Lived in the area for over five years and I'm just now stumbling on Lee's. That's actually unfortunate for me and hubby b/c the food was outstanding. Much better than our "usual" place. You know how we get used to going to the same place and just keep going again and again and again... Well, I was craving a pupu platter the other night and our reg place doesn't have the usual things with theirs, so I took to Yelp to find somewhere else to get one. Lee's Palace looked like that have a great one, and they definitely do! Everything on their platter was fabulous. The wings were so darn good hubby and I are going to find out if we can just order wings from there b/c we always do a big wing order on Super Bowl Day every year! The only other thing we tried was a large order of beef lomein and I kid you not when I say it is the best I have had - hubby also agreed. We're from Florida, so it's not like we've got the best experience with Chinese food, but it truly is the best either of us have had before. Can't wait to try other things on the menu which is the only reason for four stars and not five. I'd rather try some of their main courses before giving five stars. You can bet the next time we are craving Chinese food that Lee's Palace is where we'll be getting it from. I will definitely update the review. We started going to Lee's Palace to get a break from our normal Chinese take out spot. It's a nice change of pace and is cheaper. I can't speak for the restaurant itself as we've never eaten in their dining room. That said, every time we've ordered they are friendly and easy to order with and the order has always been correct. Our typical order consists of: Chicken fried rice Chicken Lo Mein General Tsaos chicken Shrimp Egg Foo Young Mixed Veggies Spring rolls Everything was pretty good again, nothing is INCREDIBLE/AMAZING. But our favorites are the egg foo young, fried rice, and mixed veggies. Overall the food tastes freshly cooked and everyone enjoys it, including our 11 and 8 year old. read more

I've stumbled upon leaves on Uber eats and it has become a staple in my diet. I have tried several different things from the menu and it's always amazing from the rice noodles to the house fried rice the entrées and chef specials all are delicious. I personally like the spring rolls and the soups and cannot order without adding those tidbits. I had one experience where they didn't honor what I wanted via Uber eats but I'm not gonna hold that against them nor against their review because every single other time I got exactly what I ordered per my instructions. For my daughter's birthday I ordered Lee's catering, and there was so much food! I wasn't quite expecting that, since it was pretty inexpensive. It had been a while since we ordered from Lee's Palace because of my wife's dietary restrictions, but I was craving it and my wife only eats the sweet and sour chicken (no sauce...I know, she's weird ) but I ordered the Happy Family and the Lee's Sampler, and OMG, I was SO happy that I did! The Happy Family portion was HUGE and so darn good, and the Sampler was just as good! I will NOT be waiting very long before I order from them again, and their prices are ridiculously reasonable for how much food they give you! I was so happy to know their quality hadn't fallen off (it got even better, if possible) in the 2 years since I had ordered from them. This will definitely be a monthly treat for me! My partner, and I ate there last night. I ordered the Happy Family, and my partner ordered the Subgum Wonton. The food was delicious! I could not ask for better service because they were constantly checking on us. You can still go in for a good sit down meal, which I highly recommend, or you can order takeout like a lot of people were doing. I asked if they were going through a renovation, but the young man explained to us that the landlord is doing nothing to fix their a/c system. It's a shame. I have been going to this Lake Mary gem for years and it's run by the kindest family who have truly created a community staple and genuinely care about good food and good service. My go to order is Shrimp Rice Noodles because I'm a bit~obsessed~but everything they do here is a win! Lee's Palace is a local favorite restaurant. Hard to believe I had not written a review on it before. We have been getting food from Lee's for a number of years as Lake Mary residents. I have known this restaurant to be quick, reliable, and the food to be hot and great tasting. During this pandemic, it's very important to support local businesses and so my husband and I decided to get some takeout from here over the weekend. I find their dinner combinations to be the best value. We ordered one honey sesame chicken and one sweet and sour chicken combo. It comes with rice, soup, and a spring roll. One of these can easily feed 2 very hungry people for about $12. The food was still very hot when we got home. All the sauces were placed in a separate plastic bag. The food was tasty and flavorful. The "large" size is large only in price. The won ton's in the soup are almost pure noodle cleverly folded to mimic filling inside. Even the sweet sauce is thin, almost clear. Unfortunately my first and last time ordering for delivery. Taste of Sesame chicken wasn't horrible but the texture was like eating a fried rubber band. Total bill $26 including $4 tip , $3 delivery fee even though menu states orders over $18 we deliver. No mention of fee. Delivery was fast for 9pm order. My issues are: No silverware which was requested. Fried rice with only eggs, no vegetables, or onions soy sauce only. No heat on the general Taos chicken main course I ordered Pros: Container was nice to keep food warm,. They did offer a sleeve of condiments, none of which I asked for, but nice. Wonton soup tasted like plain water, the dumplings were ok, but the general tso chicken and fried rice tasted like it had been cooked and sitting around for quite some time. Everything was excellent. The best hot and sour soup I have in a long time. Thick sour with a little spice absolutely perfect. My sister had the general Tsao she said it was the best she's ever had. I was craving Chinese food and decided to check Lee's out, as it has the highest ratings amongst Chinese restaurants in the area. The restaurant is located in a Publix plaza and looked like any other Chinese take out place from the outside. When I walked in, I was surprised by how nicely this place was decorated. I loved all the Chinese furnitures and art hanging on the walls. The restaurant also felt very clean. The owners definitely put a lot of thoughts into making this place look nice. We were offered complimentary fried dough to snack on as soon as we sat down. For our entrees, I got the Singapore noodles with egg drop soup and my boyfriend got the fried shrimp dinner combo, which also came with a spring roll and a side of wonton soup. My egg drop soup was good but it's egg drop soup, it's hard to mess up. My Singapore noodles was very good. It was dry, which is how I prefer my Singapore noodles. The dish had plenty of shrimps and the onions that came with it tasted fresh. My boyfriend also like his meal, but he loves Chinese food so he is not hard to please. It is a decent Chinese food establishment that i will eat and order from again and probably many times when I'm this area. I have ordered take out and dined in and have enjoyed the food on all occasions. The owner is friendly and does an overall great job. Staff is friendly as well. The place could be a little tidier my dine in experience required that I wipe my seat off before sitting. The food is average...so that means I will order again. I'm not running around telling anyone to rush over but I am saying if you're looking for good Chinese food in this area then this is a good choice. Sometimes the food is excellent, sometimes not. We like to eat in versus take out. Very large portions but the price is equivalent. One order could serve two easily.
