She said we would have to custom order it to make it into my hair color. I would have to spend about $750 on a wig before being able to see one in my color. I also knew they carried black wigs because the lady next to me were being shown them. For the lady next to me, her hairdresser was asking questions to her, making her feel comfortable and making sure everything she tried on was ok, while mine did the opposite. I was there for less than 10 minutes and they told me to pay $25 for the consultation fee that they never even specified to me. This is the first time I've been to a wig shop. I was so nervous and my nerves have gotten even worse while I was there. They even told me that they do not take any measurements either. They were all way out of my price range. I am practically in tears right now. I will not stop into this wig shop ever again. Once I step into stores I wonder if I will be treated like all the other customers because of how short and young looking I look. I'm in my 40s. Now I know I will not be treated the same. I'm never coming here again. I did notice a trend when I walked in there. The older ladies who were shopping around and having wigs put on them were treated much more nicely than someone like me.

I called ahead of our visit for an appointment and when we walked in, Mary checked us in and helped my mom find a wig. They have all shapes and sizes and colors. If a particular wig wasn't in the particular color you want, they can order it for you. Prices were reasonable and Mary did a great job fitting my mom with the perfect wig she was looking for. I'd highly recommend this wig shop as they were fantastic with my mom and very helpful in finding what she needed.

She is very cautious about coronavirus and sanitized the shop very carefully. She is very friendly and professional as well. I bought the first wig she recommended to try on. The price is very reasonable. I happily walked out with the wig on and gained back my confidence. I also want to clarify one thing for the shop. They don't charge $35 for trying on wigs. The store had a large selection of hair and other products which is always nice to see. An employee noticed me wandering around and asked if I needed help which I kind of did and she said she'd return after she was done helping a different customer. I found most of what I was looking for without any help and the employee did come back to help me and was able to find a color I needed in the back. She was super sweet and I appreciated her help. But employees in the store at the time were very kind and I'd honestly drive the 10 extra minutes out to that store than the ones that were closer just because of this one experience.

Asian owned beauty supply store that follows black people around the store…read more Sadly it's still happening. Came to this store as an alternative to my regular beauty supply store, as I remembered I needed gel. I walked into the store and was greeted by an older Asian woman as I proceeded down the isles looking for gel. I noticed for every aisle I went down, there was an Asian man following me at the end of every aisle cap. I looked down and saw the gel just as he walked towards me asking could he help me. I said no, and he put his hands up and repeated himself. I said no again. I proceeded to the front of the store where they both were standing and watching me. I turned, said " Have a nice day" and went to the other beauty supply store about a mile away. I'll never come here again.

Buyer Beware - this company is a trainwreck. Different names, undisclosed locations, NO customer…read moreservice and they cheated me out of my refund. I ordered a wig Sept. 22nd and paid with PayPal. The wig was delivered Sept. 28th, and returned Oct. 4th by UPS. It was delivered to HairKittyKitty Oct.6th and UPS sent me a photo of the delivery. I never received a refund or even a store credit, no communication at all - only silence.The first time I called customer service, I got voicemail and left a message for a call back. I called back repeatedly but got no answer at all, not even voicemail. On Oct. 23rd I opened a complaint through PayPal, but they got no reply either. I emailed customer service Nov. 7th that was answered by Nigel, who acknowledged the return. He said "I have just this minute processed the return and refund for you. You should see the funds reappear in your bank account within three business days". No refund was received, and none of my calls or emails have since been answered. I filed a consumer complaint with my State Attorney General, but it will take several weeks to be processed, and meanwhile I'm out the money and unemployed with hair-loss. Curious that I can't get customer support, but I still get their promotional emails, every day.
