She advocated for me when I was in pain and educated me through a scary time. I got a little list of issues I've dealt with over the last year and she has handled all with diligence and care. An example of her magic: I was told by my previous doctor that I could only make the pain of endometriosis go away by having surgery or taking Aleve. When I asked Doctor Bracy what I could do ease the pain before needing a surgery she laughed and said how about we treat it. She presented a hormone free medication and continued to explain in detail how it would work and what I could expect. This is a new treatment - she is on top of her game. No more "well we can't really do anything about that" attitude. She also performed this gnarly surgery on me (for a different issue on the list) in the middle of covid and kicked but and I'm healed and my quality of life is way better without the pain. This is a really long review but I remember how scared, uninformed, and unseen I felt with my other doctor and if this helps anyone feeling that way and looking for another option - call her office. The wait time to be seen will be worth it.

At the same visit, she agreed to do an STD culture at my request, did it, but apparently did not send it to the lab. Being an RN myself, I refused surgery and got treatment elsewhere, which was standard treatment for gonorrhea or chlamydia, resulting in clearing of the pap smears. Dr. Bracy, nevertheless, sent a consult report to my primary MD stating that I had had the surgical option, which confused things once more.

This is my third appointment. At my first visit, I waited nearly three hours before being seen. At my second appointment, I waited for over an hour only to be told the appointment had been canceled because the doctor had an emergency. For this third appointment, I was specifically instructed to call ahead to make sure the office wasn't "running behind". I did, and my appointment was pushed back 15 minutes. However, I've now been sitting in the waiting room for over an hour with no indication of when I'll actually be seen. Communication has also been frustrating. I called several days ago because I was experiencing a complication from my medication and was told a nurse would return my call. After three days without hearing from anyone, I had to call the office again myself. I completely understand that emergencies happen and that delays are sometimes unavoidable. However, when long waits and communication issues become the norm, it makes receiving care incredibly difficult. A great doctor can only do so much if patients can't be seen in a timely manner or can't get the support they need between appointments. Unfortunately, the overall experience has made it hard to justify continuing my care here.

It was nice and I really appreciated it. Dr. Cropper is also super nice and sweet. They had to push my appointment back due to an unexpected delivery but they were all really nice about it. Dr. Cropper was really accepting and kind and I'm super excited to continue being a patient at her office! Also, the entire place smells great, nice and clean and very professional. Everything about this place was super nice and I can't wait to go back!

My partner came with me to the appointment, as we were both excited and, given our previous pregnancy experiences, had some questions and concerns. During the visit, Dr. Cropper asked only a few brief questions and performed a quick ultrasound simply to confirm the pregnancy. The ultrasound photo we were given was blurry and off-center, but what disappointed us most was the interaction. When my partner brought up concerns based on our prior pregnancies, they were dismissed with brief, cold responses. Throughout the appointment, I also felt that Dr. Cropper barely acknowledged my partner or made us feel comfortable discussing our concerns. When the office later called to schedule a follow-up appointment, I explained that I was still upset about the care I had received and shared my concerns about how the appointment had gone. The front desk staff told me they would call me back to schedule the follow-up. Instead, I received a letter informing me that Dr. Cropper would no longer be seeing me due to "patient-doctor differences." As a newly pregnant woman, this was incredibly disappointing and upsetting. Rather than addressing my concerns or attempting to improve communication, I was dismissed from the practice. I found the way the situation was handled to be unprofessional and disrespectful. Every patient deserves to feel heard, especially during such an important and vulnerable time. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Dr. Cropper.

So of course, like everyone else around my millennial age I searched online and yelp to review my future baby birther. When visiting the Woodglen Medical Group yelp page I was hesitant to go with Dr. Kassar based on the overall negative reviews of the Woodglen Medical Group as a whole, but I'm lazy and wanted to get a OB close to home. I am extremely happy I decided to go with Dr. Kassar, something to keep in mind - Sam Kassar is the OB for pregnancies and Naim Kassar seems to be the OB for everything else but babies. While I am only halfway through my pregnancy journey so far I have had great experiences with the doctor and staff. - Appointment making process is simple and easy. Something to note, they do not call to confirm your appt. a few days before, but technically that's the responsibly of the patient to make sure we know when our appt. is so I get it. - Staff (e.g. front desk and assistants) are friendly and provide good information for the easier questions you may have. - Dr. Kassar is super informative and always has an answer to all of my (normal and weird) questions + everything is located in one place here, the ultrasounds and the doctor. So there's never a need to wait to find out the outcome of the ultrasound, you find out once you see the doctor immediately after. Oh, and if you need to give blood, its on site as well. No need to visit another office. - I have never met the nurse, however I have called countless times to ask questions or inquire her opinion on different things and she is so helpful everytime. Between the nurse and Dr. Kassar I have had full peace of mind throughout my pregnancy.

I was told at my 6 week postpartum appointment that the shape of my pelvis was not made to give birth naturally and that I would never be able to give birth vaginally. When I asked if I could even consider having a VBAC, I was told absolutely not, especially because "babies typically get bigger with each pregnancy" (my first born was 8lbs 7oz). A few years later we moved and I got a new OB. Since then I've had two incredibly easy VBACs, amazing birthing experiences, and two babies less than 8lbs. My last delivery was so easy that our baby's name means "rest." I credit both of my VBAC experiences to the Lord's gracious blessings after the complete fear of childbirth and the postpartum depression that came after essentially being told I wasn't built to have children. I give two stars because my child was delivered safely and there was one nurse on staff that was always very friendly, or else I would only give one star.

Today we walked in for her 6 week postpartum appointment and they had no record that we had scheduled the appointment. She ran into the exam room and quickly, as she was trying to walk out of the door, gave single word answers to the questions my wife was asking. She was dismissive and wanted the appointment over as soon as humanly possible. I've also been trying to get her office to complete some insurance paperwork since March, and they continue to not fill out the paperwork that I've requested - as such, my insurance hasn't paid and a lab company wants nearly $4,000 for a test that should be covered under my plan. As we were leaving, we found out she is retiring TOMORROW and couldn't be bothered to end her patient relationships she spent so much time building with dignity and professionalism. Enjoy your retirement.
