I put down $100 for a deposit and Beatrice assured me it would be applied to the cost of the wig. By the time it was ordered, I was told it was back-ordered but nobody ever contacted me to tell me. I was subsequently scheduled to come in and see Tory (after calling there 3 or 4 times) who stated that the color I specifically wanted was backordered but other colors were not. She pushed me to find another color in the same wig and was not very pleasant about it. When I left, I said to my husband, "I did not like her at all". At one point, Tory even said to me, "You chose that color" when I mentioned my hesitancy about the new color. No, Tory, that was my second choice. Then she quoted me a price of $500 when Beatrice had told me twice it was $375. Tory told me the deposit DOES NOT go toward the cost of the wig. I have spent the last week ruminating over my choice and decided that it was not worth the $100 wig deposit I would forfeit to pay over $350 for my second choice. They can keep the wig or return it but I am going to get the wig somewhere else. Much better experience at LNY salon in Alpharetta. If they truly were an ethical business they would return my $100 deposit. Either these people do not know what they are doing or they are lying outright to get more money from their customers. Addendum: I sent a hand written letter to the owner over a week ago and no response. I guess that shows how much she cares about customer satisfaction and her employees emulate her behavior well.

As I transition from relaxer to natural, I reached out for guidance on color, and she went above and beyond by doing a test for me at no charge, which I really appreciated, especially since other places I contacted quoted a fee. Her customer service was exceptional from start to finish, and you can tell she genuinely cares about her clients. I even tried to tip her for her time, and she graciously declined. It's clear why she and her salon have so many positive reviews. Highly recommend if you're looking for someone knowledgeable, honest, and truly focused on great service!

I've been a loyal client for years, but after sharing a truthful and respectful review about my…read moremother's experience, I was denied future service which is incredibly unprofessional and petty. My review simply pointed out that she was charged for small braids and a blow dry WITHOUT being informed those would cost extra. Also if it was informed then they need to add it to the service list which they have not. Her hair was already relaxed and straightened, and there was zero communication about additional charges until checkout. This kind of pricing surprise is misleading and unacceptable. What's worse is that instead of taking accountability and improving their customer communication, they chose to silence me. That speaks volumes about how they handle constructive criticism. A professional business should prioritize transparency and integrity and take accountability, not shy away and hid from all there problems If you're running a business, it's your responsibility to be upfront about costs-not quietly add charges on the side and wait till it's time to pay to speak up! Reneka is very talented, professional and a sweetheart…read more Two years ago, when I left my long term stylist that I had been with for over 14 years because she was not willing to continue learning new and improved methods of styling and kept me in the salon ALL Day, I stumbled upon Reneka from various online sources while researching (Facebook, Levels Salon, Style seat, etc.). When I called to ask questions and possibly book an appointment, I was greeted warmly and was very impressed by her knowledgeable responses. Since then, I have been a faithful client. Pros- * She is professional and very knowledgeable about healthy hair maintenance for both chemically processed and natural ethnic hair care. * She is very experienced with creating multiple styles from pixie cuts, long layers to chic bobs. HANDS DOWN, this lady has Skills! *She is an expert in creating custom wigs and natural looking extensions. *And, she conveniently offers really nice hair extensions at the salon for reasonable and competitive prices. *Lastly, she is conveniently located in Lilburn, GA which is close to Tucker, Norcross, Duluth, and Stone Mountain which is about 10-25minute drive time from all locations. Cons- *The salon could use a little sprucing up. (This is a comment mostly for all the stylist and the owner, not just her) Appearance and cleanliness of the salon is important to clients. *You have to book online and sometimes pay a small deposit to secure your appointment that is applied to your service. (This may be more of a personal dislike for me because I don't like to use Paypal, but so far, so good. I have not had to face any compromising financial concerns. And I do understand that it helps to keep her structured. Which is good for us so that there's no double booking.) All in all, I am Very pleased that Reneka is my stylist and always excited about my finished product, seeing as though I am very versatile in my choice of styles.
