained everything to me and how the surge protector works. Dee asked me if I knew how to check my circuit breakers in my panel and I said I had no I do not. He took extra time to show me how to check them and how often I need to check them. Dee also thoroughly explained if certain things happen when testing my breakers and when I need to call. I booked Legacy Air to run Cat 5 cables to hardwire my house and overall had a great experience. For the cable running part of the job, I worked with MJ and Dee. They worked great as a team. It's not the easiest to run cabling in a house on multi levels without having to drill on the outside to make it work. I really didn't want any unnecessary drilling or extra fixtures on the outside of my home so they reassured me that won't be happening. In the end, they ran 5 cat5 lines only making 5 holes in our downstairs closet, living room, and second floor loft. They really listened to my needs and did a really great job, shout out to MJ and Dee! Afterwards, we needed to book the dry wall company to patch up the holes. We were scheduled for Aug 15th at 11am via text message directly from Legacy and on the 14th, I called Legacy directly to confirm. Unfortunately, the text message was deleted on their end and asked us if we could reschedule it to sometime in September. I immediately asked if they can honor our original scheduled date and even showed them proof of my original message. Their booking manager Nicole was out of the office so she had to call me back the next day. She called back first thing in the morning and honored our original date for drywall, she used another partner to make sure we were taken care of. She totally turned our experience around and it really meant a lot to me and my wife. Since it was an error on their end, it was the least they could do in my opinion and they totally delivered, thank you again for making this right, Nicole. And next, the dry wall repair. I sadly forgot the guys names but they were the best part of the service if you want my honest opinion! They were professional, on time, and super efficient. From the start, they jumped into action and lined their entire workspace with plastic wrap to ensure our home stayed clean at all times. From that point on, they were able to patch 5 holes in a couple hours. The only delay was having to pick up matching paint from the store but that only took 30 minutes. All in all, they were finished within 4 hours! It was such a great experience and they wrapped up the entire project in the best way, making everything look just the way it did before we got any work done. Check out the results, it's amazing. Thank you again, you two. Finally, lets go over price and payment. They were a touch flexible on price so that was helpful and they offered a 12 month financing plan that allows you to pay it off within a year with zero interest. The APR only kicks in if there's any balance left over, it's through Wells Fargo and I've already started making payments. Just make sure you ask all those questions during the quoting phase. I would recommend Legacy Air! And this wasn't even a reference, I found them on Google, among 4-5 other businesses that gave me quotes as well. Beware of this company. They replaced 3 AC units totaling over 40k. We got the Club Membership for service twice a year. Each technician says something different from the next. It's just constant upselling which is known of this company but they don't even do the job they are there for. See the photo attached where the pipe has come apart and clearly leaving drips/staining. Do they address that? Nope! Why not tell you instead you need to spend 3k on other things. The last technician told us that City Inspection was never done on our units. You can also see that noted right there on the Invoice attached. We had a service in Dec 2025 and everything was apparently fine. We discovered what we thought were quite a few issues in Feb 2026 and their own technician acknowledged all issues. So what was even done in Dec? We have asked several times for a call from management. Nobody has called. There are way better companies who actually care for your business. read more

I called because I bought a new house and I wanted to have a faucet and toilet installed. When I called to make the appointment I asked if I can get an estimate while the plumber was at the house and as soon as I agreed to the price we could do the install. I confirmed everything with the dispatch. I was scheduled between 12 and two today. 2 o'clock rolls around and the company doesn't have the courtesy or audacity to call and tell us that they changed our appointment. I received another text message saying that the plumber would be coming between two and four. 4 o'clock rolls around the plumber again as a no-show. It's a phone call saying that he sent me an estimate without looking at the job. I called dispatch I ask what's going on and they don't know they apologize and say that they're gonna send the plumber out and he'll be at the house at 5:30 PM. I drive an hour across town to get to the house and at 5:30. I get another text message saying Fernando is not going to show up tonight. I called and I talked to the Plumbing dispatch manager who lacked customer service and empathy. My time is just as important as their time and to be waiting from 12 o'clock until 6 o'clock is extremely unprofessional. I asked what kind of discount they were going to give me and it was still over $900. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. I'm in the construction industry and I can't believe how horribly this company is being ran. What a shame. read more

They just quoted me $10,000 to replace my home circuit breaker box, even though every AI I checked with said a fair price would be between $1,500 and $2,000. When I confronted them, the manager lost his cool and said he'd never do business with us again. Back when they started, you could call the owner and he was a top-notch businessman. Now that it's been sold, it feels like a crew of seasoned con artists has taken over. Run--hold on to your wallet and run. read more

Legacy was the 1st plumber to respond to my request. I waited all day for them while getting regular updates that someone was dispatched and on their way. I realized after 6pm that night that no one was coming and that I was communicating with an Artificial Intelligence program not a real person. Only once did I talk to a real person. Almost 36 hours later and still have not called or showed up for the appointment that was supposed to be sometime between 2 to 5 pm Sunday. It's now 9:00pm Monday. Nothing!! Our technician was MJ and he was great! He showed up on time, very friendly and knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing and inspecting. He was able to quickly find the issue and got it replaced that day. He also had a couple of other recommendations but wasn't insistent about having it done right then and there, which I appreciated a lot. Our air stopped working and didn't notice till 9 pm. I called early next working about 6 am. We have a technician there by 8:30 am. Thomas was great! It only took him about 15 minutes to find the issue He explained what was wrong and showed me what he was replacing and explained what happens when this part is not working We have had our unit 7 years now and Legacy installed it. Legacy air just added electrical to their services. I had an electrician come out to replace two landscape panels. He did a good job. But in Nov of 24 when I paid him, he lost the check for approximately 1284.00. The electrician contacted me toward the middle of January 2025. I could not believe the company did not contact me. I phoned legacy air many times trying to get an acknowledgment that the check was lost so I could send them a new one. I spoke to Vanessa, Andrea and another pleasant woman who tried to help by contacting the dept who handles this. Weeks went by. No phone call, no contact. I would not do business again with this company for any reason. I finally gave up sent a new check stating a replacement check. The electrician they sent out was young but did a decent job. He did seem forgetful in general and was learning on the job, talking to his supervisor many times while working here. read more

Had an issue with the billing and loan and management was able to fix the pricing issue and adjust my loan to extremely favorable terms. We started using this company for maintenance after the prior company we used to install new HVAC and furnace in 2022 went out of business... Precision Air. They did terrible and shoddy work taking advantage of my elderly Mom. Legacy came to service and Eddie tried to sell my Mom on adding more insulation which we absolutely did not need as my parents had upgraded insulation and heat shielding installed when the home was built. Wow would sum up this company. We had our HVAC system installed by them last year, but there was a leak in the system from the manufacturer. Where they could have given me the runaround and charged me for labor as only parts were under warranty, they did not. They installed a new coil at no charge and were great about it. About a few weeks ago I called Legacy Air (I'm a repeat customer, doing business with Legacy Air has been generally great for a decade plus. I signed up for the maintenance plan, and a few days (my choice, could've been sooner) later Dave came out to perform the inspection. There were many problems revealed, which were simply a matter of time before the unit would stop working altogether. This was not a shock to me, as it's the unit I inherited with the house in 2009 when I bought it. I opted for complete system replacement instead of trying to repair the obsolete. Fast forward a couple of weeks (again my choice, could've been sooner) and it's install day. Pablo & Miguel were excellent, arrived on time in the morning and were, courteous, & professional from start to finish. Very happy with how the install went every step of the way. From the maintenance plan (which has already more than paid for itself) to the pre-install inspection to breaking down the options easily & comfortably with Dave to the install, post-install testing & cleanup with Miguel & Pablo were all handled with the highest degree of skill & professionalism. All for a competitive rate. Can't say it enough, very happy with Dave, Pablo, Miguel, and the entire Legacy Air team that I've worked with over the years. Top option in Las Vegas IMO. read more
