I love this restaurant especially for dinner on a Monday when other places are closed. My go to is the Singapore noodles. The portion is large that it lasted me at least 1 or 2 more meals. The value is great! They don't do sit in dining anymore, but they are able to cook the dishes very quickly which is much appreciated! read more

I swear this is probably one of the best Chinese places I've been my favorite thing in the world is a drop soup and I've tried many of their other things as well. I usually go and get it never have to wait too long. My food's always hot it's always scrumptious. read more

Best Chinese in the area! Always fresh and they deliver too! Highly recommend if you're craving classic Chinese cuisine! General Tso is always on point! read more

Good food but expensive. Wish they would do the buffet and reduce the prices. Best Chinese food in Sidney though.

Food was good. Prices were a little high. I think they need to lower their prices. The person running the register was also a little rude.

I've loved Lees Chinese since I was a kid. It's always a great treat, and it's the one place in Sidney that never lost its quality over the years. I just ordered delivery for the first time tonight, and it arrived hot and FAST. Better than if I'd driven in to get it. read more

Food is good but not always consistent. Fast & HOT (temp & if you ask for extra spicy). We order about once a month!

The food was hot and scrumptious, and service was quick, the ladies very helpful. My first time here, they do carry out or delivery, no dine in--personally they have a new satisfied customer. read more

Dark, dirty, creepy and rude place.Just dont and save your money and frustration.Your order will be overpriced, wrong, and served up with a rude attitude. Many people in town are amazed they are still in business. read more

Great food every time I eat here. You will not be disappointed. Only open for take out or delivery.

terrible service, zero hospitality. be careful they will overcharge for anything they can. crooked people. save your money go somewhere else or be prepared to feel like you were just robbed. read more

Love the food but it's a little expensive.. the fried rice is niceeee. Ambience is okay could be better. But overall it's good food!

We order quite often, always friendly & always hot. I have never had a bad meal here & they always get my order right!

Still dark inside and rude service. However, I ordered some hot and sour soup and a friend picked it up. FINALLY they got it right. Right amount of vinegar, and not too much cornstarch to thicken it. Right amount of spices. I've read other reviewers say that rude behavior is a cultural thing. I say "BS". I've been to plenty of places that are Chinese where there's not rude behavior. I miss the old days though. This place, with the original owners used to be packed and people waiting in line to eat inside. read more

It is SO good. The general tsos is incredible with loads of spice. The service was so kind, they made sure I got all of the food I ordered.

It's a family owned restaurant, it's sit down order from menu, not buffet. There are 2 Chinese buffet in Sidney but this is the only sit down Chinese restaurant. There is not too much on the decorations, but the service is fast. General Tsao is very good, we often go there for loemein and hot sour soup. You can taste the steel hot wok in stir fried loemein, the flavor you definitely can't get from buffet. Fair price, good location right at downtown. I have never seen the hostess / waitress use a pen and pad to write down the order no matter how many people at the table, but she has never made a mistake on the orders. What a good memory she has! read more

See all

We order at least once a month.Ordered today general tsos chicken to hard to eat . everything was hot spicy hot .wonder what's going on ??

It's difficult to write a review of Chinese food in Ohio Mu shu vegetables were good. The crepes were a bit dry. Everything in the Midwest tends to be over salted. Ambiance was too dark. Although the place was clean Hot and sour soup. Again too much salt. Not enough vinegar and hot chili Owners should socialize more with customers read more

Have been going to Lee's for years and the food is good but recently they have in increased there prices from 20 to 50% and the attitude of the lady that waited on me was horrible. She was very rude when I was picking up my order and had no patience for anyone. There are other Chinese restaurants in the area that are just as good or better and better prices. I will not be going back to Lee's Chinese. read more

Great Chinese in downtown Sidney. Very polite staff and the food is very consistent. General Tso's chicken is the best around. Forget the buffets when you have this option. read more

I ordered Szechwan Chicken. The vegetables and sauce was good, but I truly don't believe the meat was chicken! It was so rubbery I couldn't even bite it in two. It was disgusting! I won't go back! read more

Two weekends in a row we asked for a specific order and 2 weekends in a row it has been messed up. The little kid answering the phone and taking the orders does not pay attention to what customers are ordering. When we called to tell them they had messed up the order a second time, he never apologized, he only argued with us. We enjoy the flavor but we no longer be doing business with Lee's due to the poor customer service! read more

The restaurant is small quiet and easy to relax in. Food is always hot when served. No buffet for a wide choice like china garden but, I would take Lee's over garden cause of the quietness of the restaurant! read more

I've ordered from Lee's Chinese a few times and have had good food and good portions. If you call to order, they can be a bit short, but it is also part of the culture. The first time I called I had a pleasant experience, but the 2nd and 3rd times were a bit short which could be viewed as rude to more sensitive people. When ordering delivery they are usually fairly quick and the food is still very hot. Only once have I had to wait a great deal of time for delivery, but that was on a known busy night for many food delivery places. I have only been in the restaurant proper a couple of times. The lighting is dim, but it gives a ambiance to the dining room. Overall, I enjoy Lee's Chinese and wish the owners continued success. read more

This used to be me and my husband's favorite place to go to all the time. Once we moved from the area whenever we came down we made sure to eat here. But the last 2 times we have been there last night was the most recent Feb 29,2020. The food has gone down hill. We ate there in January 2020 and told them whoever was cooking needs to chill on the sesame oil cause it was very over powering. They must not care cause our food last night horrible we couldn't eat it! So disappointed since we used to brag about this place to everyone! read more

I've eaten lunch here 3 times. Have always gotten good service. The food is better than I've found at chain Chinese restaurants.

Food is typical for a Chinese restaurant, however the portions are generous and the prices are very fair. Service is quick. I would suggest to friends, especially if you are short on time. read more

Best place around...for Asian food....kinda quiet never really anyone dinning in when I go in for carry out..... food well cooked place looks pretty clean family run business. ...locals......support small town usa.....service was a little straight to the point.. but accurate. ...not OMG hood food but definitely I'd go back good... nice area of town for a walk after as well...Enjoy. ... read more

One of the better Chinese restaurants in the area. I recommend the kung pao chicken. The building is very dated but the food is good and the service prompt. read more

I'm not a fan of Chinese food and Lee's makes sure that doesn't change. My wife thinks it is good but I find it, Meh. This is a place you just have to visit for yourself. You may like it. read more

We order from Lee's at least a few times a month. They are your typical Chinese restaurant with the typical menu and typical service. They know us as regulars and we enjoy their food. If you are looking for gourmet Chinese food, this is not your place. If you are looking for overly friendly service & want to be waited on hand & foot, this is not your place. read more

The service was blunt, and prompt. We got a LOT of food for the price. It was authentic and well cooked. Not the most amazing food, but it definitely wasn't bad. Good food for a good price and they don't yank your chain. Straight to the point. I recommend ordering the beef lo mein and General read more

Just from the phone convo they were very rude. I'm waiting to see what the food is about when it shows up hopefully its a little kind the the lady that took my order. read more

Food fair service quick but unprofesdional. This is first time I have eaten there in 15 years and was not impressed.

Lee's Chinese Restaurant continues to decline. The place is dark and the food is not good. The cashew chicken had very little chicken in it and the egg roll was dry with very little filling. The hot and sour soup was lukewarm and globby. The lady that takes your order at the counter is loud and rude and never asks how your food is. I don't plan on going back here. read more

I would not recommend this restaurant. When I lived in Sidney many years ago it had great food and great service. We ate there today and lights were turned down and hard to see menu. The temp of food was not hot, cold in middle, never checked back if you needed anything, wouldn't remove empty plates from table. This place has totally went downhill. read more

I used to love ordering from Lee's Chinese here in Sidney Ohio. But tonight they have lost a customer. We called in this evening at 8:55 pm and placed a delivery order. (they close at 10pm). The girl took our order and said it would be about 30-35 minutes. 50 minutes later I called to find out where our food was. The same girl answered the phone and said that it would be another 30 minutes because they had more orders come in so it was really busy. I asked her if she meant that orders that came in after we had ordered....she said yes. So I asked to clarify again and to tell me why orders that came in after my order was placed was being delivered before mine was. She told me that it just the way it was. I tried to explain to her that doing things that way was bad business. Her response was, " I know." Really? So 45 minutes after I had called the second time .... still no food. I tried to call back to cancel my order and no one answered the phone. At 10:35 pm they came to deliver our food...... 1 hour and 40 minutes later. What a joke! I am sad to have to say that we will not be ordering again. read more
