It is SO good. The general tsos is incredible with loads of spice. The service was so kind, they made sure I got all of the food I ordered.

Still dark inside and rude service. However, I ordered some hot and sour soup and a friend picked it up. FINALLY they got it right. Right amount of vinegar, and not too much cornstarch to thicken it. Right amount of spices. I've read other reviewers say that rude behavior is a cultural thing. I say "BS". I've been to plenty of places that are Chinese where there's not rude behavior. It's a family owned restaurant, it's sit down order from menu, not buffet. There are 2 Chinese buffet in Sidney but this is the only sit down Chinese restaurant. There is not too much on the decorations, but the service is fast. General Tsao is very good, we often go there for loemein and hot sour soup. You can taste the steel hot wok in stir fried loemein, the flavor you definitely can't get from buffet. Fair price, good location right at downtown. I have never seen the hostess / waitress use a pen and pad to write down the order no matter how many people at the table, but she has never made a mistake on the orders. Have been going to Lee's for years and the food is good but recently they have in increased there prices from 20 to 50% and the attitude of the lady that waited on me was horrible. She was very rude when I was picking up my order and had no patience for anyone. There are other Chinese restaurants in the area that are just as good or better and better prices. Two weekends in a row we asked for a specific order and 2 weekends in a row it has been messed up. The little kid answering the phone and taking the orders does not pay attention to what customers are ordering. When we called to tell them they had messed up the order a second time, he never apologized, he only argued with us. This used to be me and my husband's favorite place to go to all the time. Once we moved from the area whenever we came down we made sure to eat here. But the last 2 times we have been there last night was the most recent Feb 29,2020. The food has gone down hill. We ate there in January 2020 and told them whoever was cooking needs to chill on the sesame oil cause it was very over powering. They must not care cause our food last night horrible we couldn't eat it! So disappointed since we used to brag about this place to everyone! read more

I've ordered from Lee's Chinese a few times and have had good food and good portions. If you call to order, they can be a bit short, but it is also part of the culture. The first time I called I had a pleasant experience, but the 2nd and 3rd times were a bit short which could be viewed as rude to more sensitive people. When ordering delivery they are usually fairly quick and the food is still very hot. Only once have I had to wait a great deal of time for delivery, but that was on a known busy night for many food delivery places. I have only been in the restaurant proper a couple of times. The lighting is dim, but it gives a ambiance to the dining room. Overall, I enjoy Lee's Chinese and wish the owners continued success. read more

Lee's Chinese Restaurant continues to decline. The place is dark and the food is not good. The cashew chicken had very little chicken in it and the egg roll was dry with very little filling. I would not recommend this restaurant. When I lived in Sidney many years ago it had great food and great service. We ate there today and lights were turned down and hard to see menu. The temp of food was not hot, cold in middle, never checked back if you needed anything, wouldn't remove empty plates from table. This place has totally went downhill. read more

I used to love ordering from Lee's Chinese here in Sidney Ohio. But tonight they have lost a customer. We called in this evening at 8:55 pm and placed a delivery order. (they close at 10pm). The girl took our order and said it would be about 30-35 minutes. 50 minutes later I called to find out where our food was. The same girl answered the phone and said that it would be another 30 minutes because they had more orders come in so it was really busy. I asked her if she meant that orders that came in after we had ordered....she said yes. So I asked to clarify again and to tell me why orders that came in after my order was placed was being delivered before mine was. She told me that it just the way it was. I tried to explain to her that doing things that way was bad business. Her response was, " I know." Really? So 45 minutes after I had called the second time .... still no food. I tried to call back to cancel my order and no one answered the phone. At 10:35 pm they came to deliver our food...... 1 hour and 40 minutes later. What a joke! I am sad to have to say that we will not be ordering again. read more
