They do shoes for ladies, men, and children, and also stock a range of wellies, slippers etc. They had LOADS of slippers, in the styles that old ladies wear, so maybe a perfect place to go if you usually buy your nan slippers for Christmas. Other than that I doubt I'll be back in, cheap prices, but really cheap horrible products, not a fair economy if you ask me.

It used to be busy enough before the big Tesco superstore opened, due to Tesco previously being located within the centre, however now, apart from visitors to New Look, it is generally just used as a 'through area' - people wanting a shortcut to the town centre. The DeCourcy centre never realised the potential that was intended for it. Even when it first opened, it was never filled to full capacity. Over the last couple of years, the centre has been looking increasingly tired and dilapidated, and it is now generally used as a meeting place for the elderly. Even a pound shop which only opened recently has just closed down, and as someone else mentioned, the gift shop Etc are also having their 'closing down sale' Sad times for the DeCourcy Centre.

I find nowadays footwear, particularly high heeled boots, are extremely slippy, (embarassing at least, downright dangerous at worst!) so anytime I get a new pair, I take them straight down to Robinson's to get them soled. Whenever heels get worn down, I get them re-heeled in Robinson's and find that the repair to the heels they make last MUCH longer than the heels that were originally on the footwear! In addition, Robinson's also sell top-end quality Ladies shoes, Gentlemen's shoes, and safety footwear.
