Similarly,my husband had an infection,pain and redness around his implant.A Maxillo facial surgeon advised us to have our dentist pull the implant out.However,Dr Tso said he would take care of it and refused to remove the implant.He prescribed and took the time needed for my husband's gums to heal.Dr Tso successfully treated my husband,whereas other dentists might have just pulled the implant out. The office is conveniently located near my job & home which makes it really easy for me. The office is also clean and modern which is a plus for me as I am a germaphobe Dr Hsu is really experienced and you can tell that he genuinely cares about his patients. Service: Dr. Lin and his assistents was very friendly, attentive, and thorough with my examination and surgery. They also put me at ease and reassured that everything was going to be okay and that my gums and teeth would be better after the procedure. My parents come here regularly to get checked up, and said that they were nice here, and I found that they were. Experience: Staff was friendly, spoke to me in English until they realized I could also speak Chinese. Its a small little place so I think it would be best to call first instead of walking in if you were to come here. Without insurance, they charged me $120 for teeth cleaning, no x-rays. Its a bit expensive, but they did it with one of those sharp hook tool things so its more accurate.. and they spent about an hour to clean too! They were very gentle while cleaning, also while giving instructions. Made the experience more...acceptable.. since I dont usually like dentist offices in general. The up side to my experience here was that without asking, dr. herbert lin told me what he saw with my teeth and gums, and what I could do to manage it to keep it as healthy as possible. Down side was... that he found a mini cavity!! noooooooooo... :'( tears to my eyes. Since he mainly does periodontics, he didn't have the option to patch it up.. but he was nice enough to write up a little note for where my cavity was for a dentist that does so i could notify them without having them charge me for consultation. On a side note, if you can speak both canto and mandarin, pretend like you can only speak one or else they will talk to you in both hahah. Recently, his son Charles became a dentist and has been cleaning my teeth. Charles (also Dr. Li) is very gentle with his hands, professional, and nice. I fully trust both of them with my dental needs. When I had my wisdom teeth pulled out 3 years ago, I was pretty scared. People have a lot of horror stories about wisdom teeth removal. So, I was really surprised that the actual removal process in which Dr. Li pulled out all 4 of my wisdom teeth was practically painless (aside from the numbing shots)! It literally did not hurt when he was pulling out my teeth. Obviously, it still hurt a lot the rest of the day after the pain medications wore off (to be expected), but by the next day I was tolerating soft foods again, so I think I overall healed rather quickly without complications. I highly recommend Dr. Li for your wisdom teeth removal needs! My mom also had a really good experience here. Her previous dentist spent 2 years trying to do her tooth implants. That dentist really dragged out the process and was charging exorbitant rates. Even yet, the implant process was still unfinished after 2 years. She recently asked Dr. Li to take over the process, and using his many years of experience, he was able to help my mom finally insert her implants in just 2 months. The other dentist said it would require at least 8 more months and thousands of dollars more! My mom says that it is evident that Dr. Li is the best and has the most experience out of all the dentists she has encountered in Northern and Southern California. He was able to minimize her pain during the process, reduce discomfort, and help her wounds heal quickly because of his skill during the process. Her new implants look very natural! Additionally, his prices are very reasonable and fair with our insurance. Our whole family strongly recommends Dr. Li.
