I'm leaving this here as well since my husband chose based on these stars but didnt realize the recent reviews weren't good. We scheduled a simple check-up for our HVAC units, with no prior issues. The technician inspected the units and attic, then presented a list of recommended "repairs" totaling around $16,000 per unit. He would not provide a quote for new units, saying a supervisor would call later. As I was leaving, he told my husband a "supervisor" would arrive in 15 minutes, which seemed odd. My husband reported that the two men were extremely pushy, pressuring him to call me for approval. After they finally left, my husband said he felt very creeped out by the experience. Their quote was not even on official paperwork, rather lined paper. Later that night 10pm, we noticed air blowing even though the thermostat was off. When we called Lee's, the technician only said he could come back in an hour but didn't know what was wrong. My husband ended up troubleshooting crawling in the attic and fixing it himself. It felt suspicious, like they may have tampered with the system to push a costly replacement. After sharing our experience, others told us they had similar stories. We're now very wary of who we allow into our home. My husband did call today and supposedly will issue some sort of refund but it's still left us uneasy and their methods are very unprofessional. read more

Our AC wasn't cooling on the 4th of July. Unfortunately, when I called the office, no one was available for same day visit, but got us on the books for the next day. Received a call the next morning from Tayde that he was ahead of schedule and would be by within a half hour. He was able to detect the problem and got us up and running again. Nice cool air. He did a great job on the maintenance and is the only Lees technician who was able to explain to me in a clear way, with pictures of my equipment, why I should get the high-end whole house filtration system, which I did have him install. The plumber who came to service our house was very kind and offered us various root cause solutions and explained himself very well. He seemed knowledgeable. He was also very quick with service and professional, detailing exactly what was being offered in a written quote. Lee's was also quick to send out a technician in response to my request. However on the flip side the quotes we received were quite high for even the more basic jobs. I understand this is their business model but the difference is too much for me. The Kitchen Sink: David Manjarrez was unable to repair touch less feature due to being discontinued. Instead he made it work where I need to turn it On and Off using the handle. Temporarily, I am OK with that; however, I asked him to fix the leak on the hose, which he did not do. The Garbage Disposal: Removed and plain piping installed. I just wished he would have placed the pipe closer against the cabinet wall so I could return my storage items under the sink, which I'm unable to do now. Also, the sink porcelain was scratched. What a dishonest horrible company! You should be ashamed of yourselves. Get a second opinion before using these people. They are liars. I am disabled and cannot tolerate heat. In a tough spot. Our ac quit working. Called Lee's because we very recently used them to replace our water heater which was very expensive. They pitch a really hard sell. We can install a new unit today for 26,000. or we can repair it for 10,000. but it will take a minimum of 3 weeks. Said it was a busted line that Freon leaked out. Will be 10,000. repair cost. Our ac is so old makes sense to replace it. My gut said get a second opinion. Thank you gut!!! Totally lied to us. Other tech came out from an honest business. The real problem is a duct in the attic space was collapsed by a rodent or god knows what. Just needs to be replaced. Will cost under 1,000. Wow! Where did the imaginary Freon leak go? Also didn't mention our ac unit is less than 10 years old. Avoid this company. Liars and cheats! read more

Very quick to respond for a weekend, but probably due to lack of jobs because they are way over-priced and do not provide adequate information about repairs. A simple diagnosis that was easy to figure out, that should have costed $$$ was not offered, but a larger more invasive and expensive solve was only offered. Will not be calling them back in the future and was not told when making the appointment about the extra overtime fee for weekend service. Can't imagine all the people that pay their high prices and go along with whatever they say. read more

I'd been a customer since 2019. I got a new HVAC system installed in 2019 with Lees and had been paying for their maintenance membership since then. I scheduled a maintenance appointment for June 25. The tech wasn't able to clean the wasp nests around and in the HVAC system because he didn't have the supplies so I had to call and reschedule an appointment for one week after. When that appointment time came, no one showed up so I called and was told that the tech was running late. I was therefore rescheduled for the following day. On that third appointment time, the tech also said he wasn't able to clean the nests and recommended that I call an exterminator. I consulted with another HVAC maintenance company who said, after looking at pictures, that nest cleaning is routine and should have been taken care of by Lees as part of maintenance. I called Lees and asked to speak with a manager, but was told that they were in a meeting and would either call me back after the meeting or the following Monday. It's been a week and I still haven't heard from Lees. Will not be returning to this business. Update: Josue did reach out to reimburse us for the cost of extermination. read more

We called Lee's Air, plumbing and heating because of a noise coming from the return and to have a maintenance agreement and checkup. Everything was great except the compressor motor was pulling way too many amps. The noise in the return was caused by the return door. It was too restrictive. Tayde installed a new motor with a soft start kit and a new return door. Exactly what we needed. Work done in 2 hrs the next day. Service was professional and Tayde was excellent to work with. The toilet was fine, but Lee's did evaluate the leaking tub. The quote given wasn't what was asked. Instead of quoting for the needed repair, a quote to repair the tub issue plus repair the entire septic line was given. No explanation of the quote, just handed to the owner. The total quote was almost $8000. The needed repair (after really reading the quote) was $1650. The needed repair amount was higher than another plumber (who came in, had a look-see, and made a quote), but the owner actually might have gone with Lee's had the tech or someone from the office explained the rationale behind their quote. read more

These guys are scammers. Stay away. Wanted to get my AC serviced and they told me I needed a whole new unit. Then proceeded to try and sell me one for 25k?!? Red flags obviously, told me my unit didn't work anymore. Had another company come out and they found that not only was my unit fine and just needed a tune up and coolant, but the power was pulled and that's why they told us it didn't work. Looking through the comments this isn't the first time this type of thing has happened apparently. This company should be looked into and NEVER used by anyone. Something that cost a few hundred dollars and they wanted 25k?!? Either their workers are liars or don't know what they're doing, either way I wouldn't want to give them my hard earned money. As a long time customer we were extremely disappointed with the LIES from the tech. and supervisor. Heater not working after 1 week prior a Lee's tech serviced it with no problems. New Lee's tech. came out and advised we needed a Heater exchange, gas valve and motor. BUT, could still not confirm what the problem was. Tech. took photos of heater exchange and showed me. He said the pipes were cracking and he could feel them. I went on roof but he could not take off panel as he said, to show me. Photos do not show cracking. Ridiculous. Sup. came out and agreed but tried to sell me a brand new unit at either 30K electric or 16k gas. WHY? My unit is only 9 years old. Tech. did something to the unit and fixed heater but still could not tell me what he did. BUT, said we need a new unit. I had a 30 yr journeyman come out for 2nd opinion. Stated nothing was wrong with heater exchange or valve or motor. Crazy, how a company employee will straight out lie just to get business. And the sup. Also, was gonna charge me $6500 for install of exchange. That's about $1000.00 per hour. I guess that's what the going rate is??ha read more

Do not Lee's air!!! They will take try to advantage of you are only interested in selling and overcharging for new units. The technician quoted me a $15,0000 + repair giving me no other option except a costly repair or purchasing a base unit at approximately $24,000. I didn't feel comfortable with 2 costly options and reached out to family and friends and was able to fix the issue for under $100. It was a simple repair. Shame on you Lee's read more

Lee's was of ZERO help because I am not the home owner. My mother-in-law is in her 80s and is at the hospital where my father-in-law is terminally ill. The fan on the forced air unit has been running for 3 days and my mother-in-law is unable to take care of the issue. As the son-in-law, I assured my mother-in-law I would take care of the fan issue. But I'll have to find a different company to help because Lee's will not schedule a technician to come out because I'm not the home owner. Thanks for nothing! read more

On June 27th our 3 ton air conditioning unit finally gave out. We called our house warranty company and they said they wouldn't be able to have someone come out until Wednesday so we decided to call Lee's and they promptly came the same day and gave us an estimate on what it cost to repair. We would like to complement the service man Orlando for giving us excellent service he was honest knowledgeable and the job only took an hour and a half.
