The owner suggested dyeing the front to cover a few scratches, and I agreed, assuming it was part of making them look refreshed. Worst shoe service ever! Asked for my Frye boots to be cleaned and shined. He asked for clarification 5 times on cleaned, polished and shined. Even asked if I wanted the polish to be same as what it looked like or all one color. I said just like they are just cleaned & shinned. BUYER BEWARE! There is a sign in the shop when you enter stating that all services must be prepaid due to completed product never being picked up. However, I believe it is due to his ability to refuse a refund if you receive poor workmanship. I have documentation of what my shoes looked like when they were dropped off and damage present which occurred rendering the shoe unwearable when I picked up. He did not take responsibility and told me to "call the police or get a lawyer" if I was unhappy with his work. It is also very difficult to dispute the charge after the fact with the credit card company since he can supply them with a signed receipt from the customer. read more
